Was able to get into recovery using an older version of TWRP. Flashing back to Res Remix for the time being. I have high expectations for this ROM though. I will try again when I have more time. I'm thinking i went wrong somewhere in the beginning of all the flashing and what not with the phone that is somehow affecting my bluetooth. I do believe that if I could figure that out Havoc would've worked out great. I do remember seeing an error in red on TWRP both flashes, I forget the exact term, about not finding a cache or unable to mount cache... Anyways I will keep you posted when I try this again, most likely this weekend.

Good job!
ROM working perfectly, is my favorite now. Great work, congratulations to you and all the team involved in the project.
So far so good for me. The only thing is the SafetyNet "ctsProfile: False". i dont know if something general because it's a Custom ROM or something else.

Unfortunately audio mods conflict with other audio things and break stuff
Until it's fixed in the common tree and a solution is found those audio moto mods won't work

ROMS
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy KK.
You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, Gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash
- Download the latest build
- Download Gapps
- Take a nandroid backup (optional)
- Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
- Flash ROM using any recovery
- Flash Gapps
- Reboot.
- Enjoy!
Glad u made it my friend I don't have time to maintain but subscribe here for any questions

What sound do you mean? Speakerphone?
Anyways, does this also work on Find 7s? (2k version). And how about the BSOD (screen randomly turns black or something).

The latest nightly was not returning any audio but after I tested it last night it works out it was just n3o's build environment. Everything is working perfectly. No problems with BSOD and unified storage might be coming along shortly.
Loudspeaker and ear speaker are great and loud.
The only thing we are trying to figure out is why DT2W won't work after echoing 1 to /proc/touchpanel/enable_double_tap
The sysfs is the same, it's set to 1 but fails to do anything

And only thing that I test so far that doesnt work was speakerphone, the other person cant hear me.
If you need me to test something else, let me know.
Testing is done on the 2k version Find 7 X9076 international edition.

Whichever package suits you best - Check out the options in the link from the OP - I personally use Micro because I have a majority of the apps backed up with Titanium.
You could also try AICP GAPPS though I have not tested them personally
Im gonna try dirtyflash this over cm nightly and see if it works.

This looks really promising and really neat, if I can make one suggestion, it would be to not include MAGISK in future builds until the issues are worked out with losing ROOT. Just my 2 cents, I love the idea of MAGISK but in my opinion its not perfect just yet (losing ROOT, ROOT not working, ETC). I would say to leave out so we havethe option to use SuperSU or MAGISK without having to remove one or the other from the system ROM.
Just a thought, and if you dont like it, no biggy, let me know but either way, REALLY cool to see a pure AOSP not based off Lineage!!.

Done.. Even I don't like the theory of Magisk ..or. Shall i make 2 builds, if I have time i can do that one With magisk and one with Su . What to you think of that
+1, no magisk.
I am a fan of just the included root, personally.
although, it's quite easy to flash the magisk unroot.zip
OP, snap cam updated.
OP, you cook reliable ROMs and appreciate bringing this one home to us. Never even heard of these guys, excited to give it a shot, running Dirty Unicorns atm so will be interesting comparing the two.
I know it would be a pita but I would love to see a build compatible with sprints nougat baseband. I want to try AOSP but I am dreading having to ruu the us unlocked baseband and wipe my phone Everytime I want to flash something different. This looks awesome though!
You can add me to the no magick list. I prefer superSU. Looking forward to playing with this ROM this weekend.

You don't have to ruu anything to run AOSP on Sprint. Check this thread out. You must be s-off to do this. It works, as I'm running Resurrection remix right now.

Fredgar, you only needed to do that once to unlock the hidden whatever is needed with us Sprint devices. Once you do that and flash back to Sprint ruu, you never have to ruu again (unless you want to, I do it every few weeks to reset my phone after to many os changes). This is strictly up to you, once your Sprint device is ruu to us Dev and back to Sprint, that's it, never again.

Ultimate credit goes to all the folks at the Ground Zero ROMS Team for the awesome base for which this ROM is made possible. They've done a great job of crafting a fantastic set of code.
I also have to thanks these two folks for helping me find my way through various problems along the way:
@StoneTrapper
@pappaschlumpf
Without these folks helping out, this ROM would likely never have been built. I owe these guys a tremendous debt of gratitude. Feel free to thank them for me
Also huge props to:
@Charles_l for his work on the effectively simple CameraNX MOD for great images.

I’m not really a dev, I just figure stuff out, and I get help from really great people, especially @StoneTrapper.
As such, feature requests may or may not get implemented, and it may take me quite a while to get ém done if they do. I thank you all for your patience on that.
Also, I do have a day job, so I may not be able to answer questions or address concerns right away. I thank you for your understanding on that.
All that said, I hope you enjoy the ROM

Yep, I'll keep maintaining LOS. Speaking of which, I need to update my repos to the latest stuff and put up another build. I'll try to do that tonight.

No Second Space yet. I looked into it a little bit just to see what that might involve, and there are at least 3 separate apk files for that feature, and I have no idea if frameworks needs additional code to support it. Maybe kinda complicated to implement.
Downloading Today's build now. Will flash and update. Thanks.

Not work sound in headphones! Help!
Stable
Most stable custom rom for this mobile. Tried LOS , RR ,PA but this is the best. Few tiny bugs that don't bother you at all.
no camera working
Hi, I just purchased this phone and want to immediately go AOSP, is this the best rom for that?

