Is that remote capable?
The one i have is not.

Shows as 1.2 installed at least.
No live TV tho, guess we have to have ITV hub for that.

I'll leave it to you british folk, I've never heard of itv.
Wouldn't just using the ITV player addon for Kodi be easier than trying to mess with getting the apk file off off of a rooted Fire TV device? Also, the MediaHHH app in the official Amazon U.S store has all the freeview channels live which includes BBC and all the Itv channels. Been using it now for 2 - 3 months and the quality is perfectly acceptable, but overall, Kodi and the Itv player plugin along with a geo-proxy is what I use for Itv player live and catchup watching and it works great.

I'd actually say Kodi has the edge right now anyway, ITV Player app does not do live TV, believe the Kodi one does.
However, finding TVPlayer.com pretty amazing.

Twitch works way better on the fire stick inside kodi as an addon, the normal twitch app lags too much on my fire stick, the kodi addon works flawlessly

The Fire version of WatchESPN works a lot better than the regular version from google play store.
Could you also provide the Fire version of Watch TNT and Tennis Channel Everywhere apks?

I don't think there is a firetv version of watch tnt, you can sideload but you'll have a banner on the top of your screen that forces the video lower and cuts off a few inches at bottom of the video
I am going to change my old MX tv box, have done some research on google, it seems that the Amazon's tv device and the Roku's tv decice, so I decided to select one from this two brands...I found a top tv boxes review one google, saying that the Amazon Fire TV got over 10,000 apps for the tv box but only 140 channels, and the Roku Ultra got over 3500 channels but not as much as app selections like the fire tv. anyone have experience on the both devices? which one is better?
FIRE TV Definitely because it's pretty much android so you can install apk files and you can get kodi and set it up for free movies!
I agree. You can add kodi and other android apps on fire which you cannot on Roku.

Beware the fire stick is great but can run a bit slow with Kodi. The fire TV box is better.

I am after the APK for the NHK World TV (Version 7.1.8 (Latest)) that is available on the Amazon Fire TV, reason for this request is they dropped Android TV Version back on 7.1.5 and disconnected the usable service. I want to be able to see if I can get this to work on Android TV but in order to do this I need the apk for the latest version 7.1.8 from the Amazon Fire TV.
