You can .tar the vbmeta.img and flash it through Odin
Put the .tar file in AP
For twrp just flash the .img as recovery image in your existing twrp
Awesome bro!!! 9.5/10

Overlay on S10 is indeed a bit off in the statusbar.
What about magisk as root solution? Tried installing, not working.
Apart from that, no complains so far

You can use lineagesu for now, flash the addon and then check developer options on your phone for root access
And so it begins. Much respect OP. Looking forward to how this progresses.

LOS said my microSD card corrupted need to format.
I also face this problem before with many GSI ROMs.
(in 2019-08-08 Phh-Treble version 117 GSI ROM my microSD works.)
After I pulled all files from microSD card to my PC via adb in TWRP.
I decide to format as LOS requested.
,now the card works fine with the ROM.
Will the resolution change be available at the next update?

Yes, it is.
Hey guys,
I've installed the latest official SLIM7 with the stock OpenGapps.
When setting up the phone for the first time, google services keep crashing and the phone gets stuck on "just a sec...".
Tried re-flashing a few times, didn't help.
What should I do?

Thanks

anything other than that is mentioned in known bugs
KNOWN BUGS:
* NFC
* VoLTE
* Video Recording with default camera app
* The proximity sensor turns off the screen during a call, but the screen responds to pressing
[/STRIKE]* ScreenRecording[/STRIKE]
Possible workaround/s:
Use 3rd party camera apps like Footej Camera from playstore for video recording and better quality.

• fixed proximity ie touchscreen won't work when screen is off in call.
• fixed low microphone recording.
• fixed low sound.
• switch to stock hal (using flashable zip provided)
• fixed vendor image mismatch issue shown on each reboot.

• safety passes.
• addresses Bluetooth denials.
• more denials addressed.
• new lineage theme style and accent.
• July security Patch
• Android tag 8.1.0_r33
• and boots [emoji14]
Reason for delay in update is lineage broke shims for our device. So i need to rebase whole bionic repo for making shims work.

address ril not starting on first boot.
fix device naming and init files.
exfat support (needs testing).
show internal storage in default file manager by default.

Thanks for the quick response, i did, everything i did, this is not my first time i format and install new and clean installation, i tried several times actually, even wizard setup got error (as well as wifi) if you install rom + gApps together.
i need to setup separately, first the ROM + wifi fix, it was successfully, then later the gApps, the prob it always got issue and stuck in updating GPlay.

Maybe su binary from official lineage16.0 works try flashing it. But it won't have app like magisk or supersu.
Is the mic quality good? I was thinking about flashing this rom but all aosp roms I tested had poor mic quality, even after flashing the mic gain fix zip
Magisk is working here j710mn but safetynet check shows ctsProfile is false therefore isn't play protect certified.
The mic sound is a low.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

anybody have a lte fix for boost mobile on this rom? im only getting 1x and 3g
i know this is only alpha build but has anyone tried it how stable is it
Tried in on rhannah.. out of curiosity
Although it is not listed under compatible devices, I was curious to see if it would work on the rhannah variant but it doesnt boot. Phone just stays on the black screen with the N/A on the top left corner.
I reverted back to this ROM under 15.1... waiting for it to be fully compatible to make the switch.

First I wanted to say thanks for the build it's amazing.....I wanted to ask if someone can tell me how to properly do a log cat? Hot spot doesn't work, I turn it on and it turns right back off, I know the rom still has a few things to be worked out so was trying to do a log cat and post it up to help get it fixed if possible. Once again thanks for the newest rom.

The build is stable enough to run.. I'm running it now, very smooth rom no issues other than hotspot and a couple other things but I'm pretty sure they'll be fixed soon
Edit: I see why a lot of the devs tell us to research because we can most likely find how to's on our own if we search enough....I found out how to get a log cat from my computer but also leaned how to get it from my phone now I just need to learn how to post it here.
so will this rom work on boost mobile phone

Well, it used to work even in initial build I doubt at your APN
Man Android sure has changed. So I have the metro version. Rooted and decrypted. Few questions tho still kinda new to the custom rom flashing.
Will I need to decrypt again?
I assume the hannah_t is the software variation, unless I'm in the wrong place, just wanna make sure I have hannah_na tmo...nvm that's baseband lol.
When flashing it goes rom and gapps, I assume I can stack up the installation in twrp.
Lastly, sorry kinda answered myself when typing lol, if rom has issues and I revert, do I revert twrp back or will this updated version be ok to keep

What's CAF?
CAF stands for Code Aurora Forum. It's a fork of AOSP which is well optimized for Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to plain AOSP. In addition to the opensource CAF android base, these builds also use Qualcomm's proprietary Android 11 Board Support Package (BSP) for Snapdragon 665, to ensure maximum compatibility and functionality with Android 11. It can also be called an engineered ROM, as it's built from pure CAF sources and BSP in the same way OEMs do.

FAQs
Q: Is MiuiCamera included?
A: No, the MiuiCamera from android 10 doesn't work in 11, so a fresh port from Mi A3 is required whenever android 11 is released for it.
Q: What's the 4 or 5 number beside the wifi icon?
A: It's a CAF feature which shows the 802.11 generation number. 4 stands for 802.11n, 5 stands for AC, 6 for AX and so on.
Q: Does the main rear camera have yellow tint? This bug was there in AOSP 11.
A: No, it has been fixed.
Q: How to get weather in at a glance widget? It just shows me the date
A: There's a quite simple trick for this, just add another instance of at a glance widget manually onto another home screen. The one on the main home screen gets refreshed automatically!
Q: This ROM is laggy! Expected more since its CAF.
A: Most importantly, let the ROM settle after its booted, janks will eventually disappear. In my testing I've faced no lags at all except in the first 10 mins after booting. Do keep in mind that this is an initial A11 release, both from CAF and my side. The kernel used (QSv2) is also in its early stages as it's entirely rebased on android 11 kernel source.
Q: Next update when? ETA PL0X
A: Updates will be dropped as soon as CAF releases a new android 11 tag for our chipset (trinket) or when there's a new security patch available. Please do not spam XDA or telegram for ETAs.

NO BOOTLOOPS and boot very fast, rom is smooth no lag and battery usage is better than caf q (reloaded)

Edit: I'm also having the reboot problems reported by @nneko904 (although they don't bother me). Also, File Transfer is not working when in system, only in recovery
Edit2: updated Magisk to v21 and Manager to 8.0.2 and seems like reboots are gone. Procedure is as follows:
- Install MagiskR.zip as described in initial post
- Boot to System, go into Magisk Manager
- Setings > Change Update Channel to "Beta"
- Update Magisk Manager via Magisk Manager's initial page
- Reboot
- Go into Magisk Manager and update Magisk. Don't use Recovery Mode, and choose Direct Install. Wait for it to finish and reboot.
