CSC "Problem" after Nougat update (A5 2017)

hi guys, i first installed the russian Nougat update because in germany (DBT) it wasnt out like 2 weeks ago.
So now it's out and i flashed the original german one over it with wiping everything. So far so good. The problem that i have now is that my orginal CSC "DBT" isn't activated.... it automatically installed the "BTU" CSC (UK)
My question now: How can i change back to DBT? I flashed the german CSC again but i doesn't seem to work that way :/ I added some screenshots from Samsung Phone Info App. The Original CSC-Code line is also blank whyever....

-You have german language
-the playstore have the same apps
- you have the same samsung fonctions apps and parameters .
-the modem have the same European bands

Yeah i flashed the Portuguese rom and somehow got the sloveanian csc. I tried using the method above for changing but it didnt work. It doesnt matter, its the same stuff anyway.

The other method is to flash a single CSC rom and after flash DBT CSC

I know that but where will i download the portuguese rom? I cant from sammobiel at 15kb/s. Im kinda screwed. **** it my phone is slovenian now, i have a new nationality **** it.

try to download firmware from here at fullspeed: http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model
or here http://live.samsung-updates.com/index.php?device=SM-A520F if you got a premium account from uploaded.net or rapidgator
ill try one of the methods now and i'll report my result than

Can you please tell me what is your Knox Warranty Void status after all that flashing? I'm concerned about warranty if I flash german firmware which doesn't have the same csc as mine.

my knox is OK ! not tripped... 0-0
i have flashed a "pure" official signed firmware, providing to sammobile beru safe and serious ...
I repeat for csc ! it's not important at all !!!! :angel:
i have an unbranded BTU (multi-csc) firmware ...

Sorry for interuption, but i just want to confirm - you had French firmware and then you flashed Russian and then again went back to French and your original csc has changed during this but your warranty isnt void? Thank you very much.

sorry ,i didn't have precised ...
original provider firmware (sfr france) MM 6==> flash XEF unbranded MM6 firmware with odin providing to sammobile ( but it's a multi-csc firmware and BTU is the csc-master)==> i wait OTA for N7
But when i have flashed this MM unbranded ,i didn't have had problem with my knox
As i have said ,if you flash a FULL official signed firmware ,in theory it's ok :good:

same on me ! rom is from romania and csc is from CZ. what this means ? csc
if i downgrade to mm ? now from nougat

How to change CSC on S9?

How to flash CSC for other country? I try download DBT firmware, BTU from sammobile, but after flash, CSC not changed. Always is default CSC who was on the phone. I try 3 firmwares and flashed HOME_CSC and HOME but not working... How to change?

I think XEF is the unbranded firmware

Is't there a flashable CsC-Collection in development yet? No need of Country's Sim-Card in my opinion...

Updating from one carrier rom to another

Hi everyone,
I have an Australian S9 and I don't live in Australia.
I still haven't got the pie update and I understood that it's because I have Australian firmware.
Can I just flash another version with Odin?
Or I need to do a full wipe?

If it's the G960F just flash the DBT (Germany) Pie firmware with ODIN

i don't know if this question was asked before i tried to search but nothing
i came from xperia xz and flashing was just as easy as downloading the FTF and flashing in flash mod
i bought my S9 that was stuck at 1 Dec 2018 software and no new updates are available (even with smart switch) to download so my best solution is to update it manually using ODIN
i used to have a galaxy gear watch and s5 and flashing was also simple but i came across a thread that said something about CSC Version and i am sacred that i may brick the phone while trying to update it
can someone point me in the right directions ?
my CSC : G960FOXM2CRLI
Service provider SW ver.
SAOMC_SM-G960F_OXM_KSA_PP_0002
KSA/EGY, EGY/XSG
baseband version

If there are no updated KSA firmwares for your S9, flash any CSC for the G960F, Germany (DBT ) has the latest June update

If you have KSA sim card need to flash KSA firmware with only Home CSC also and if you have EGY sim card and will come OTA downloads

Well yes you need CSCs to match for OTA, but it is not necessary for normal usage, once my region releases the latest update I will flash back for OTA

so it's normal to flaash any firmware even if the CSC doesn't match? only the phone model number right? flashing on ODIN like thr normal way kust like the s5? nothing else need to be done ? like enabling/disabling stuff on developper options ? OEM unlock? sorry for my noobies questions

Normal if your own region CSC has not updated their firmware yes, but you will not receive OTA updates until the CSCs match and will have to flash manually each update
There is a big thread about it so I'm not going to go into it in detail here, quick search should find what you need
Nothing else needed, boot to download mode and flash with Odin 3.13.1

Since I am in the April Fimrware, my phone was from an operator here in my country, but it is unlocked since I use it with an operator other than the original .. but looking for myself realized that the version of the software is the last that launched the official operator .. the CSC is TGP/TGP/TGP (Tigo Operator), can I change this?
