So despite every effort to keep my shiny new atrix shiny and new, it has taken 2 major spills out of my truck when exiting the vehicle. Big lift + big tires = LONG fall to the ground, which has resulted in a few scratches/scuffs to the battery cover (which I swear doesnt fit proper now ).
Do they have replacement covers out yet? Stock, that is? I am going out tomorrow and buying a beast of a case for this thing. I'm hoping the cover is just a little tweaked and none of the actual phone body is messed up so with a new cover it will fit just fine again.
I saw them for sale on the Bell website, and it seemed like they were in stock.... I'll have to look for the thread...
eh...they have original and ruggedized battery covers on their website.
Bell Atrix Accessories
does it appear the bell cover is branded as "bell" or is ut just branded with motorola? i havent even taken the sticker off the back of my phone yet but the case is slightly tweaked from the fall so I would like to replace it.

They should just be branded Motorola since they are OEM parts
I have one on the way currently from Motorola. I called their support told them I had scratched mine and asked them about buying one since the website does not currently list them. After a few moments the lady on the phone told me they were waiving the warranty exception and were going to send me one for free.
Support number was: 1-866-289-6686
can we get those Hybrid Cases in the states
Those cases are awesome. is it possible to get them in the states?
Lifted truck + phone in lap = fugged up. Ask my iPhone. It got 4 replacement screens haha. My Atrix got a case before it got out of the box! You are from GMfullsize right? Name looks familiar.

Before I clicked the thread I saw your username as the last post haha. on GMFS too.
I am going to possibly see if I can get the whole phone swapped at costco since for whatever reason the battery life has all of a sudden gone to hell in a hand basket. It was at 90% when I went to bed 8 hours ago and I woke up and it was at 60%.

Yo guys, Had a bad day today.... Broke the screen on my phone. Does anyone know where to get replacement screen's from now a day's? Preferably not Ebay as i hate it but If that's the only place i guess i must. Now I have checked ebay but the ammount of Galaxy Nexus S Screen's that are on there it didn't seam like anyone would have any replacement screen's... could be wrong though! Any help appreciated
Kind Regard's James Mackay
You broke the screen already!? What happened?
You not going to tell me that you didn't insure device worth 500quid?
Sent from my GT-P7510 using xda premium
ill admit that this is the first phone ive had that i DID insure !
What happened? ... How is broke?
I was wondering how long it would be before someone killed one. I very much doubt you'll have any luck sourcing a screen for one this soon after it's release, your only choice might be to contact Samsung regarding repair I'm afraid.
Haha, yep I broke the screen. Well I've cracked it any whoo. Still working perfectly fine . I dropped it yesterday when I was walking to work. Landed right on a curb....
Yeah I didn't insure it, never dropped the previous phones I've had, this ones a slippery bugger though.
I didn't think there'd be screens out yet, I'll keep my eyes posted for some. Anyone know any decent sites to check?

There wont be any replacement screens out for quite a while im afraid, maybe 6 months or more as this is such a new phone and all available stock will be going to make the phone itself or held by samsung for repairs. As mentioned before your only option if you want it fixed is to send it back to samsung for repair or claim under your contents insurance if you have accidental cover.
Mark.

do you have accidental damage on your home insurance? might be worth checking if they will cover you that way. All my gadgets are covered this way, whether inside or outside the house.
God know's ha, I'm currently living at my mother's so no idea if she has or not! Ahhh well, as i said i didn't expect there to be any screens. I can still use the phone, and at the moment can't be arsed with the hassil of ringing all these place's to check if they will replace it. Thanks anyway's guys, Got a perspective from it if anything .
Did you pay for it with a credit card? You may be covered for accidental damage eg barclaycard:
Purchase protection
Buy eligible goods worth over £50 with a Visa or MasterCard credit card and they will be protected against accidental damage, loss or theft for the first 90 days, subject to an excess of £50. If any of these occur in that period, you should notify us within 45 days of the incident, and the police within 36 hours. You're covered for:

You might want to look into a warranty like square trade. I was looking at insurance options myself and square trade seems to be the best. They allow you to buy insurance for a phone that is up to 30 days old. It might not be the most ethical thing to do to buy it for an already broken phone but they wouldn't offer that service if it wasn't profitable for them.
The plan is not cheap, and there is a deductible for replacement but it beats having a broken phone for 2 years.