The best rom to do that i think is RR , but with Crazy kernel installed and the firmware in the author's post.

I have tried almost all roms on XDA for Mi Note 2 and in my poor opinion this porting of Tesla rom is great. No real life bugs, double tap to wake working, good volumes and it's very fast with excellent battery life installing Psychedelic kernel. The included camera app it's not the best but installing Camera Nx V7.2 with HDR+ or Miui camera MOD 1.5 pictures are definetly good.
Many thanks Hondajohn88 for your great job, I hope you won't stop to develop this rom

I've never put my phone in the freezer and all animations are on: what is really importartant for me in this rom is double tap to wake working, it lacks in all the new portings. Let's hope that someone manage to make it work in the Oreo roms.

This is an old rom that required an old firmware to work. Try newer 7.1's like SlimRom. You will 100% enjoy it more
Thanks for you recommendation, but the solution is not install another rom, because Tesla N Rom is perfect for my and it's the only rom 7.1.2 AOSP that incluyes double tap screen for wake up (like Miui). For this reason, i would,t resolve the problem with de headphones.

PixelExperience P GSI
An AOSP based ROM, with gapps included, and all Pixel stuffs (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, bootanimation).
Based on Android 9.0
PLS DON'T FLASH GAPPS, ALREADY INCLUDED
Warning
You'll most probably loose ALL your data, and might break your phone. Please use with extreme caution!
This ROM is not mine, I gave the credits to the autors, I'm just explaining how to install on Moto E5!!
Maybe you're wondering, what's GSI?
Basically it's the system image, you install it on a previous ROM already installed, like LOS 15.1 for us in this case, that means that it can't be installed using stock ROM, you need to install LOS 15.1 previously:
[James] https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e5/development/rom-unofficial-lineage-os-15-1-moto-e5-t3818732
[Nora] https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e5/development/rom-unofficial-lineage-os-15-1-moto-e5-t3834788
How to install
Go to the explanation of TWRP: https://www.xda-developers.com/flash-generic-system-image-project-treble-device/
What's working
Camera but a little bit darker (use open camera instead)
Torch
Data
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth
Fingerprint
Rotation
GPS
MTP
SD as Internal Storage
What doesn't work:
- Hotspot
- Graphic Glitches and Lag Fix: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hmdrznl7ajicu1b/PixelExp-lag-fix.zip?dl=0
- voLTE (not tested but I guess that is not working)
Here's a video showing that the ROM is working on XT1944-4 (Nora): https://youtu.be/sgS1nKQ3-p0
About performance even using lag fix is not as good as it should be, Is not full optimized yet, I would rate it with 8.5/10
Warning (II)
Someone reports that on E5 Play (XT1921-1) WiFi is not working, wipe Dalvik/ART in TWRP it could fix that, also it seems that keyboard it glitchy
I'm not the maintainer of this ROM, so don't report bugs here, the original thread is here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/project-treble/trebleenabled-device-development/9-0-pixelexperience-p-t3833294
This ROM was tested on Moto E5 XT1944-2/4 Nora, but it should work on James and Rhannah
You can skip setup wizard in order to prevent the messages of uncertified device, then you can try to access to google account and then register the phone, if you try to access to Google on the first boot, you won't be able to continue, it depends on how much lucky you are, keep in mind this advertisement
ROM: https://github.com/EnesSastim/Downloads/releases
To root this ROM just install Magisk Manager, then reboot to recovery and flash Magisk v17.1
Android OS version: 9.0.0_r8
Security patch level: September

You should try, it is supposed to work on all variants because of Treble support, make a backup or take the stock ROM from your variant in case of something goes wrong

Wow! I'm gonna try this out for sure! Been waiting for either HavocOS rom or Pixel Experience to come out. Will this work with fastboot booting into twrp instead of flashing it?
I have the Boost Mobile E5 Plus (XT1924-8) which has 3GB ram, 32GB rom, and the octacore 1.4Ghz snapdragon 435.
Wifi is not working, keyboard is glitchy, a popup appears for a fraction of a second before disappearing (all of this for 1921-1)

Wipe Dalvik/ART and cache it maybe would fix that issue, I read that solution for LOS 15.1 and it maybe work for Wi-fi

Yes, here in XT1944-2 we need to boot into TWRP with fastboot, so that's the way that it will work

Glad to hear that it worked, yeah I know that but unfortunately I don't know if it a issue from the kernel, or because some missing graphics drivers, I tried to fix that but without success, we need to wait until the ROM is updated because as I said I'm not the device, I just provide a way to install on Moto E5 and the fix for lag, of course I will look for something else
keep us updated, thanks...

Is not a file, is a folder, then you don't need that one, the key is to erase that folder to fix distortion
I fixed it it had turned out that I had not Flashed the modified fstab from cody

GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your V30 or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

thanks for ur work! I used crdroid to get a smooth and power-saving experience.
Is this rom likely to support signature spoofing? I want to get full support from microg
I tested this rom out for a very short time... And the only thing I noticed was that there was a slightly delay when I when to push a button in the navigation bar. For example I would go to touch the home button and there would be a .5 - 1 second delay. Otherwise I would of kept using it!!! It's one of my top rom picks right now! Thanks for making it!
The brightness of the navigation keys is not adjusted in the SmartBar.
Update, rom is official now :highfive::highfive:
