Does the fingerprint detection speed really depend on the lightness of wallpaper, like what's said in certain TG groups?

Usb otg not detect this rom
Confirmed, both 1008 and 1009 won't boot on CN variant.
The boot.img included can't pass whatever the f**king check realme is doing.
I also tried to flash the boot.img from India version, it doesn't pass either.
So I'm afraid Realme is doing some damn to prevent us from loading the kernel.
But strangely, the recovery from https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...very-unofficial-twrp-realme-x-stable-t3959556 works completely fine.
So I guess there should be a way to pass that check.
It looks like even with unlocked bootloader, realme X CN variant is still doing some key verification for boot.img.
Thus if boot.img is not properly signed(?) it won't boot on CN variant, thus CN variant needs a different version of LOS.
Strangely, recovery is not verified at all.
BTW, the official ozip update for CN variant is verifying itself as 1901CN, thus current TWRP won't work properly as it's specifying itself as 1901.
Not a big problem, as the model verification line can be easily removed from update-script, then TWRP can apply the converted zip.

I'm thinking the same thing.
Anything that I flash with a modded boot.img will not boot (error message)
So I then have to reflash the original boot.img via adb just to be able to boot back into twrp.
The CN version definitely has some extra security in the boot.img, and it's quite disappointing.

DO NOT Report bugs if you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
How to flash treble roms having /factory instead of /vendor?
* First time custom rom flasher/ coming from ZUI / Never flashed treble rom / Never flashed factory2vendor patch
1. Flash Treble TWRP ( which supports /factory )
( https://twrp.me/zuk/zukz2.html )
2. Flash ROM + GApps etc
* Coming from roms for which you had done factory2vendor conversion
1. Flash Vendor2factory zip
( https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754475514 )
2. Flash new TWRP with /factory support
It will work for both non treble like zui , and treble roms having /factory instead of vendor support
( https://twrp.me/zuk/zukz2.html )
3. IMPORTANT STEP : Reboot to new TWRP
4 Flash rom
5. No need to wipe if coming from same rom
Or
1. Flash ZUI via QFIL
2. Flash TWRP ( which supports /factory )
3. Flash rom

Amazing, was waiting for a very long time for this?
Even though Im not a fan of Lineage as it lacks some crucial features that I need, it's good to see a Lineage OS thread popup in the forum again
Hope that this one can get good performance & stability for official qualification
Thanks for the ROM! Please can someone test whether it boots with encrypted data. It is not mentioned in the known bugs so I am hoping that it works.

That's fantastic to hear. I'm glad that there are a few Android Pie ROMs available now with support for encryption because I think it's an essential security feature for those of us with unlocked bootloaders.
I am using bootleggers 3.0 rom currently which is a non-treble rom and earlier before that I was using AEX which was a treble rom, so I needed to do factory2vendor and used that specific twrp recovery. What changes should I make before flashing this rom?

Read second post.
Awesomesauce!
Update 1:
I confirm that Encryption is working!!!
Gcam mod(GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V6) working fine, so long as a basic gapps is installed obviously.
Update2:
- Love the new Trebuchet launcher, it allows you to lock/hide apps, for example, you can lock 'Settings' and the 'Google play store app' and let them be opened via fingerprint, works really well
- Clean stock LineageOS UI
- 1% per hour battery drain on standby (noticed over night)
- Power button panel 'Lockdown' option is neat, locks your phone and needs the pin/pattern to open/unlock
- Simple. Clean. Secure!
Coming from another ROM(Don't want to name it because this will become a pissing contest) I miss:
- Launcher allowing double tap to sleep. If you use something like Lawnchair Launcher double tap to sleep requires the app to have admin privileges and when you double tap it does a lockdown, i.e. you need to use the pin to unlock, I googled, this is expected behavior
- Live Display Night mode is not as good as Night Mode lighting elsewhere
Still toying around and trying to tweak to get the best battery life!
Will update this post if I find any issues. Working fine so far
Are there any option to customize u touch or to disable H/W keys?
Thanks

I wish I could, I do not game and use it as a daily driver, sorry. If you are specific about what you want a screenshot of I can try (I value my privacy and don't like sharing a screenshot of the stuff I use) to share. It's generally the same LineageOS, just Pie

This build is mainly for GSIs flashing, it won't be updated very frequently. For anything else use the official build here
Do not report here in case any GSI doesn't boot, but report it to the ROM author
On this build you'll only be able to flash A/B system images, A-only ones won't work
To go back to a non system-as-root ROM you just need to flash the official TWRP and do a clean installation of a normal A-only build

