Overall this is a great phone. One of the main problems is heat. When playing games, the back of the phone will get extremely hot. I would say not to use the phone for heavy gaming, or any gaming on the moto mod projector
You can try to embed a cooler in the moto gamepad, alternatively, but there is no info on the disassembly of gamepad. Maybe someone will post a disassembly of it.

Heats up just like any phone if you throw everything at it. The difference is that this never throttles. It will toast your hands just like any phone, but wont skip a beat. Put on the included rubber case, or the gamer "joycon" holder case, and you wont even feel it warming up that much
