How to use a phone for 4 days without social media? ??
vEChLj3Cwk06oDam
37% after 8 days
My girlfriend uses it mainly as a phone and for WhatsApp. WLAN only, no data contract, preferred network GSM(2G) only (this is still enabled in Germany)
Seems I'm neither allowed to attach photos, nor can I post a complete URL, so I just "describe" it here:
https colon slash slash photos dot app dot goo dot gl slash MUW9cuibeoX3g9HD7
I have been charging only to 80% to avoid battery degradation, this is the result
Almost 3 days, 7h of on screen time. Mostly web browsing, emails about 30 min per day of Reddit browsing and the odd Youtube video and Twitter browsing.
About 20% discharge per day, with a full charge I would get near 5 days out of it.
the Flashlight is a joke!!!!!!!! Will there be any way to raise the light to the flash? realistically they have a faint yellow light, nothing to do with that of the xiaomi mi a 2 that was super powerful
i usually have 9-10 hours on screen time and 15% left. I use all the time wifi and MB sometimes during the day , no games, lots of messegner , facebook, instagram, and youtube. I keep the brightness under 50% except the time i am outside that i maximize it. I also use always on display. And every day around of 20 to 30 photos.

I'm still breaking in the phone, but it seems like I should be able to make 48 hours in light usage. It won't be quite as easy as with my old LG G2, though.
i have the phone for almost 4 weeks, light usage (no games, no FB, no YouTube), some web browsing, almost 1-2h of calls and the battery never got under 48h...i am pretty happy with it
Not a good phone for light use.
Stock ROM, a few app disabled. I never was able to reproduce these. 4+ days standby, 7+ hours SOT.
@red6hu how did you change the signal and wifi signal icons because in stock rom there are different icons .

With Samsung's Good Lock app.
Battery just flies away with wi-fi on
No complaints.
Doesn't matter you are a heavy user or light you'll get only 10-15 minutes of difference.
Adding my rarely used apps to "Always Sleeping Apps" in battery settings has improved my standby time a lot. I can easily get 2 days with 2.5 hours SOT now.

With light use (web browsing, texting, Gmail), my G5 lasts longer than a full day.
Sitting on my bedside overnight, it loses 10-15% battery life, assuming I don't sleep through the alarm...
Today i got yelled on a lot, and i'm still at 30% (almost bedtime, 10:30 pm here)
Sad but true!

Yep, same here.
I get about 3 hours 3 min Screen On Time on average, making about 3.5 hours every now and then. Idk, it's not bad with the removable battery, it works for me, but I feel like battery life should have improved since the G2 even
If you're just browsing the web or checking emails the battery can easily last a day.
I have had the phone for 4 months now and the battery life has indeed gotten worst. I get 3 hours screen on time max and have to charge it everyday. This is on light use.

Battery consumption under light use is incredible!
Fulmics ROM + Fluence UHD + Google Apps - LG Apps - Facebook
See screenshot, I never had a better phone!

I've had the phone a couple of weeks now and I'm just hitting the 72 hour mark since my last charge with 10% remaining. :victory:
I've had Bluetooth audio on for 2 hours and have an SOT of 1 hour over the course of a weekend. As I'm using 2 sim cards and have poor signal in my flat, I'm really happy with the light endurance.
If I want more, I can install Greenify and aim to beat my LG G2's record of 103h with 2h SOT. I don't think I will go down that road as I love leaving all my apps open in RAM to have 0 launch time.
Just got nearly 4 days of battery.
Only 1.5h of SOT but as a light user, I'm not complaining. :victory:
Over 5 hours of sot not bad

drops 3-4% overnight with 2 days of light use
Drops 0-1% overnight in airplane mode and 30-35% (depends on the quality of LTE signal) with light use from 09:00 AM to 11:00 PM: a few calls and whatsapp messages, emails from 3 different accounts, a couple of pics taken with the camera, some browsing just to check stuff on Google, a peek to Google Maps every once in a while to check how is the traffic, LTE data, wifi always on, BT always on and connected to my car when driving. I find the battery performance of this phone quite stellar honestly, in both light and intensive usage scenario.
No facebook, no gaming. Just whatsapp, some maps, and chrome.

Hii
I can not say anything about heavy use
Couse I do not play games on any of my phones
But I do sometimes like sunday..if nothing to do..or have to much free time
I get in the bed and use my phone for hours .. sometimes till the battery last..
And do the internet browsing, video or mp3 music and all the other fun stuff for me
What I can say even if I have the brightness allways set to full
I have although the display setting all the things about ''smart brightness'' TURNED ON
And still get like 8-9 hours of Screen On Time
I do have also all the enhencher for sound and picture turned on..to get the best experiace
Still I can use it for the hole day without need to charge..
If I use it not so much during my day.. I can go with medium usage two days easy..
I can bet it can do more then 2 days if you dont use it medium
