Didn't try it friend. I'm still B370 & waiting for official OTA.
But according to their changelog there's no app twin function on it.

But not all things are included in chnagelog.
They assume it is already there so they will not add it
This broke my phone
Now the power button doesn't work. Phone restarts often . And dictionary words are missing. I don't know what else is broken. Anyone else experiencing this? How can I fix this?
TWRP
How can I install this update over TWRP ? I have got the Full-OTA from FirmwareFinder.

Hey! I will get this device on this Sunday, I am planning to install Validus Oreo. I will be sure to update baseband to 1.76 and to enable Volte on stock. Anything else?
I heard that now the device will not get OTA, so will I be able to update my new device directly? Or I need to flash ROM manually. It's bootloader is locked.

Part I : Nothing else.
Part II : You will get OTA update notification automatically as you connect the phone to Internet, you don't have to manually flash stock rom updates.
And you need to unlock your bootloader.

Stock and Update

I have recently flashed Stock Firmware for moto g5 ( XT1677 ) how to get updates after that?
The bootloader is unlocked.
Can anyone suggest a way?
I'm quite sure it will run into a bootloop if you install an ota update while the bootloader is unlocked.
No, an unlocked bootloader will not broke ota, it will update without any problems
Still, my security patch level is in January 2017 amzn variant, I think its August patch running on... Can anyone suggest how to update to that?

Downgrade Security version

Guys, currently I'm on October 1st, 2018 Security Patch. I have the system image of April 1st, 2018 for flashing through fastboot, both android 8.0.0.
If I flash it, will my phone get stuck in bootloop or will it work?
My last phone got hardbricked because I unintentionally flashed android 6 Marshmallow after updating to Nougat, so now I'm afraid of hardbricking my new smartphone just because of the security patch.
Please someone give me an advise. (If there would be a link for a system image of october 2018 I'd appreciate haha)
My device was on Oct security before I unlocked it, I am now on the stock April patch firmware with no issues. However, I wish to relock my bootloader now and this is not possible because there is no later firmware than April available. When trying to lock, it fails with security downgrade.

Should be fine, I am on OPSS27.76-12-25 which is April. The October patch was on my device before unlocked.
Although there is an extra S in this one. Mine is OPS27.
Could you show where the junior shared the link?.

Sorry, he didn't share on the forum yet, however it's in his afh. He took from the last link I shared here.
If you pay attention to the image below, which is my smartphone settings, the version has 2 "S", and it's the stock one. I've never unlocked this phone. So it's okay, the october patch has the second S.

I see, so the other S could be something with the new security patch. Unless we have different Z2p. Mine is UK one, but I am sure I read somewhere that there is only one line of firmware for this device, unlike my G5 plus before this that had several versions of the G5 plus.
Yours is Brazil retail mine is Vodafone UK which is a different software Chanel. But the device is same I am sure.

December Security Patch available

Finally the December Security Patch is here.
First on EU version this time or both EU and GLOBAL?
Now to wait until 31st December or mid January for next update, hope this time we get Android 10.
- white noise on low media volumes is still not fixed
- fingerprint sensor seems more accurate with night light/screen protector
- wifi dropping issues have been fixed
i hope we'll get android 10 update till 31st December.

Does anyone with TWRP installed have any problem installing this December update? I have TWRP and when I try to update it always says installation problem.
Is there anything I should be doing?

It's normal, you can't update with a TWRP installed, the solution Is simple, reinstall the stock ROM (from fastboot) and you're good to go.
Patch arrived in France too.
Greece too. No noticeable difference to Nov update.

You could just flash the stock boot.img in twrp for your specific firmware version and thats it, update no problem
Am I the only one who's not able to hear audio calls/use microphone in call after the update?
Edit: nope, it's my cellular network provider that sucks. No worries.