Erfanoabdi's semi/GSIs (includes Android Q, Android P ports from Google Pixel Devices etc:
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/gsi/
Note: Use only A/B System Images with above system-as-root enabled LineageOS build
If you face issues flashing GApps on a GSI (which doesn't include GApps by default ofcourse) try the following steps
* After Flashing System Image *
-> Backup System Image
-> Wipe System, Data
-> Restore System Image
-> Flash GApps
-> Reboot
What works?
Everything in the above build, but it might differ in Generic System Image for example: VoLTE might be broken and pushing ims.apk in the system might fix it but not necessarily. Default Camera app can be unstable using third party camera can be a good option.
Tested GSIs:
* Erfanoabdi's Pixel Android Q dp2 - A/B slot image
* Erfanoabdi's Generic Android Q dp2 - A/B slot image
I'll take one as well..

Yes, could someone please tell what's the difference between this one and the official lineage is 16?
Nice work. In theory, would it be possible to flash the latest Android Q Beta 5 official GSI using this?

Well I didn't get a response to this so I decided to try it for myself. Turns out that the official Android Q Beta 5 GSI provided by Google (on the Android website) boots fine on Z2 Plus. However, during the setup process at the point where it asks 'Choose screen lock', the page is empty (just white space) and thus it is not possible to continue from here.
So instead I will try reverting back to stock TWRP and flashing the A-only build of Android Q Beta 5 by Erfanoabdi.

It works for me. Coming for Los 18 (backup data before !).
Install Los 19 recovery and then Los 19 zip file.
The rom seems to work. Didn't use it a lot, will see tomorrow...
At first test I will say it's slower than Los 18. Before an application starts, I have the application icon showing in big on screen but not always.
Coming from 18.1, I somehow did not manage to directly flash 19.1 Recovery (wouldn't boot but I somehow might have messed up while flashing), so I followed the more complicated procedure:
1. Flashed original Android 10 ROM with Newflasher on slot a
2. Flashed original Android 10 ROM with Newflasher on slot b
3. Flashed recovery on slot b
4. ADB sideloaded LineageOS in recovery of slot b on slot a (automatically flashed on inactive slot a).
5. ADB sideloaded GAPPS and Magisk in recovery of slot a.
Result: Works like a charm and is stable. Many thanks (I donated).
Does the unofficial build support the H314 version of the XZ2C? I get an error during the installation from adb sideload. The phone says "Package is for product xz2c but expected H8324"
Can someone tell me whether it's possible to use DualSIM and MicroSD at the same time?
LOS 18 automatically deactivates the 2nd SIM after detecting a microSD

Hi,
I had this error when I tried to install the Lineage-19.1-2022....zip direct in Los 18 Recovery (I didn't sideload).
So I've installed Lineage-19 recovery...img with fastboot, enter into recovery and apply the Lineage-19.1-2022....zip update.
That works.
非常感谢您的作品,请问这个版本什么时候才能进入官方通道呢?(sorry to use Chinese,my English very not good)
So "stable" means everything working and ready for daily use?

Hi,
I don't think you will find someone here who can tell you "everything" is working.
Ready for daily use, it depends what you need...
I'm using daily this rom since May 10. What is working :
- Phone call (send and receive)
- Data 4G
- Sms
- Wifi 5Ghz
- Camera
- Location
- Bluetooth
- Sd card
- Access point
- File transfer to computer
- Battery is good
- Magisk - root

Just asked cause the MartinX3 ROM (I know SODP based) is marked as Alpha and this here as Stable so I wondered.. I installed it on one XZ2C and the second will follow later.. Seems good, could restore most Apps with Migrate.. But flashing is weird, does it switch Slots sometimes?

That's how A/B devices are working. Nothing weird with that.
I know it's a long shot but any chance of an SO-05K version of this ROM?

Nope. I'm currently supporting enough models. More models, more work and I don't have enough time.
Are there any plans to go to an official release of lineageos, means are there any blocking bugs open?
Thanks (also for yor great work for that device)

Ah, thanks. I havn't seen it in the 18.1 thread. Anyhow, i think i will give it a try in the next days.
Hi, a i am new here and also new to custom ROMs. Just to confirm that i managed to flash this build on my phone and so far haven't encountered any problems. But i do have a question - how do updates work on unofficial builds of LineageOS? @dtrunk90 will you provide updates to this build by OTA updates or how does this work? Or should i just switch to official build for consistent updates?

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