I am shocked . 500 quid phone barely a couple of weeks old and you can't be arsed to get it fixed? I would have literally in tears!
i saw on eBay it has already full housing.
The only parts site I know of is cnn.cn.
It doesn't look like they have anything for this phone right now though.
Well it isn't that bad. I can still use the phone perfectly and only notice the cracks when the screen is off. I can't get hold of a screen and am not dealing with insurance company a cause I feel them to be a majour pain in the arse. No point in getting worked up over something I can't change . I'll buy a screen when I find one online. Thanks for all your options though

I'll be going to china on december 7-8 and 14-16, i'll check it out for you, i'll look on the 7, and let you know, and if the price is ok, you can paypal me and i'll buy it on the dec 14, at present i'm searching for white nexus s battery cover for members in this forum.
dont expect the screen to be cheap, i remember the nexus s screen cost approximate USD 120 when the phone was first released.
I have had my Galaxy Nexus for 5 days, and have also cracked the screen.
Problem is I have no idea how it happened. Phone was fine this morning when I set out for work and put it in my trouser pockets. But when i got to work and went to use it there was a huge crack across the screen, about at the point where the curve starts.
So i thought i would try my luck and see if I could get it replaced under warranty, as i had not dropped it or damaged it in any other way, so felt it was a manufacturing defect. Unfortunately I had no luck. As far a Phones4u (Where ig got it from) are concerned a cracked screen is accidental damage, so i will have to pay to get it repaired.
Then they quoted me a cost of £40-£70 for the repair, with the final cost inside that range depending on the amount of damage they had to fix. Now if the fix comes in under £70 i will be extremely happy. When i broke a Galaxy S screen it was £70 for the part alone, so under £70 for the part and fix looks like a good deal, so i accepted thinking i would get nowhere with my warranty argument.
I am waiting for the catch as currently it sounds too good to be true, as i was expecting something closer to £200. I will let you all know how it goes.
Pics or it didn't happen

same thing happened to me, dropped from 2 feet onto linoleum.
still very usable, only somewhat annoying. guess i will wait a few months for replacements to appear. in the meantime i am ordering a case. also just want to say i have never dropped and broken a phone in my life before this.
This introductory video shows how strong this case is
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPEciw3cBss
I bought this case on 11/28/2011.
Its around 4 months and look at the picture what happened to my case.
I have not even dropped it once.
I just took out the phone few time out of the case to pull the battery (hard reset)
Anyone knows if I can claim the warranty? bought it from ebay (US seller)
thanks,

i have heard of people having success going directly to tmobil stores and speaking with customer service.
sometimes customer service will replace the case on the spot. even if you paid cash and dont have a receipt, there maybe a record of your purchase in their computer (if they asked for your phone number.)

Thanks but I bought it from ebay
I'd say just go up to T-Mobile and exchange it. They wont lose any money since its a defect. I am going to return mine due to the echo it produces on my phone and the gfs too.
I was getting off the greyhound and I dropped my phone... so after I got off the bus I went directly to the T-Mobile store and they replaced the phone and I bought this phone while I there... its pretty good... at first it was kinda hard pressing the power button but it got easier.
Its a lifetime warranty
I would give it a exchange try at a T-Mobile store myself.
I have the white and black one. Its starting to crack down the back from where the charger port is. I am going to check out the tmobile store. I forgot my receipt but Ill let you know how my visit goes.
The store rep said there was only a 30 day warranty on this case i bought mine in november as well.
Thanks for checking it out, I have to go 10 miles to check that out by myself.
My question specifically was to claim warranty from the manufacturer.
Let me know if you can findout where to go claim the warranty..
Horrible Case - Caused physical damage to my phone
I bought the T-Mobile Galaxy S2 right when it came out and purchased the case shortly after - around October, 2011. It's been on almost the entire time and I recently have pulled it off and noticed that the Power/Lock button is now depressed more than it should be. This is due to the stiff power button on the case keeping it pressed in too far.
T-Mobile see's this as physical damage to the phone and it took me 2 visits to a T-Mobile store and 3 calls to Tech support before they FINALLY warranty repaired it, due to the fact that this is an exclusive case sold by T-Mobile and not a 3rd party.
Now I'm looking for a better case to use when I get the replacement. Anybody happy with other cases? I'd prefer something not super thick.
Anyway, just a heads up - I'd stop using this case.
I love my D3O. Never had any problems.

