I was looking for such tool for quite some time ago...
After 1 year of searching, i gave up.
I finally got to built the file smyself :wink:
Just put these 2 files on your BA Windows folder, and make good use of it :twisted:

Well, i do apolagise for the apearent lack of interest of my previous post.
Given the fact i have been, unsuccessfuly, looking for such thing for so long i thaught maybe it vould be of interedt to the comunity.

Hi,
It worked for me, but now I cannot copy back the original files, i backed up before doing the mod.
Active Sync complains that the files are already in use... What now?

to reinstall the old files , it's simple .
just go to /windows in file explorer of ppc , and delete the files you have copied to make the change .
after soft reset , windows will automatically recreate the originally files
I am not able to delete or overwrite the files - that's the problem!
What I don't understand is, that I could replace the original files and now the ones I copied seem to be constantly in use, even after a soft reset.
I don't want to do a hard reset.

with resco explorer , i can delete these files if they not originally ....
after soft reset , windows 2003 (or se) use the originally files
using Resco Explorer:
"Action Failed
Cannot delete file 'dictprob.dat'. The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file.
Press 'Yes' to continue."

Try to use SafeMode to boot your ppc in safe mode and delete the files :/

I updated rom, becouse I found under suggestions, theese bugs, if I didn't, I did't post new version...
for cookers, the kitchen is ready and downloadable...
Very very good work Ervius. I'm downloading the new version...but also the past version was so good, fast and stable! One of the best ROM that i've used...

I deleted it, becouse I found theese bugs, and don't have now the rar to up it, but this one is the same, only have (in my test) tested bugs solved...
and if I can make 3 version of rom in few hours, it mean that I know where move my hands into the dumped rom!
nothing else: if have problem with previous, download this, if not leave that!!
OK, there's no need to keep the previous version when there's a brand new one.
Only one question: do you think is possible to restore a Spb Backup?
Very good rom but if I put 0 in ShowSIM on HKCU\Control Panel\Phone\ to hide the SIM contact, when I soft-reset, in ShowSIM on HKCU\Control Panel\Phone\ return 1 so in contacts appear both item SIM + Contact.
How can I fix it ?

I tryed to insert a new provxml to set to 0 the vaslue, but allways is 1

which voice dialer you put on your rom?
check sddaemon on "esecuzione automatica" try to delete and set showsim
The ROM seems fast and stable no bug at this time.

a little bug............ is not possible to move an sms from the folder inbox to another folder........but it possible to delete the message and then move it to another folder.

ok,the problem for showsim setted allways to 1 is into sddaemon.lnk into "esecuzione automatica"
only delete this link and set showsim by registry to 0, now works , thanks to stratos!!

I answer to myself: it's not possible to restore previous backup, it doesn't work
I'm builded the version 3 same rom as in title, but with 2 fix: xip part and A2DP fix, and only for who have password and mail accounts lost iusse with my 3.05 "normal",
a BIG thanks to:
ausdin for xip part to solve mail iusses (only for some devices...)
and...
adewidt for dll replacinf to solve A2DP iusses caused by previous xip part replacement...

the last version not, only install it and execute by hands on ppc, it found all cabs, tsk and provxml on storage card, you choice the cabs that want and it install them for you, and yes, you can insert into all roms that you want, italian and not... but here let's tell about mail lost problem that I want to know if is solved or not...

ervius,i rebooted 7/8 times, and mail account is still there as wireless association! it works!!!!!
Just a strange beaviur: when i reset i lose mails in the mail account
i don't know if it is normal, till now after the reset i didn't have the account!

for mails, I never lost them, alfer softreset, for the rest, I think the rom works well, no settings lost, after softreset...
It's all OK!
Before installation I made a hard reset by mtty procedure.
Then I set a wifi connection, a bluetooth pairing and 2 email account.
Situation after one SR in idle:
Wi-Fi settings: passed...
Bluetooth pairing: passed...
Email account: passed.
...and another SR during a wifi connection to internet:
Wi-Fi settings: passed...
Bluetooth pairing: passed...
Email account: passed.
Now seems to be ok!

but i lost the A2DP functionality...somebody can confirm about this issue ? When i activate A2DP my trinity slow all the activity until freeze at windows media start...with audio manager the system keep to going on but very slow and without audio in my headphones !
in the description of audsimm you can read about this issue and also this was resolved...can you please ask again to audsimm ?

I have the fix, but before would be shure that all works, thid afternoon, maybe the 2 roms became only one! and post new rom.
maybe my issue is due because i restored the account from a backup.
i'm not using outlook to sincronize email.
anyway GREAT Ervius, you did it!!!

Ho testato sia il wireless che il bluetooth e va che una meraviglia.
Non ci posso credere alla ducentesia rom flashata ho trovato forse la definitiva.
Dico forse perchè se puoi Ervius fanne una veramante light, senza touch solo con office e senza altri prog.
