Flashing software to NA Region? & unlock?

Hi guys, I am not new to android, I daily flash my Samsung Nexus via CWM all the time.
However, My dad recently went to india and i believe got his phone unlocked their for Indian sim cards to work.
Now if they flashed a indian rom on the phone as well, How do i flash the native BELL rom? also, How do i unlock this?
I read around one has to download multiloader and find the Bell Flash file, or whatever the stock one is that Bell gives out in Canada.
Can anyone help me with this? I'm new to this area of XDA. Basically I need a Bell stock flash file, and need to network lock his sim card back to Bell again.

Ok So from reading around it seems like I should do the following:
-Download Multiloader--- Done
- Download Bell Software from SAMFIRMARE, Im downloading the Firmwares for GT-S8500M - Canada (Bell)? is that right one?
- Follow http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1759424 guide to flash my firmware,
and then I should have my dads phone back and on the Bell network right in Canada?

Please give more details so that it is easier to understand you and offer solution.
If I guess right, your dad's phone is Samsung WAVE 8500? And that the phone is completely unlocked now?
If the answer is affirmative, then there is no need to lock it back again to Bell Network. An unlocked phone can be used with any SIM card.
And as the phone was originally of BELL network, just go to Sammobile and download the Canadian firmware for S8500 (WAVE).
Flash your phone with the downloaded firmware and start using it. You don't have to LOCK for it to work with BELL.
The above is only if your dad's phone is WAVE and originally of BELL network. If not, please give more details.

Hey thanks spacks. It was originally from Bell. So if it was flashed to some firmware for india, I will just flash it back to the Bell firmware.
Right now its locked to his India cell phone carrier, So i should probably flash the bell rom to put him back on his original network.
If i run into problems I will post back here, as I am leaving for work now
Edit** If the phone is just locked to the indian carrier, How can i UNLOCK it without flashing a new firmware??

Ok i tried the first step to flash the boot files BUT now running into a issue, the laptop wont detect the samsung phone anymore, I tried reinstalling and updating drivers and uninstalling them, Can anyone help me? The phone boots up to the "Samsung Wave I8500M" logo screen but freezes...I really need to flash this Bell firmware asap.

Go to SamMobile and download the canadian fw available there and flash it
Then try again with the flock to unlock your phone

Hey it's okay! I fixed it the driver was somehow corrupt, so I downloaded Samsung kies, everything is fixed. Flashed the Canadian firmware last night.
However, is there any way to get BADA 2.0 on the Canadian wave?? Any flash files? I can't find anything.....I hate when they delay updates!

Hi Guys,
I have a phone with this firmware that i recently flash since the error message locked by FAP something like that, and it seems that this firmware is from korea when i turn it on it has a LG U+ logo WTF?? anyway i want to remove that and the korean apps that came from default is there anyway i can flash it back to a US custom firmware or oem if i cant because i think that im not able to flash it back to any firmware.
please advise

LG+ U is the carrier apparantly.
Forgive me, but is your device even available in North America?
You may be as well to search around and confirm if another device firmware can be used on your variant (ie. A520F on your A520L)

I tried those ones 520F marshmellow and no luck it fails by odin, any other idea?? or maybe to change that damn boot up screen of LG and get rid of those apps with that korean letters

Can i flash my S20 plus G986N to G986U? i tried but keep hitting error in odin, so having doubt can it even be done. Thanks in advance.

No you cant. U got a korean verison (N), you can change the csc only.

A little help with flash firmware

Hello guys. I am from Europe and just buy Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with Snapdragon. The phone is unlocked, but have carrier brand, Verizon, I want to remove it. Can't change phone language (see that this problem is discussed here, but I did not see a solution) and in Verizon miss Samsung Cloud.
I decided to try changing stock rom with Odin. Now downloading official firmware SM 988U, because I read that must put firmware with "U", and downloading SM-988USQU1CTLB (this is my baseband version and hope that this is correct firmware), write only USA, without any brands, from sammobile, I hope that is without carrier brand. Don't know if I will manage to change language successfully, because the phone is made for USA, but hope that carrier brand will disappear and Samsung Cloud will show. Will do this for first time and don't understand a lot of things. However, my question is for Bootloader.... I try to see if my bootloader is unlocked or locked, but can't do it.... If I put new firmware and bootloader is locked what will happens? Sorry for my stupid question, but I try to learn how things happen What you think, is my idea is good or no?

Something is bricks. I downloaded the original stock firmware from sammobile. USA only, I successfully uploaded it, everything with Odin was good, but after restarting and entering my sim card pin code, the phone want pin code to get app notifications. Please someone help me.... What is this pin code? I can only received phone calls

Question How to remove branding from Fold3

Hello,
Is there a way to remove the carrier branding from Galaxy Fold3? I mean the boot animation and stock wallpaper.
I downloaded the EUX version of the firmware (which is the European Union version) and flashed it via Odin. I booted the phone without the SIM card... but it still recognized my carrier. I was greeted by the familiar boot animation and familiar wallpaper.
Is there a way to have a clean Samsung experience without rooting the phone?

you need change CSC first , use SamKey https://www.samkey.org/ to change it, then make OTA update or flash it by odin
