Hi Taxik,
No, it seems that the app was dependent on some feature that only older androids had available. Anyway don't despair, Xiaomi has already announced that it will make android 10 available for Xiaomi mi 9 SE device in January 2020. If you don't know, android 10 will come with native support for the control just by connecting via bluetooth with full compatibility! :highfive:

oh thats sound great! Really even with Bluetooth? Is it for PS3 Controller or only for PS4? I know its possible to use controller with USB OTG, but at the moment i don't have USB (type C) OTG cable and of course wireless option is much better.
Thanks for info and happy christmas!

Yes, you only will need a Bluetooth connection to pair you controller with your device, currently, when you connect the control via bluetooth or OTG, the commands are delayed and inaccurate. About the PS3 control, I have no concrete information, but it is quite likely that it will work as well. For now, I know about the PS4, XBOX One and Switch Pro controllers.

well i updated to Android 10 but still i don't know how to pair via Bluetooth, anyway USB connection with DS3 is now fully working ! Atleast something

Just put the dualshock 3 in pairing mode, look for the control in the cell phone's bluetooth list, "Wireless Controller", and finally, this is how the dualshock 4 is connected. However, I researched a little here about dualshock 3 on android, and it looks like it wasn't as simple as the PS4, I think you'll have to do a little research. My device has not yet received android 10!

Bluetooth pairing issue

Hi all,
i am runing my trinity with WM6 and AX3l's rom. my issue is that i cant connect to my car stereo which is a pioneer DEH-P55. My trinity see's the stereo and gives the option for hands free but the stereo cant detect the trinity. my device is visible to others but the stereo wont pick it up. Any suggestions for a fix on this would be appreciated.
thanks
corm
maybe you have to push a button on your radio to activate first time pairing, that was the solution for my bluetooth headset.
(pairing from both sides)
just a suggestion, maybe it helps.
Try the Jetware bluetooth extension it has a 30 day trial and worked for my Alpine headunit its at http://www.jetwaremobile.com/
Thanks for the replies, but still no luck. I can pair other phones to the stereo but not this. Are there any settings that i may need to activate on the device that i am missing? its abit infuriating as i need to get this up and running as soon as.

activated "receive all incoming beams" ? its in settings/connections/beam
its already activated stormyb but thanks again for helping.
I always had problems using bt and irda...
I never succeed send/receive any file using my pc (my pc irda always worked fine with others devices). Beam enabled on commManager and on settings "receive all incoming beams".
When I try to connect (pair) using (htc) BT I get this error: the connection failed or the passcode is incorrect...
---
One time I tried to send a file to a nokia phone and I needed 30 min to succeed: restart phone, restart BT, restart beam, restart phone, restart nokia, restart BT, restart, restart, ....
Now I'm using the radio 1.46.00.11, rom eLiAs2.11wwe (before I was radio 1.38 and udk rom) and when I pair from htc, on pc I don't receive the pin request. If I pair from pc, I see the request for pin no htc but when I type it: "the connection failed or the passcode is incorrect".
Only one time I was succeed pair (and saved on device list), I typed 3 times the pin code, but after I can't transfer files...
From pc, I see the htc on the device list, if I try the ftp service, htc ask me: "xxx wants to connect with your device using bluetooth. Do you want to add XXX to your device list?" I answer yes but when I insert the pin, the pc give to me this error: "error establishing the connection"
If i try the voice gateway, after type the pin on htc I get this error on pc:
"the remote device closed the connection"
Using this last rom, when I try beam a file, I can't see my pc irda (using the udk rom I can to see but without success), I only see my pc BT but always "failed" the connection.
Nobody has the same problem?!
What bluetooth comms are you using, windows or Widcomm's?
I installed widcomm onto my laptop as I was suffering the same problems as you mention and I couild not get a bluetooth serial port setup either, once installed and restarted the pc then I just powered up both BT's and set the phone to visable and the laptop found it straight away with all the services and could setup the serial port.
I seem to recall there are numerous problems with most BT's when using the default windows drivers etc..
HTH's
hi, I'm using widcomm...
I didn't test again a bt headphone, but I have problems trying to connect to a nokia phone for example (n95, n73).
The irda never works... I tried too with a nokia phone and a remote control software for wm6... nothing...
All ok using headset BT...
I installed blueSoleil BT driver and now it is ok.
same ppc, same rom, same problem with my bt bury in the car and with other ppl's triyng to bt connect to my ppc. i can "see" them they can "see" me but there is no transmission TO me. I can send.
i am using the bt phone (bury) but onlt when I initiate the connection. i think it's a rom bug.

BlueInput for Broadcom. HELP

This is the final beta release of BLUEINPUT FOR BROADCOM which allows u to connect a bluetooth mouse or keyboard to devices with WIDCOMM/BROADCOM bluetooth stack. The only drawback of the beta is u can only connect one device at a time. Connecting a second device disconnects the first device. I would like to connect a keyboard and mouse at the same time to use the TVOUT function. Does anyone think they can make a fix to connect two devices (keyboard & mouse) without losing connection of the first device?

