mi A1 has dirac because it has a dedicated DAC for sound, whyred doesn't
I'm not a developer but I doubt it would make any difference even if someone were to port the software

The lite version has built in fm receiver
Some sites report in full specifications that A2 nor A2 Lite DONT include any FM receiver....
some sites report Google Android 8.1 Oreo Go edition or MIUI 9 included....

Mi A2 Lite has a receiver, but it wasn't enabled in Oreo which is probably why people assumed it didn't have one.
Pie has enabled it now, and has a nice app to go with it.
