My usb port doesn't work, I can't use odin to flash system. It's possible to install official firmware for A520f XEO using only TWRP?

You could flash the system and boot partition to stock. Theoretically, if you made a zip with stock firmware, you could do bootloader and everything. But that could be risky.

I need bootloader, boot.img, cache.img etc. My device cannot boot, it stucks on samsung-galaxy-note-10.1-2014 edition logo, except in one of the ROM's it boots only once and gets error like - com.system... stopped working.... Thankyou.

Make sure you have exited Kies before you flash as this will screw up the flash...
I'm assuming your tablet isn't rooted? If so a custom rom won't flash anyway as the signature verification will stop it...
If you have got root then flash TWRP, load a custom rom onto your sd card and flash that....

I can flash anything except official firmware, Custom ROM's does not work, I think it is MMC damage or bootloader, I dont know what it is.

You need to know what firmware you were on and what the highest firmware you tried to flash was as this will affect what you can and can't flash...
Again, make sure you have exited Kies as this will affect the flash...
I haven't done anything to my phone since I Unlocked my Bootloader, Upgraded to MM and Unlocked again, then installing PaulPizz from July (it's an outdated version, I know).
The thread I used to put on MM, put on the PD1 modem. I need to upgrade to PF3. I don't see a thread on how to do it Can someone explain to me how that works? Do I need to re-flash the full firmware and re-unlock or just the modem file? Please provide detailed instructions. Thanks.
Just download the partial update from here and flash via ODIN.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67481370&postcount=1403
Note you are flashing a kernel as well so you may have to reflash whichever kernel you prefer.
BTW I'm still running Jasmine 6.0

If you're presently on a unlocked and rooted rom this will not lock the boot loader or require reroot.

I'm going to need better instructions.
I downloaded N910VVRU2CPF3_PartialFirmware_PatechedKernel.tar.md5.7z
Extracted it via 7zip
Booted into Download Mode
Connected my cable to my computer
Started Odin
Clicked AP, loaded N910VVRU2CPF3_PartialFirmware_PatechedKernel.tar.md5
Clicked START
It Failed.
Can you help me?
EDIT: OK, this is odd. It failed the first time and went through the second time. It worked. Thank you, @freduser .
No problem
Aren't pd1 and pf3 the same thing?

Did you ever figure anything out? I just recently found one of these and am trying to mess with it before it gets locked out. Developer options are disabled and there is no way to turn on adb. Nothing will flash through odin as well.

I have a Samsung A7 2017 (SM-A720F) brought from UAE having latest Oreo update. While I tried to flash an INS version over this Odin detects the phone. But after hitting start it takes some time and gives error like failed. I also tried to root it with CF-AutoRoot file. Those also have the same error. Developer mode, USB debugging and OEM unlock are ON. Trying with windows 10 + Odin 3.13 (latest). Any solution ?
Combination file successfully flashed. But, still not able to flash another country File. Can I proceed with original country file (i.e XSG stock firmware) ?
Please help me

Root with twrp and magisk, cfautoroot is OG in my opinion . Try flashing just CSC_home or whatever it is called in Odin.

I'm able to flash Combination file, original country (XSG) file and also flashes TWRP. But, I can't get access to TWRP after flashing it. Always it replaced by Stock recovery. And apart these 3 files nothing flashes, including CSC file alone...

When you flash twrp, untick auto reboot in odin. Boot straight into twrp without booting system.

It won't help change the csc. But hadesrom oneui has a huge selection of csc's you can select when flashing it.

If I flashed HadesROM OneUI with 'INS' CSC can I able to downgrade it with INS Stock firmware in future ?
Is the binary thing really need to consider while flashing that ?
PS : I looked on HadesROM. It is temptating. But, the real problem is with VoLTE which affects the network badly here... The VoLTE only network is a large mess here... And thanks for your unconditional Help & Support :fingers-crossed:

It should work to change csc with Hades and then flash stock. Just make sure you don't reflash csc then because it could change.
I see that TWRP users have experienced a touchscreen issue, so they need to use an OTG cable with wireless mouse. Does anyone know when will the touch issue be fixed?

But you can use the OTG touch twrp
Arobase40 said:
I experimented this no touch TWRP but it is mostly buggy excluding the non touch issue there is a bigger issue which is that once installed you can't get out from it as it bootloops into this recovery mode. Flashing a stock recovery won't change anything.
You will have to totally restock your phone from scratch and then re root it and restore all your apps and data !!! ^^
I found out the twrp tree for A52 4G and was able to build a TWRP but obviously I can't test it.
I'm not able to build a twrp for A52S 5G for now as there are missing many kernel modules and other stuffs so I have to build them from kernel source code. So for now I'm working on the device and vendor config files...

Unfortunately, I have tried to reinstall stock firmware, but it failed. Looks like my bootloader became locked. Odin software showed "FAIL". There was a message that I could barely read, so that was the reason it failed to reinstall the firmware.
What should I do now?

So you got stuck in a bootloop after installing twrp. Have you tried just extracting the stock boot.img from firmware AP file and flashing it with odin? I really don't get it why you had to reinstall everything to stock. It's not necessary to reflash every partition if you only messed up one

While the phone is completely off, press vol up and vol down buttons at the same time and then plug in the usb cable to the computer. I had that happen too, when the device fails to boot it automatically puts you into download mode and it says that the OEM LOCK is on. You just have to reboot to download mode manually.

You don't need to unlock bootloader to flash stock fw with Odin.
Your problem is most likely related to something else.
Where did you download your fw?
Have you tried different cables?
What Odin version are you trying?

A Locked bootloader will prevent you from installing any custom things, like recovery or custom roms. It will allow you to install stock firmware via odin. Use Odin 3.14 to install firmware downloaded from here. Use the AP, Bl, Cp, and CSC_OXM files. That will get you started from scratch, all previous data and stuff will be deleted.
