Unable to get to recovery mode after repartition - Nexus 7 (2013) Q&A

Every time i tried to flash a ROM i got: ERROR 7. I Then tried to repartition: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ne...partition-nexus-7-2013-repartition-t3844386.i am not sure if something went wrong there. Afterward i wanted to reboot into recovery, but it seems like i cant get back into recovery mode. While i am able to reach fastboot mode, when i try to go into recovery, after a few seconds it jumps back to fastboot mode. Any idea how i can get my nexus back to the recovery mode

[Q] Help Please - ROM went Wrong

I tried installing GV1.5: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893933
i followed the instructions and installed zip from sd. then rebooted phone. and now my phone won't get past the load up screen. It just says
VILLIANROM
FREEYOURANDOID
and this keeps reloading.
Have you tried to reflash it again? Wipe everything and then reinstall it.
no i havn't. how do i do it? i cant turn the phone off or anything. after i typed:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
i got a message: < waiting for device >
and my cmd still says that
1) if you can't turn the phone off, pull the battery. when you turn it back on, hold down the volume down rocker.
2) why are you trying to flash a recovery image?? which recovery image is it?

clockworkmod. i was just following the instructions. how do i install the rom?
If you wanted to install the CWM img, you're suppose to do it via Rom Manager.... Its safer. I'm not sure what you did, but if you can get into your bootloader, go into recovery, and see if you have CWM flashed.

Semi-bricked One X

Hy guys,
I have a international rooted One X. I decided to switch to a non sense ROM so I flashed Cyanogen 10 on it and now I'm having major problems...after I flashed it, I was stuck in a boot loop - the phone was constantly restarting at the Cyanogen logo. I went to Hboot, and tried to go into recovery to flash something else, but when I clicked recovery, the phone restarted and Cyanogen was working This is the only way to enter Cyanogen now, as a normal reboot or shut down will just get me into the boot loop and I cannot enter recovery at all...also, the phone is not charging when its turned on/cyanogen running...only charges when its shut down...I have no ideea what the hell happened...fastboot is not really woking either, most of the time its just stuck at "waiting for phone" part.
Please help me
did you erroneously flash the boot.img to the recovery partition? that would be the only thing that would cause that i'd think..
i would retry the following.
fastboot flash recovery clockworkmod-5.8.4.0.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase cache
with boot.img being the kernel provided with your cm10 rom and clockworkmod-5.8.4.0.img being the name of your CWM recovery image.
as for fastboot working intermittently I would check to make sure the cable is snugly plugged into the computer and try another cable if possible.

I have just overcome a similar problem myself.
Start over, and do factory reset (after nandroid). Then flash the latest clockwork recovery to your phone (CWR 5.8.4.0) using
"fastboot flash recovery <filename.zip>" in the command line
then, boot into recovery, insert usb cable and choose mount usb. simply drop CM rom zip file onto your phone form the PC.
then unmount, go back to recovery menu and select install zip from sd card, then choose your zip file. after this, select reboot system from recovery. it should work fine.
I think you may have acidentally installed the CM10 rom as recovery using the wrong syntax in fastboot.
Hope that helps
Thx for the reply's, unfortunately whenever i try to flash something using fastboot, i get "error: cannot load imagename.img". Only the erase cache command works...
Fixed it using fastbootflasher!

[Solved] No bootloader, no recovery, no fastboot

Was updating my phone tonight and saw that it was recommended that I update TWRP first.
I did what I thought was a manual update of TWRP which turned out to be flashing the TWRP image to the bootloader and the recovery. Dumb mistake but oh well. Now my phone will boot up into the boot menu (reboot/boot to bootloader / download mode / recovery mode / power down). When I boot into bootloader or recovery, the phone simply reboots to the same menu. When I reboot to download mode, it takes me to another similar menu.
Although my computer recognizes some kind of connection from the phone, I have be unsuccessful in getting ADB to recognize my device.
I have tried downloading the stock RUU (http://www.htc.com/us/support/rom-downloads.html) but I am having trouble running the .exe. At times it says my phone's battery is too low to continue, and other times it simply says USB cable error. I have tried multiple cables and different computers.
Any Suggestions?
I ended up trying a few different combinations of RUU and USB cable, eventually one worked and I was able to factory reset back to the original rom.
Thanks for anybody who came in here to take a look
Try to flash rom with rom RUU.zip
i have oppo r7S and iam unable to boot into Recovery mode ans fastboot
my phone is not rooted
please help me to install a recovery

My OP3 won´t boot into recovery even after flashing stock image via fastboot

Hello everyone,
i think my OP3 is bricked, cuz after i wanted to install new custom ROM with TWRP it went south. When I swiped to install the ROM it showed, it´s corrupt so i wanted so i wanted to push some other .zip to the phone through adb, but no device showed after adb devices or fastboot devices in fastboot. So I tried restore phone from backup i had via TWRP and the phone just wouldnt boot. Oneplus logo showed for a few seconds then it disappears and phone goes dark. Have to hold start button for 10 sec for hard restart phone and then i can go only to fastboot (now it will show fastboot devices in command line). Recovery won´t boot. Tried flashing stock recovery, some versions of TWRP and still just OP logo and dark.
Thanks for every help.
I think for:
fastboot -w
fastboot flash recovery recovery_of_ur_choice.img
on flashboot mode obviously ^^
With that, u must have access to twrp

Here is the symptoms:
Go to recovery mode
Shows your device can't be checked for corruption.
Shows Google sign
go to back to step 2.
Nexus Root Kid cannot fix it.
