Hey everyone i am looking for the best stable version off an aosp/aokp rom for one x with good performance and good battery life i need to use it on a daily basis so plz give me the stablest one and thx for your help and time .

And as far as MHL support goes, just read the opening posts for ROMs in the dev section. They usually list all the features of the ROM.

I meant stock android like nexus phones
Ah! Well again, look at 4.2.2 or higher ROMs then. None are touchwiz. And the opening posts will list their features....usually.

MHL is only supported up to 4.1.2. So anything over than that won't have it.

I've got a vr headset, some cheap crap i got for review.
This phone does not fit inside, unless i cram it in.
Some viewing is restricted due to the fact it's not built for this size phone.
Looking up vr headsets for phones don't really give you drill downs for "phone size".
Any tips on what to buy? I'm trying to remain in the "cheap" zone, rather than brand name expense.
I don't VR much, so that's why "cheap" is a focal point.
If it doesn't have ports for ventilation, i could always dremel out ports/venting.

Such a waste of time. That is freaking stupid policy but here is my original post with the URL's alterd to be XDA Noob friendly...
I myself am glad you made this post. I live here in Florida and last week ordered this RedMagic 5G. The one with the Pulse colors. I'm a bit stoked about it and cant wait for it to get here. I on the other hand am a big VR gamer and am very interested in possibly using this phone with VR.
I'm assuming that you plan on installing VRidge from RiftCat on the phone to enable the split-screen to make it VR compliant?

Honestly though I haven't looked into either of those 2 products for a few years. I had not needed to as I got so caught-up in VR with my HTC Vive.. Now with this phone and its 144hz display theoretically all I need is the proper lenses to turn this phone into a comparably impressive VR headset.
I guess if I must I can make a "headset" to house the phone. All I need is the lenses. However I will look for a headset that could host this phone.
Just some ideas but this place has some cheap options for lenses:

Great, thanks for that. I was having a hard time finding a headset that the phone will fit in.
I'll wait to hear your feedback before I buy my own.
My concern with the phone and VR is that the resolution is too low.
For sure, Ill let you know.
Just looking up and comparing the resolutions to just a couple headsets...
The RedMagic 5G has a Single 6.65 AMOLED with a Rez of 1080x2340 pix
*HTC Vive & Oculus Rift = 1080x1200 per eye
*Oculus Quest = 1440x1600
*Valve Index = 1440x1600
Using the RiftCat VRRidge application to split the phone screen into 2 virtual displays but this should be interesting.
I may be mistaken and Ill just have to see but the RedMagic "may" look as good if not better than my HTC Vive G1 I use.
We will see.
