India Global Rom on chinese Version Redmi 6 Pro

Dear all,
Greetings,
I wonder if I can install the Indian rom provided on the eu.miui.com to my chinese version of Redmi 6 pro .. Chinese is bloating the phone and I can't use the phone like this. I am aware of eu xiaomi roms but i'm looking for official builds provided by xiaomi itself.

Hlw....u said no prblm.but some guys in miui forum,they told cant install indian rom on chinese version Redmi 6 pro. Which one i'll trust??

Yes, the phone hardware is same and you can install miui indian ROM safely but also remember that it is always safe to stay on stock country ROM.
Also if you return to indian ROM, you will not get miui 10 update

I'll prefer Indian rom over the Chinese one.. Cause it constantly freezes while using.. And yes its safe as LNG as you know what you are doing.. Let is know when you do it..

I've bought R6pro CN version with Indian global
Miui installed.
Now when I check my product name
fastboot getvar product
It says - sacura_ India
I must unlock bootloader if I want to get OTA update. Without unlocked bootloader I would brick my phone.
I think that you can install Indian rom only if you unlock bootloader.

Please can I see the about and baseband of your phone because my own baseband started with .TA and I heard it is a fake ROM and installing any update will brick it.

Yes I flash it indian ROM on cn ROM succesfully

Indian ROM can easily install on cn ROM. But advantage go to cn ROM , they get latest update first

Returning to stock ROM - Redmi Note 5 Global

Hi guys!
I have Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Global (4/64). If i unlock bootloader, flash recovery and Pixel Experience, can I return to global MIUI stock rom later?

Hi, is your rom global or China?
Because I flashed twrp from this forum into my global rom note 8 it keep stucked bootloop at recovery.
My note 8 was initially China rom.

Chinese rom and test in Chinese redmi note8。

No its Global Rom, bought it from Aliexpress.

I just got this device a few days ago
I was searching everywhere to install any recovery compatible with this device but nothing come up

I see eu rom posted but it does not seem to be fastboot rom. While there is no TWRP. Any one knows how to install it?

Where is it?

Yes the rom has been released on official xiaomi.eu but not fastboot rom
So i supposed someone there has found the workaround but not made public yet
Just asking if there are anyone who knows it
If its fastboot rom then i do understand that to install using twrp not yet available but thats not the case
Unlike mi11 they rollout the fastboot version

I have received 12.0.3.0 via OTA. If it has been uploaded on a site you can download zip and then install via updater (click many times on "12", then you see in 3 dots in the right corner "install package...")
