Honor has equipped the View 20 with dual-frequency GNSS, which it uses on the GPS network. The technology works by receiving two signals from satellites rather than one, which should increase location accuracy. We can confirm this with the GPS Test app, which determines that our review unit can achieve a satellite fix with up to four metres accuracy whether indoors or outdoors. The latter is typical for a modern flagship smartphone, but the former gives the View 20 the edge over many of its competitors in this regard.
We subjected the View 20 to a bike ride to test its GPS accuracy against the Garmin Edge 500, a professional navigation device. Our review unit generally recorded our route accurately and performed even better than the Garmin did in certain sections. However, the View 20 struggled in built-up residential areas and consistently deviated by around 1-2 metres from our actual route. Both devices cut some corners too. Overall, the View 20 is accurate enough for all general navigation tasks.

Shen Yiren said on Weibo: “The 10x hybrid zoom version uses dual-frequency GPS.” The dual-frequency GPS function provides more accurate positioning. Another Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi, was the first to apply the technology to mobile phones. The Xiaomi Mi 8 supports L1+L5 dual-frequency positioning and its accuracy is at least 3-5 times better. It is more resistant to multipath and reflected signals in urban scenes and has higher immunity to interference.

One of the reasons I got a View 20 was the improved GPS compared to my old phone.
For things like satnav using Maps, and games like PoGo and Ingress it works fine. Accurate location to within a metre or 2 and relatively fast lock-on.
Compared to my previous phone (LG G5), the improvement is clear as night and day.

Redmi note 9s has snapdragon 720g.
Which supports dual gps.
Unfortunately on stock miui and
European Miui newest
Gpstest does not detect dual gps or galileo.
There are only l1 gps, glonass and Chinese.
I have root.

Hi all.
I have read about voices of spO2 sensor on Mi Band 5.
I bought global version on the mazon (I'm from Italy) and of course, there is no mension about spO2 sensor.
I'd like to know if you know anything about this sensor. No rumors, just solid news.
There is an hidden sensor non activated for some strange commercial reason or it's just a fake?

They do seem to share firmware but I don't think that they would lock hardware , I am also wondering about NFC.

I know that most of website report that the mi 10t has a barometer inside ( pressure sensor ), but on some sites it does not mention it and it is important for my paragliding app.
So, could some mi10t owner be kind enough to send a screenshot of the sensor tab in the CPU-Z app, so i can be sure, and i will also know what kind of pressure sensor it is ( bosch bmp285 perhaps ).

Hey Rolandmo, some of those generic phone specification websites do show Mi 10T / 10T pro as having a barometer sensor.
I just checked on CPU-Z on my Mi 10T pro and theres no barometer sensor shown.
On Xiaomi's product page there is no barometer listed too.
