Recently I updated my tv to R851-TO2-LF1-V999 through local upgrade
Now can I upgrade R851 to RT51
And so what is the difference between R851 and RT51
Latest firmware is V8-R851T02-LF1V999.018697.

Read in other threads how to flash IMG (PKG.BIN or similar).
I beleive you must unrar and inside must be SINGLE file,which copy to USB 2.0 FAT32 .
TV should be Off and must press and hold TV power button, untill flashing start.
Sometime need to change USB.

I hope you are fine, I have 2 Smart TV´s TCL 43A423, Accidentally, In one of them, It was set with resttricted mode and the code was forgotten, It cannot be remembered, While trying to insert the code 1234, it gives a very very short of time trying to enter it in order to unlock it and its been a hard time
I was wondering and there should be a way to reinstall locally the adnoird Tv software, thoguh a USB drive, Any response will be much appreciated or please route me to the correct threat in case this is not the one

Hi,
Thank you for your response, my TV is not a 41 chasis, based on the code, however, I researched according a instruction manual and states the same code 0423 but for parental control, do you think, will work to unlock restricted profile since this is different from parental control?? The chasis I got is V8-R851T02-LF1V634. 018640, Also I have tested by cresting a restricted profile and entered the code and it didnt worked

codes.
You have R851T02 platform.
I suggest you to reflash firmware with IMG file.
