Guys,
I'm thinking of buying this phone.
But I want to use one sim for calls only and other for internet only (data SIM plan).
Is it possible?
Thanks!

Hey and no it hasnt killed me yet. I'm just worried about factory resetting that the problem might come back. And I also lose all the apps I have just installed. Is there an easy way to reinstall all the apps straight back on the phone if I reset?

Hi
So, I'm less concerned LOL
There is the Titanium Backup app but the paid version is the best, of course.
Then, I use the ES File Explorer app to backup only the apks, since it doesn't store your data (if you have a game, it will start from scratch) or maybe it makes and I don't know how yet.
Peace and Light.
Having Same problem
Hello,
I have just bought new S4 mini dual sim. was not sending much sms before, but now i am facing issue with SMS not sent/pending issue. SMS are not going out from my cell.i am using 2 sims and receiving sms has no issue. it works normally some time, but most of the time sms hangs before sent. if i do reboot then all pending sms gets send.
recently i removed Battery doctor/ Clean master, checking whether those apps were killing the SMS service.
please provide some proper solution rather than just doing factory reset.
I've been getting this message alot recently
It pops up in a box and says
Unfortunately nearby services have stopped
What are nearby services? And what app could be causing it? I'm stock just rooted. No mods or anything

I've noticed to only happens when I am at home on my wifi and I think it has something to do with other Dlna products possibly
i get this error even when i am not using wifi
I know this thread is quite old now and I'm sorry to be digging it up, however I have been unable to find any solution after what feels like an eternity of googling... Hopefully this helps someone else
I just tried taking the memory card out of my phone and haven't had this stupid popup for nearly a full 24 hours now. Could be the fact that I don't have a fantastic quality memory card.
Anywho! Just for some background... I had tried resetting the phone and checking that all dlna settings were off on my router which didn't help as I also had this issue outside of home.

With ROOT Remove:
system\app\AllshareMediaShare.apk
and problem gone
light ans quick solution for my case
Hy,
I got this error message "near by service stopped" each time I tried to play a song from my SDCard through "ALLSHARE" (logo attached) on my DLNA network, with the Music samsung app. If it was a song from the internal memory : no issue came in playing with ALLSHARE !
So I just Dismount->Mount my SdCard once.
How ? go to Setting->More->Memory->at the bottom if this page click on Unmount-> click on Mount and it works for myself.
I guess you have an app which calls "near by service", if it does with connexion with SDCard this could fix your issue. Otherwise, go to folder /system/app/AllShareCastPlayer.apk and click then re-install it !
I guess other app calls this service. I can help only through trouble I faced

i used : Nearby service 2.4 beta (arm)
3. using Lucky patcher install the Nearby service 2.4 beta "AS SISTEM APP"
4. reboote the phone if Lucky patcher doesnt
5. check if it has worked for you

Sincerely, thanks to you. I had the problem on Samsung S4 T835. It solved it.
Installing Nearby Service 2.4 beta as system app solved my Smart Things bugs (not connecting after root).
I won't list everything I tried. (wlan dlna disabling doesn't work on Samsung Tab)
Working on Android 9/root+magisk.
I am constantly seeing the *net_scheduler* wakelock, does anyone have a clue what I can do to reduce it? I tried deleting data from play services and greenify most apps, but it still appears. It came out of nowhere after updating to OOS 2.3.6.
Since you have root. Set it to 7200 seconds ... Its safe to set ...with amplify via xposed

Any way to manage this without Amplify? I find Xposed to be more trouble than it's worth.

great, I'm not the only one. i found that this wakelock usually pops up when my mobile data is enabled (LTE). this doesn't happen to me on WiFi. I usually just disable my data now when I don't use it, helps keep this wakelock at bay.

I have a Note Edge N915F. In 10 hours I have 64 wakes and 592 blocked. But still it comes up in red on Amplify.
Delay time in Amplify is set to 10800 and everything works fine so far.
I can't play any online games in my mobile
After 5 to 6 minutes the network drops and the game fails to connect to the server.
Is there anything I can do for this?

Well, don't rule out a server's problem. COD mobile, for example, has that problem.

I think you need to be more specific.
I have problems with network too but only for COD Mobile.
I have no problems with any other games.
I had the same problem with PUBG too but I am not playing that game anymore since COD was released.
If that's your problem then it's not your phone's fault.
It could be your game's server.

I see.
Have you tried with another carrier, if possible?
If the problem persists, I think it's the smartphone.
UPDATE:
Maybe you should try CloudFlare's 1111 app from Play Store.
Maybe it will help.

What is this app for
As I read about it in playstore it offers a private vpn service
How could this help with unstable network?

It's a DNS app.
Just like Google's DNS it's offer a fast DNS server.
Its VPN is an optional.
It sometimes helps my gaming experience especially with COD Mobile.

I used this topic : https://www.androidauthority.com/how-to-enable-rcs-messaging-1047089/
But with chinese phone it doesnt work, still confirming, but Nothing append after a very long time, so I 've deactived the RCS property.
Activity Launcher Method
Apparently, there's a method to activate RCS in Google Message.
https://youtu.be/Z9F3PRNy6eU
My friends (non-Huawei users) have been able to activate the RCS using this method but I can't in my Mate 30 Pro.
The option "Set RCS Flags" does not seem to show up. Is anyone also facing the same problem? Is it just my Mate 30 Pro facing the problem or the model device itself? Do help. Thank you.
