Samsung Pay Update

I just received an update for Samsung Pay that makes it "M OS" compatible. It asks to update by February 16 so hopefully this is means it's coming soon. Fingers crossed. ?

Yes just the battery.

Now that the Feds are involved (CPSC), I will be shocked, and presently surprised, if they move this quickly. I dropped back to my developer edition of the Note 3 (custom ROM and custom kernel) to wait it out. Love the N7, even without an unlocked bootloader. My local corporate Verizon store has been very helpful. Not particularly worried about successfully trading in my N7 when the fixed ones are in stock, regardless of some "return date". Not sure if a local store manager, or someone higher up the food chain would want to be on the business end of a federal recall.

right, we are given the info and we update our customers with what we are given. web or not samsung has given us an estimated date in which they are going to be here, now this can be altered but the CSPC as stated by the other user earlier.
I just assisting with what I am given especially since I am a note user myself and would like to get down to getting room so I can have me some pure android.

The lack of coordination with the CPSC is also affecting carriers' ability to help with the recall. The WSJ reports that while Samsung has sent an unknown number of Note 7 units to mobile operators, they aren't allowed to distribute them until they receive approval from the CPSC.

If what the Verge is reporting is accurate - that is good and bad. It would mean that most likely Verizon stores have new notes already - bad news is they have to wait on the CPSC to release them - which could take who knows how long.

You and me both. I just switched to verizon and got the note 7 about 3 days before the recall was announced. Very disappointed with this situation.

Do you think they will be any cheaper now?

I have read in some other places that android 10 somewhat downgraded the camera, specially the front one, Maybe this update fixes that?, let's see how it goes

N975W here, only just got the March update, it'll be a few weeks before I get this unfortunately

Camera s20 features like single take, better Night mode and pro video will be availeble with next update. Samsung confirms it. I stay until last week on android 9.i update to android 10 and i notice that camera in pro mode has better iso from 800 max now has 3200 and long exposure max 30 sec wich is huge. More light abd better night photo.

It's going to take a month to cross the pond to the states period.

is the update out to manually install on my non-rooted Exynos Dual Sim International unlocked version? N975FD. Will i get regular OTAs later once i manually update? Battery life is horrible after the March update

Most likely security patch

I got this update through Verizon and my battery life has been terrible. The phone is also getting very hot. I had no issues with the July software.

Thx. I just got the update yesterday. So far, I don't see any problems. The battery life seems to be normal.

It's funny though, I bought the watch upon its release, being tempted by the ECG feature, which, a year later still has not been officially released in Europe, marketing at its best, I give that to Samsung [emoji28]

I reached out to the developer of the app (that Samsung made seem like was theirs) and was told that Google was blocking the usage of the Youtube app in the US... smh

Like you, I am also waiting for the LTE version after having changed the CSC to Korea.

That said, what does "best features" mean? We're only talking about what... 4 features? 2 of which have already been confirmed, right? 1 or 2 of which were promised at release?

Blood oxygen (SpO2) is still blocked by software in 5.5 for the Active 2. If you mean vO2max it's not the same thing, this is just a number it calculates using heart rate, distance, speed etc. after you've done a workout.
