Hi all,
I noticed that sometimes when I try to open the secure folder on my Note10+, the phone does not show the unlock options, but just a blank screen with a back button. The back button can be tapped but does not do anything. I am not able to swype down from the top and bring up the notification bar. When I turn off the screen and/or lock the phone by pressing the power button, I can unlock the phone itself, but it then takes me back to the blank page. So far the only way I am able to get out of this situation is rebooting the phone using the power button (which still responds).
I have the firmware up-to-date (september security patch). It is an unlocked european version, and I use a pattern and fingerprint recognition.
I was able to screenshot the state. The screenshot itself is already placed in the secure folder. See attached.
Anyone else who encountered this issue?

Short question: when G3 is protected with pin or password and off & locked, can you still start camera without "logging in" ?
I want to change phone from Note 3 which does not allow it, and this is "must have". Thanks!
If you put your phone to sleep by power button and hold volume down when screen is off it will automatically start the camera. And when you are about to enter your pin you can see a little camera icon on the bottom right which enables you to open your camera without logging in but it wont let anyone to access your photos without entering that pin or password
Yes you can hold volume down if you enabled the shortcut keys or swipe the screen left as seen below.
my oneplus 3 (rooted) is not accepting my swipe pattern and does not give me the option to enter a pin code after a forgotten swipe pattern. i called oneplus but the person i spoke to said the only option was to wipe the phone. she would not allow me to talk directly to anyone with any technical expertise.
when i power on the phone everything seems normal until i get to the swipe pattern screen. first ,the bootloader screen (i think, the screen where you either press the start button to start the phone, or use the volume buttons to select options like poweroff/restart/recovery etc) shows up and then the oneplus logo comes up with the 'powered by android' at the bottom. then it shows the two white dots orbiting the red circle and then the screen to enter the swipe pattern appears with 'to start android, draw your pattern' at the top. i have made a few failed attempts, but it is now counting down, saying you have 6 attempts before the phone is wiped.
about two weeks ago i began having an issue that occurred maybe 2 or 3 times since. i would pull my phone out of my pocket and it would be powered off. after i turned it on, the initial swipe pattern would not be accepted, but the second swipe was always accepted.
i have tried entering recovery mode (teamwin), but the swipe pattern fails here also.
is there any way to get the phone started without losing my data?

Don't think you can do anything. Haven't encountered this what did you do with your phone? Are you on the latest TWRP? Latest OOS?

i had not changed anything on the phone recently. the swipe pattern has been the same since i got the phone over 2 years ago. i believe i was on the latest twrp, and i had a notification for about a week or two that there was an update available, but did not get around to downloading and installing it yet.
Good night, I was listening to music on youtube on my Mi A2 Lite 4GB Ram / 64GB storage and when I was tapping the screen to exit youtube the smartphone did not respond anymore, it crashed on the home screen, touching the screen it does nothing, not it releases the access to my security pattern, does not slide the screen to unlock, I pressed the restart button, it restarts, but it does not give access to anything, it is on the home screen without being able to access anything, someone could help me in this situation, what to do? Is there a way to fix it?
Try to press and hold the power off menu and choose safe mode. If the device works normally in safe mode, it should be a software problem with one of your apps.
Edit: Do you use any custom launcher?
My LG G8 (LM-G820UM) Updated to Android 10 within the last month, and since the update I've noticed an issue with my device failing to actually lock when pressing the power button. The screen will go black, but when pressing it again to wake the device goes to my home screen rather than showing the lock screen. This issue is intermittent and I cannot pin down what causes this. My 'Secure lock settings' show that pressing the power key should instantly lock the phone. I do not have face unlock on, but I do have Hand ID and fingerprint unlock on.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated in helping to find the root of this issue.
Okay, so suddenly when I use my finger print it is asking for my PIN. When I input the PIN the screen turns black and my lock screen simply reappears. So I use my PIN or finger print again and it turns black again and brings me back to my lock screen again.
Now and again previously to today after using my fingerprint it would ask me for my PIN occasionally That's not unusual. This time however it just goes black and kicks me back to my lockscreen. I proceed to repeat the process and same issue.
I can't access my phone via PC either since I can't change the settings for file transfer on the lock screen. Just wants my credentials again.
I forget which rom I am on since I can't get into download mode or recovery.
Any ideas? This may sound like a dumb question, but since this is never happened before, is there another way to reboot my phone without having the ability to access my reboot options? Holding down on power does nothing.
Okay, so on a hunch I long pressed the power button for two minutes. It ended up rebooting and when it loaded some of my app icons were grayed out and I got the message "App Not Installed" when I tried to open any of the grayed apps up. I rebooted again and everything is back to normal.
Also, when I plugged my phone back into my PC I got the authorization prompt again to allow connections and it fixed my device not showing in ADB. Does this key expire sometimes?
Just wanted to let everyone know the issue seems to be fixed. Well, for now.
