ZUK Z2 Plus or Mi 5 Prime

Which one you guys preferred when it comes to user experience and camera quality also.

Zuk z2 plus!
This phone has a pretty good camera, UIis crap for stock but sexy on custom ROMs

I haven't own or used or even ever seen a Mi 5 Prime.
I have owned / used (rather using) Mi Note 5 Pro, Mi Note 4 and I have seen hands on (friends and family) Mi A1, Mi 4A / 5A and Note 5. I am also using Zuk Z2 Plus.
Now based on this experience and judging from above mentioned Xiaomi devices, I would chose Mi 5 over Z2 Plus. Reasons ?
Better Camera, since Mi 5 seems to be having 16MK with OIS. OIS does make a hell lot of difference.
Certified support for QC 3.0. Though Z2 Plus does support QC but that's via Custom ROM and an uncharted trial and error territory.
MiUi. Personally I hate it, but I can't deny the frequency of update Xiaomi has. Always uptodate security patches plus they update even their 5 year old devices to latest android version, not just security patches !!
Support for Custom ROM. Though both ZUK and Xiaomi are in same place here, for their wide range of custom rom, but combined with above mentioned points, Mi5 would be my choice !!

Simple, In which device you last remembered was on Android 6 marshmallow, Then it got 7 nougat and 8 oreo was out of the blue without expectations and wait not over Still company promised official Android P??? Yes it's zuk z2 for you even android one devices didn't get this long support

Check out the configuration for Mi 5 Prime. Its also running SD820 4/64 Configuration !!

its 3/64g only. I'm having hard time with MIUI and I can't even apply for an unlock for my device.
That's why im looking at the ZUK Z2.

This is a different issue. Your personal issue with Mi 5 Prime which you already have. But as device wise, I would prefer Mi 5 Prime over Z2 Plus as in overall.
MiUi is full of ads, yes some bugs, but at least they are on steroid with their update cycle I see. My note 5 pro isn't yet a week old, got 10GB update lol. Started with 9.5.x, did, 9.5.11/.13/.14/.15 and now doing 9.2.6. Compare that to Z2 Plus, released with Android 6.0, got one update to nougat, ZUI 2.5 and there it stopped. No patch, no nothing.
If we compare bugs, MiUi is no where close to what ZUI 2.5 had for us.

Am i correct for the factual Treble?

Are they at least brought with 8.1+? This defines them whether to be Treble-ready or not. They are to be presented for my parents.
I’ve looked for the few wikies for Treble, where its devices are benefitted for not getting bootloaders modified, to boast up the system upgrade process. And is the most important feature to me for getting my every newly ordered devices after 2019 freely upgraded for few years, more flagshipped devices like Samsung Note 10+ and Samsung Tab S6 to be summed up for over 10 years.
Finally i’ve been looking for newly out entrance-levelled devices, which also must be Treble-enabled. Happy tasting our own Treble journey!

Real shame if this is true.... Guess I will be looking at the new Nexus 4a, or a Moto for my next phone as pure android is the best.
Mind you I think Xiaomi gave up on their Android One phones some time ago, my Mi A2 Lite has become extremely sluggish in the last six months.

Apologies if this is not the right place to post this.
What do people think of the two devices? I'm curious to hear if there are people who switched from OP to Mi devices or the other way around and why.

definitely xiaomi 11 ultra if 1. you can get it in China. 2. you know how to flash to xiaomi EU rom later 3. you have checked the
band frequency in your region and it is supported at least calling and 4G. 5G I doulted. 4. If you do not mind the heaviness of

Personally, I don't like MIUI; and don't think Xiaomi will have custom ROM support as good as Oneplus on the long run. They're both pretty good phones (I haven't tried both, just assuming from specsheet), if you don't mind MIUI and custom rom support, Mi11 Ultra seems to have better specs.
Ps. I'm a OP3 and 3T user and thinking to upgrade OP9 Pro.

I went for the Oneplus 9 Pro. I actually was waiting for the Xiaomi 11 Pro or the Ultra. Bought the wife the 10 ultra and liked it. So I wanted to go for Xiaomi as well. The Ultra was just a bit over the top for me. Watched the Xiaomi event life and once I saw the two phones, the bump in the back of the Ultra and the specs of the 11 Pro basically the same as the OP 9 Pro... I clicked on pre-order for the Oneplus.

Good decision!

I saw speed test review with Xiaomi mi11 Ultra vs. OnePlus 9 Pro.
9 Pro win almost all.

Depends on you, if you want to unlock the bootloader and install custom roms, my experience with xiaomi phones was that I didn't like the idea of waiting a week for them to unlock the bootloader, even though the phone it's yours vs Oneplus you can unlock it right away, I just purchased 2 months ago a xiaomi note 9t 5g and they haven't updated, I'm still running android 10, there is no updates or support for a least this particular cell phone. So I bought OP9 Pro ( Chinese version) and I'm really happy with it.

I am coming from an amazing old Zuk z2 pro... Which is a similar size as the galaxy s22 but is missing all those new cool things...
So it is time to change and update (I think).
I am getting ahead of myself (as the xiaomi 12 has not been announced outside of China... Not that it would stop me...) but :
Which one would you prefer and why?

s22 all the way... samsung's software is way optimized than xiaomi's. also with s21 and s22 they are providing 4 years of major android updates. xiaomi provides 3 yrs i guess... i would definitely go with s22, especially s22+