Weird!
I have a D30 case, and I take it on/off daily. I only wear it for work, then take it off throughout the day. Do this everyday and my case is still like new! (The buttons started to soften up too)
I'd say take it to T-Mobile store and talk to them about it. They always fix my problems in-stores, maybe cause I've been with them since 2000.
Three weeks ago, my A100 died. I went to Acer support, called and ended up sending it in for warranty repair. But...
Since the holidays are very busy for me, I needed a replacement immediately. No time to research so I just went out and bought the 4th generation iPad.
Honestly, I love the iPad. Two days ago, my A100 came back with a new main board and it's working just fine again.
Now I'm trying to decide whether to sell the A100 or keep it. The portability is nice, but when I'm home or have room in a briefcase, I'm going to grab the iPad every time.
(Why I prefer the iPad does not enter into this discussion.)
Just wondering what my A100 (great condition, extra charger, Blurex case) might be worth.
If it's not much, I might as well keep it around for those rare times I want something that fits into an oversize pocket.
I'm not a fan of selling things on ebay, although that's a possibility. (I liked ebay a lot back when they took a much smaller cut and catered more to individuals.)
Looking for suggestions about what it's worth, etc. Thanks.

Just by itself with a charger I'd consider 125 about right, with a 32gb sd maybe 150, cases and other accessories would add a little more. I wouldn't pay more then 150 for one in perfect condition by itself. Try craigslist, also.

Put mine up on Craig list for $100 for a 2 weeks and no takers. Using it as a portable media streaming device around the house. Was going to give it to the kid but he kept complaining about the touch screen. Picked up a new nook tablet for him. Running cm10 great.

I'd say just keep it if you don't have something in that form factor. Even if its collecting dust for weeks/months, eventually you're going to find a time when it will be useful.

Just to update:
Thanks for the answers. Soon after posting this, my A100 had screen issues where things would just go nuts like an invisible hand kept touching the screen. I called Acer and sent it in again. At least they're pretty good about warranty repair.
They extended my warranty through May, which was good. This time they replaced the touch screen and sent it back pretty quickly. The only real annoyance was having to pay for shipping it to them twice now to have it fixed, but extending the warranty pretty much makes up for that.
Now the A100 works better than it did when new. The new screen is more responsive, working better when the tablet is sitting there rather than in my hand.
Now that I also have an iPad (not the Mini), it does make the battery life on the A100 look even worse by comparison. But otherwise it's a nice, portable unit.
Rather than sell it cheap, it's nice to have around. Because I'm not using it that much, I may still put it on Craigslist and ask a decent price for it, but it will be non-negotiable. I like this thing again.

It won't sell for more then 150 these days, around here they've hit the $100 mark a couple times now. Of course price it as its worth to you, just saying it isn't much on resale value, buggy, bricky and outdated don't do well. I wouldn't spend more then 50 on one that's pristine, but I'm all to familiar with all of its failings. I'd keep it around for a spare, on the charger, lest you suffer the battery brick too lol

Well, after receiving an amazon gift card for Christmas, I decided to bite the bullet and get one of these battery cases.
It should be delivered by Friday and I should be able to give it a good test the following weekend when I spend the day in Manhattan.
I have a great 10000 mah portable usb c charger that I've been using since my 2xl days, but it would be nice to not have to keep that in my pocket when I'm out and about.
I don't really need a case like this as most of my days are spent rather close to somewhere that I can charge up in a pinch. I've got chargers all over my house, in my office at work and I'm always plugged into Android Auto when I'm in my car.
But there are times that this battery case might really be nice and since I had the amazon gift card, I figured why not.
How's everyone liking this case so far?
I'm not going to get it, as much as I'd love a batter case the fact that you lose functionality while using it is a deal breaker. I used Android auto and the wired pixels buds daily. The fact that it doesn't have some sort of pass through function is mind boggling.
Also looking on Amazon there's at least 5 separate cases that are exactly the same which is suspect to me. How do you know that zerolemon is the original manufacturer and not just a rebrand or even worse a seller just selling the rejected models that didn't pass QC?
