My camera on Mi Max 3 used to be nearly flawless on miui 9. However, when I updated to to miui 10, the quality of picture was dramatically changed. The photos are way worse than the used to be. Anyone else having this issue? How to fix it?
Well, I have never used Miui 9 but I find the Miui 10 Camera to be not too bad.
I sometimes use the google camera as well - but I am quite happy with the Miui 10 Camera app.
Did you try the google camera app?
When you say its worse - what exactly is worse?

Can I ask what exact version of miui 9 did you have? China Beta? China Stable, Global Stable, Global Beta?
Can you post a shot with the same background? It is otherwise close to impossible to compare...

I flashed to paranoid android a few days ago and have been having issues with the front camera. I take a picture and it works fine, but when I try to open the thumbnail image it comes up as a bunch of pixelated lines

I had this happen once before on my phone before it was rooted when I used the app that turns your camera into a lwp. I'm going to restore to cm7 and see if I have the same issue but any suggestions would be appreciated

UKB sense 4a had a similar issue until they put out the camera patch.
Yea I restored an old cm7 backup and the front cam works fine so I guess I'll just have to wait for a patch. Not like it's a huge deal since I hardly use the front cam

Also I guess it's just In the stock camera app, I've used many other camera apps successfully
A little problem that I found in Miui v 5.6.4 China (stable) & Rom miui global v5.6.9 (developer)
Is it a rom issues? or a hardware problem?
When i restarted the camera goes normally...

had you tried clear camera cache and data? in setting>apps>all>camera

on my OP9 Pro LinageOS is running and I use the GCam to take fotos. I'm happy with the quality - except for one thing: all camera lenses of the OP9 pro have problems to focus on the object I want to adjust sharply. I must click several times on the object, somtimes more than 4 times to shoot a sharp photo of the object. If I don't the object is blurry. E.G. on the attached photo I clicked 2 times on the cup in order the set the focus on it - but in spite of this the cup is still very blurry. On my former device, a Huawei p20 pro, the focus worked much more better ./. Any idea how I can improve / fix the focus issue ?

As I Digged The Whole Internet For OnePlus 5 4k60fps mod....I did not find anything....
I tried many camera changed different settings....
Made a lot of mods for the camera in magisk, twrp, and several others mods...
I couldn't get it to record 4k60fps....
And Finally i Did... Record 4k60fps...
How ..????

I use gcam A Lot Than Stock Camera...
But Even You Cannot Record 4k60fps with Gcam....
But You Can...How....???
With Another Version Of Gcam Rather Than Nikita 8.2
I used Urinyx Version And Found Out That It Can Record 4k60fps...
Just Change The Settings For Your Preference...
