I've been trying different "hide camera hole wallpapers" on my note 10+ but none of em fits correctly to hide the camera hole.
Wallpapers resolution is 1440×3040 and screen resolution is set to WQHD+(3040×1440).
Still wallpapers don't fit to correctly hide the camera hole.......
IMO, I think that trying to "hide" the cam is somewhat pointless
Samsung released some cutout wallpapers in their theme stores. Check them out. I quite like a few designs.

Pretty much any dark wallpaper
Yup they dont match up properly, it offsets a bit. I'd imagine with time their will be better ones.
I'm more interested in the battery meter on the cut out like the S10's. Energy ring is the app but hasnt been updated for the note 10's. It works but it's in the loc of the S10+ which is pointless. There is one app that only uses the same logic but for notifications but not battery life indicator.

Not sure what you mean by didn't fit correctly. Mine looks good and I'm also using wqhd resolution.

Tried all these wallpapers but they align slightly upwards than where they're supposed to be
I've tried the orangutan, guitar and lantern ones and they fit perfectly.
Just to make my problem more clear, here's an example of what exactly the problem I'm facing is.....
Here are two screenshots, 1 image set as wallpaper and second one is how it's supposed to look like. But all the images i set as wallpaper, they're slightly aligned upwards........
I've tried changing "minimum width", tried changing screen resolution too...... But the problem still doesn't go away

yep i'm using the lantern one and it's working fine. it's probably some other settings that TS tweaked rather than the wallpapers.

Hello,
What is the resolution/dimensions of sliding wallpapper? ( similar to default wallpapper that you find on a new Galaxy s) because I want to make custom sliding wallpappers.
And what is the extension/type of the picture? and in which folder I should put it?
And What I should do different if I want to do non-sliding (Fixed) wallpapper.
Thank you.
would also like to know this?

I made a custom one meyself last night and it's a million times better than using the crop tool in Gallery.
For a none slide use launcherpro, it has a setting that stops the wallpaper slide if you want that, its in the preferences/appearance settings.
Thanks for the info, I would rather a non-sliding wallpaper.
Is there no way to make it a different picture for each of the 7 screens?

I thought of making a Live Wallpaper that did this (or just displayed a static image that didn't scroll) and fiddled with the SDK last night. Only problem is I suck at Java. If I could use Visual Basic I could have done it in about 10 minutes.
Maybe someone more competent at Android developing could take this idea and make it a reality.

Thanks everyone, but I tried 960 X 800 and used Gallary to set it like sliding wallpapper but it forced me to chose a part from the picture and I could not chose the whole picture.

I have searched and searched for a solution but my best find was this app:
http://www.androlib.com/android.application.com-creativecore-wallpaperplus-jmit.aspx
haven't tried it yet.
i think it will not work with touchwiz, but might work with launcher pro

Thank you.
I found out that my mistake was making the longer dimension vertical while it should be horizontal. So the rotation of the picture for 90 degrees gave me the ability to select the whole picture as sliding wallpaper.
But what if I want to make non-sliding wallpaper that fit to the screen completely, what is the resolution for that?
um isn't it 480 by 800?
Because of the moving of the image when sliding to different homescreens it needs to be slightly wider, hence the 960x800 resolution.
slightly? thats twice the width lol
what file type do you think would be better?

480x800 is the actual resolution of the screen, while the sliding wallpaper is doubling the width so that the wallpaper won't stretch and display the at native resolution when you slide through the home screens.
When you got some image with high resolution (higher than 960x800), selecting that high resolution image and crop to fit by the wallpaper selector, it will corp and resize the image for you on the fly but it doesn't look sharp as those TouchWiz and Launcher Pro wallpaper which is resized and optimized the sharpness on 960x800, I'm going to crop and resize my favorie wallpaper on a desktop imaging tool.

I've made a couple of backgrounds in ps that were 960x800 resolution and then put them on my phone. Whenever I got to change the wallpaper, it has me select the file and then I have to crop the image. I'm aware that I can drag it out to make the crop zone large but it still only selects I would say 3/5 of the image. I've tried several different times over several different images and I cannot make it any larger. I'm using launcher pro if this has anything to do with it. Are you sure the resolution is 960 wide by 800 tall? Other than that, what am I doing wrong?
Would deleting all but 1 home screen make the wallpaper full-size/non-sliding?

It's what I use and is fine for both stock and launcher pro. When I chose the wallpaper the crop rectangle stretched to the wallpaper perfectly.
Hi. I tried 1280 x 1280 whoch I convert using samsung kies and the crop box fits 100 % and the wallpaper is perfect.
Hope this helps.

The res for Evo is 960x800. But for ones that are off, use Wallpaper Set and Save from the Market, and it will get rid of the banding and distortion usually.

+1 for Wallpaper Set & Save. It isn't real noticeable on all wallpapers, but it does clear up some of the distortion. I try to use walls that are exactly 960 x 800 with it if I can.

Much thanks for the reference on this one. I love this app and it solved my problem.
The clock on my quick circle case is off set to the top right but I can swipe it and the other icons such as settings , camera etc are all displayed in the center as they should be.
I have set the lge.clock in app settings to 480dpi and 640dpi but none of these work. Anyone help?
Anyone?

I tried alot, but it did not work.
If you're trying to save battery, i don't think it will work.
If it works, you wont even notice...The pixels are beeing used either way..
I saw the phone in a store today and wanted to buy it. But got annoyed that the smallest screen scaling option is still bigger than my p20 pro and feels like a waste of screen real estate.
Does anyone know of a way to make things on screen look smaller without rooting?
connect to adb and use wm size option. whatever size you set make sure aspect ratio is same as original device. it works better than wm density.
It’s even simpler than that. There are adjustments in display as well the option in developer options to adjust dpi.

You can change the minimum width setting to a higher number in developer options but it will mess up the SystemUI a little. Certain apps will become too large. It also resets every time you restart the phone. Huawei needs to fix this. It's one of the worst things about EMUI.
try using wm size. it works perfectly.
apart from some apps, like camera. use tasker to reset back when using camera
Thank you so much Guys! Is there any difference at all between using minimum with in developer options, and using vm size in adb? Cheers

It really doesn't work any better than using the Minimum Width setting in developer options and like you said it even screws up the camera app.
I'm using 600 DPI and I have no problems. I wouldn't recommend going higher than 640 as you might get glitches.
Does anyone have a link on how to use that wm size setting?

Am I missing something? I want a bigger font on outside and smaller on inside. I see no option for this. Wtf? Seems dumb.
I agree. I also want the font on the front keyboard to be bigger on the front screen. I haven't found a workaround.
Try using Bixby routines.

Yep. Or Tasker.
Yeah I'm with you on this one front fonts are way to small
I played around with the minimum width numbers in developer options and adjusted the numbers to where i like them from with in the inner screen. I've noticed that when you go in the minimum width settings from the front screen the numbers are different then when u go in from the inside screen and if you try and adjust them from the front outer screen they won't stick they just default to there original numbers ?
Just tested with Bixby Routine but if doesn't work well. It often doesn't change as it is actually configured which is annoying.
Samsung will probably get around to enabling it latter...