Windows 7 - paring problems

I am unable to pair fully with my HTC OneX and my win 7 pc.
I get this error window... Bluetooth Peripheral device, no driver found.
However, Bluetooth AV source, BT AV Remote Control Target, BT Headset AG, BT OPP, BT FTP, all install correctly and HTC One X is listed as one of my BT devices in win7.
Tried auto update via devcie manager still fails.
Anyone else got his problem and fixed it?
Edit update. Got it fixed. Just had to uninstall BT soft first and then reinstall.

Joying Head Unit + Moga Controller?

Hi All,
I now own a Joying RK3188 1024x600, which I am really loving.
One issue I am having though, is using my Moga Controller with the unit.
The bluetooth will see the device, but will not pair/connect to it.
It is as if the Head Unit will only connect to mobile devices with audio output.
Is there anything I can change, or a patch to alter how the bluetooth operates?
I would really love you suggestions.
I am currently running the rooted rom suggested on the Joying website (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60591423&postcount=12068).
Thanks.
Read HERE.
Bumping an old thread. I have a moga controller and when scanned both A and B mode show up but I cannot pair with it on either mode. I tried the info in the link above but I still cannot get it to pair. It shows up as a phone icon instead of a controller on my Bluetooth settings.
Any help?
Edit: it's a 3188 model Android 4.4.4 on latest Malay ROM and 1024x600
OK I added the moga Bluetooth strings in the xposedMTC Bluetooth settings and it now shows up as an obd device. Followed the link posted 2 replies up and I don't think the exposedMTC will fix the issue. I'll try decompiling the Bluetooth files and manually adding them if that's possible.
Following this ^^^ I have tried a bluetooth keyboard and mini bluetooth SNES controller and while I can see it I can't pair with it. Is that a hardware shortcoming or bluetooth.apk shortcoming? I would love to be able to use this SNES controller, I have a SNES emulator installed with a few ROM's but no way to play them. I have a USB wired 360 controller that I am going to take out to my VW and try shortly but bluetooth is how I would like to do it. Thanks.
Id liek to know this as well. I have some devices that I can see but not pair with also.
Dave
Also interested in getting any of my bluetooth controllers to work with my unit. They show up, but won't connect.
What is the pin on those controllers, if there is one?
Is there an update on this thread? I am really interested in connecting 8bitdo controllers to my Pumpkin head-unit. Like everyone else i can see the devices but wont connect.
In a reddit post, someone made it with usb but is there any way to connect via bluetooth?
i also own a joying unit with malaysk rom (RK3188 / 1024x600 / 06.2016) since a few days and also i am not able to connect my 8bitido SNES controller.
- installed XposedMTC / Override BT OBD device string with SNES controller BT name (didn't enter full name because of space character
and pairing worked!
- did pair as OBD device
- didn't recognize as input device
so the controller doesn't work yet
would be interesting if the controller would work in original joying / pumpkin ROM?
=====================================================================
EDIT: after reading some time in malaysk rom thread it seems that BT functionality is trimmed from the manufacturerers... and so no support for numerous BT devices.

Bluetooth MAC address spoofing

Hi everyone,
Right now, I'm trying to hack my own bluetooth speaker remote to connect it directly to my phone instead to the speaker itself. I'm trying to do that to be able to use the remote in any situation.
Device is a Fugoo Remote connecting via BLE to a Fugoo Tough speaker (which I recommend a lot if you are practicing sport such as snowboard or wakeboard, it is a fully waterproof and shockproof device, love it for many years now).
I've already done a MITM attack with GATTacker on it to understand how the remote communicate with the speaker. My conclusion is (may be I'm wrong but now I have to try it) that the security avoiding the remote (peripheral) to receive a connection request is only about MAC address of the speaker (central).
So my guess is by spoofing my phone BT MAC address I will be able to send a successful connection request to the peripheral. Is there a way to spoof my bluetooth mac address? My current configuration is an HTC 10 phone running LeeDroid 2.7.1 (Marshmallow) with CleanSlate 2.1.0 kernel. That's not a problem to switch ROM if needed but I was on a Nougat ROM before and things seems to be worth for me (I couldn't even spoof WIFI MAC address...).
I've red some website about spoofing BT MAC address but it's not plentiful about this subject. Some is talking about installing Bluez for Android instead of built-in Bluedroid but Bluez for Android seems to be available only for Android 4 or 5. And others are just too old to be relevant since i'm on Marshmallow.
Can someone has already succeed to spoof BT on a HTC 10 or even on Marshmallow?
Thx in advance!! Cheers
Or may be someone has success with porting Bluez back to Marshmallow?
