Dasaita 10.2" PX6 spoken navigation directions half words - MTCD Android Head Units General

Hi,
I noticed weird behavior with this device and navigation: if I'm using plain navigation just as it is or navigation with Radio app, spoken directions are cut off from the end.
How ever, if I'm using Spotify or some other streaming app at the same time (running at the bottom), all spoken sentences are complete without any issues. I've tested Google Maps, Tom Tom, Sygic and some others, but it does not change this behavior.
Is this known issue with Dasaita or am I missing some setting here?
Thanks!

I had the same issue.
Go to CAR setting and then to Navigation and look for where u can change to "SWITCH", then it wont cut the voice from navigation.

I tried the suggestion above, but I still get the skipped words from Waze as well as Google Assistant.
Any other suggestions?

No navigation in Bing Maps?

Hey,
I have an HD7 and i'm trying to get directions to some place, but I can't find how to do it.
I looked at some videos which clearly had directions.

If I got to a plce, I just get the about screen with the adress but nothing more.
If I hit the search button (on-screen) I get redirected to the normal bnig search as if I would've pressed the hardware button.

Is his functionality disabled in Belgium or so?
Are there any free alternatives because this is pretty lame if I have a phone with gps that can't even navigate to some place starting from where I'm standing.
There's no navigation yet. Has been rumored to come with the January update, tho.
But even if it comes with that, I doubt it'll work in Belgium from the get-go. Took Google also quite a while.
But I can't even ask for directions (without voice).
At 3:40 in the clip he has the ability to enter a start and end, I can't even dor that.
I find that pretty weak.
Is there a Google Maps application? because I can't find it in the marketplace.
I'm in the Netherlands and was also dealing with this issue for some time.
There is one "solution" though.
Go to settings -> region & language. Set the Browser & search language to a supported country (e.g. English (United States)).
Voila, directions and search will appear in Bing Maps.
Nice, that did the trick

[APP] Turn by Turn Navigation for WP7 ... WORKS FINE!!!!

I installed the trial version of the Turn by Turn Navigation for WP7 .. you can find it on the market, it works really fine, it has auto-route function and you can search by poi's.. hope on next update an autovelox function.. here is youtube video :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LELmH38iZgg
try it.. at the moment is the best turn by turn app on wp7 !!!!!
yesterday i posted this but seems deleted....
official page for more info

Does this work in conjunction with another app. I don't see any of the menus showing on their web page. It goes straight to the map.
Turn By Turn is a really polished app... The best nav app for WP7 for sure...
I have the full version and tested it today during my usual Sunday driving...
It is fast and accurate... When it indicates to turn right, but you turn left, it represents where you go, unlike many normal GPS navs that will track the route for a while before it realises you've deviated...
Some improvements?

Compass orientation off in new GMaps?

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Ever since updating Google Maps to the new version with the new UI, compass orientation is always wacky while in 3D mode. See the screenshot below to see what I mean:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
This is what it looked like immediately after tapping the location button twice. Even worse, the map doesn't even pan in the direction the dot is facing half the time, but instead moves in the opposite direction.
This doesn't seem to be a problem while in navigation mode, but it is nonetheless annoying.
Apologize if someone already posted about this but I couldn't find one. I've only tested on Rootbox, but I've used many ROMs in the past and in my experience that has never made a difference.

Yep you are correct, mine has been the same. For example completing a whole roundabout before we even get there. Moving to a field even though we're on a marked road. Moving sideways whilst driving forward. Very weird!

Question Screen turns on when shaken & Google search bar

Hello.
This is my first time using a smartphone, and I'm new to IT as well, so forgive me for being dumb.
I recently got a Nokia G20 (Model number: TA-1336). It has Android 12.
Whenever I "shake" the phone, or just move it a little, the screen turns on. I believe it has something to do with motion sensing, but I couldn't find anything in the settings to turn this feature off.
Please help me.
On another note, is it possible to get rid of the google search bar at the bottom of the home screen? Without disabling the Google app, if possible.
Thanks very much in advance.
If this has been asked before, I'm very sorry for causing trouble.
Thank you very much WilliamMike, your advice fixed the first one!
The search bar, however, I still can't remove. The internet says to either install some NovaLauncher (which I'd prefer not to) or disable the Google app (this could break some features I assume).
Sorry for taking up your time, I appreciate your help!

Any idea where to go from here?
