As far as i know the bands are compatible. Vodafone UK uses the n78 band 3500mHz which is used in south korea too. The phone came with "LG U+" CSC (LUC) but i changed it to KOO (Unbranded) with SamKEY tool. No knox trips and it lost all the bloatware from the carrier. The things which are not working are: Samsung Pay (don't care), Wifi- Calling (Option is not visible but i get VoLTE) and most importantly 5G.

Flashing the latest starwars released firmware for sm-n976n changed my csc to KOO from KTC. But 5G will not work outside Korea. I think it does not support n78 5g band. In Gsm arena you can check n78 is not mentioned there.
Due device Carrier Policy 5G is not enabled outside from Korea. Also in Korea could be different 4G CA Combinations defined to hardware. You can help to understand supported combinations by contributing this info here: https://cacombos.com/contribute

Hello
I am from Algeria ( North Africa ) and my mobile is an ORX ( Slovakia CSC ). I wanted to get android 10 on my phone. Android 10 was not released nowhere except in those two countries so I had no other choice.
Hi, I wanted to ask if converting the model from F to FN and the other way around, can there be reception problems or worse signal? for example, I am Italian, if I install the Indian software do I have the same results as the fn itv software for Italy? thanks in advance
Yes it will cause issues, for one you will lose NFC functionality.. the update should be next month for everyone so just chill and wait..
Ok thank you

Just change BRI to TGY or CHC if you want to check latest updates of Hong Kong or China CSC respectively.

There is no bloatware whatsoever on this model. This model does support WiFi calling and VoLTE but its whether your Service Provider supports it. There is no in call recording app native.
I have the S20+ Hong Kong version with the TGY csc, but I cannot get volte and vowifi to work. I am on Orange Romania and I know for a fact that my carrier does support these 2 features. I even have the option to turn them on in settings, but they do not do anything. As for 5g, this phone doesn't have the bands used in my country, nor the mmwave hardware so guess I'll never have it. But is there anything I can do to get volte and vowifi working?

If you are getting volte option in settings then you just need sim of operator which supports volte feature. Like I'm in India. If i do not have volte feature in my phone then I cannot make calls to anyone with my Jio sim(operator- Jio). But there are other operators like Vodafone, Airtel. These also support volte but also work without volte

Hello all!
As we know from S20 and S21 threads, the only eonly viable option to enable clear call recording is to flash XID, Indonesia firmware on our Exynos smartphones. This year the XID version is Snapdragon, so it won''t be a good decision to flash software meant from another hardware.
Is there any other region with native call recording and Exynos so we can flash that firmware instead? None of the call recording works if not enabled from the firmware as well since you will only hear you talking.
Thanks in advance!
Samsung announced that the new S22 will have 5 yeasr software updates, thanks to the new policy to reduce the number of firmwares for the different countries

You can change CSC to SEK (Ukraine). It has native call recording function. but you can't use Samsung Pay.
Can SEK firmware be flashed directly to the device without SAMkey? When XID was on Exynos I could flash directly since my terminal is not branded.
No, change possible only via Samkey, because both regions present in one Europe FW.

Enabling Native Call Recorder through CSC
Hello, Thanks to this XDA thread and some other sources I was able to compile a list of CSC codes that enable native call recording on Samsung ROMs. This is the list: Indonesia (XID) Vietnam (XXV) Ukraine (SEK) Israel (ILO) India (INS) Thailand...

I recommend using the autoSync app for automatic backup of recordings. Works very well
i understand that CSC cannot be changed to Ukraine since both regions use same FW and multi CSC file. But will it work if i simply buy ukranian sim card off of ebay and put in phone? will phone change CSC from EUX to SEK then?
I read, if you change CSC to SEK, Samsung Health not work properly.
(Or Samsung Pay? And credits on Samkey a little bit expensive.
I lost the guarantee, when i change the CSC?)
Call Recorder - Cube ACR app seems to be work, but the caller voice is very weak

Hi,
I have tried looking on OnePlus official site and googling but im coming up with very limited info. Im in the UK and want a UK version with a global ROM.
I have seen that there is the CPH2449 is apparently the official UK version but also that PHB110 can work in the UK as it has global rom.
My question is, does anybody know or is there anywhere i can check the differences in models ?
Both the CPH2449 and PHB110 apparently come with the global rom so what's the real difference ? OnePlus recommend the CPH2449 variant but i can find the other much cheaper.

You can buy it much cheaper and then:
Deal with call restrictions
Deal with bricking your device
Deal with losing both your IMEIs
All three are down to changing your ROM. I'm just astounded that you, as a UK citizen, are trying to save what amounts to two maybe three tickets to the cinema.
Good luck.
