I think it's normal considering Magisk is an exploit and vulnerabilities that cause exploits gets fixed with security updates. It's just Google doing its job. You'll probably need to wait for a new Magisk update.

It seems like the stock boot image you chose to patch is extracted from an incremental OTA update package. You need to get it from a full OTA package.

Magisk canĀ“t process this boot so is not a full boot image.

I made these after doing the OTA.

Downgrading from Pie CRLI to Oreo firmware?

Hello forum,
I just got the s9+ and decided to install a custom ROM, so installed TWRP, did all the wipes, and installed light rom and the add on file, I didn't update bootloader or anything like that, the rom is good, but at the moment, I hate the ui, so for my own reasons I want to return to Oreo.
I attach the screen shot from the phone info app.... So is it possible???
Thank you! (Also attached screenshot too)

Yes, just flash stock with ODIN 3.13.1, and use CSC not HOME_CSC
Get stock from sammobile or samfirm tool

Debloater problems

I've successfully used Debloater 3.90 on both KitKat and Lollipop (ATT Note 4) to stop OTA upgrades. I've tried to use it on Marshmallow but I get the included screenshot (the screenshot is for only one file, not related to OTA, but every effort to block/disable gives the same error message):
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then I tried Debloater 4, but it won't read the phone at all. Update: It won't read ANY of my phones, but knows there are connected.
Anyone have any ideas? And, yes, I know that OTA updates for the ATT Note 4 stop at marshmallow, but I'd still like to get Deboater 3.9 or 4 working properly.

MI flashtool and Original rom flashing. Orange Fox or root, has trouble with android 11 +12 access.
Checkout in Mi Flashtool reblock bootloader!!
That was my way by this probs or you install another unstable rom (lineage) its another way.
This Smartphone Hardware and Android Versions to new, for a stable work with root and recovery tools or custom roms, i hope the developers solve this probs in the next year.

I found this in twrp official web site. I guess this is the reason that every time i try to install twrp and after that, my device get bootloop.
So how can i disable dm-verity?
(Sorry, my English may bad because we don't use that in our country)

Question I THINK I just figured out how to install incremental OS while rooted

If you are having trouble, give this a shot, i'm not sure if this was a glitch or i got lucky (or both?)
Uninstall Magisk from Manager
Reboot
use this workhorse of a tool to flash stock images
reboot
update
