Look at the photo. That is from my s8. It had a back button vertical bar on either sides acting as back button. I very much require it due to large screen of note+
How do i enable this?

I don't remember S8 has this bar as well. But it looks like One Hand Operation +. Did you install this app?

Saw a youtube video. This is also on the note 10. I believe in the same location.

In the tutorials I have seen and on my Note 10.1, S-Note pages flip like a book when you swipe them. However, on my new Note II they don't when in View Mode as they should. I can only move between pages by clicking the arrow buttons.
Is there some setting I have to enable to activate the page flip?
Swiping pages only works when you're in view mode. Edit mode requires the arrow presses.

Fully aware of this. Page swipe is not working in View Mode.
That is awfully weird. Have you tried clearing data in app manager? Be sure to sync your notes prior.

Yes I have tried everything. It simply does not work. It is odd.

Can I bump this? Despite numerous system and rom flashes I still cannot get pages to flip in S-Notes by swiping my finger. Can anyone else get this working? I must be doing something wrong.
Hi, I'm not very knowledgable in camera functions, but I noticed there is a central band about 1cm in breadth that runs across the screen which is lighter than the rest of the screen and is very obvious when it is dark, and the band remains when in shot pictures too, if there is no flash.
I'm using a rooted international SGN2, no custom roms - used Odin method for rooting.
That band is really annoying, especially when I want to take pictures without the flash.

Thank you for any information, on how to remove this band, if possible.
Install other camera apps fron playstore and checkout is that related to hardware or software?
sent from my GT-N7100. Press thanks if I helped you...
I have tried using 3rd party camera app. It still appears during dark.
As with the original cam app, the band disappears when there's flash.
So problem with your hardware of camera. Go to service centre and replace it.

I see. Thank you very much for your help.
I'll do that. Sorry for the delay in the replies.
Kind Regards.
Is it possible to run 2 different apps on screen at the same time , like say youtube and chrome . I'm not sure if the phone has the feature
Well, there is an option to run two instances of one app. So you can use two whats app accounts. And with Nougat update you can set split screen in "Recent Apps" menu by dragging one app to the top of the screen and choosing an other one for the bottom of the screen.
Possible in Android 7.

You have two options.
1. Open both apps, as you said YouTube and chrome. Click back/finger print soft button a bit for multi tasking window, click top of one app and drag till the taskbar and release your finger, there you have it.
2. Open the above two apps, or more. Slide the bottom part of screen to reveal on screen navigation bar if you have disabled it. Click and hold multitask button for a bit. That's it.
Not sure why but the software for the S-pen doesn't work for the always on display and the pop up that came up when you took the pen out of the phone when the display was already on. It doesn't come up either but the phone makes the noise that it's supposed to when the S-pen is removed. I'm guessing I updated some Samsung apps that affected this. Anybody have this happen. The pen still works when I open up Samsung Note manually or hit draw from a screen shot.
Try to trun off always on display and see if that works.

Also check your S pen settings. I turned the screen off memo option off and phone reacted as you described.

Hi! I noticed lately that everytime I pressed recents on my A5, there's this layers of gray on the status bar? It doesn't only appear on the recents but on the home screen as well. And it only appears on the home and recent screen... Is this a burn in? Help please.
Here are the links of the screenshot:
You can't see it clearly but try to tilt your screen

Yes, by what you described, that is most likely and amoled burn-in. I also have one...
That's normal. For whatever reason, the software is made that way. You can download a screen test anytime, or open a black picture and see that it's fine. Also, some launchers hide it, but I don't remember which ones.
