Bootloop when update to MIUI Global 10.4.1 eu - Xiaomi Mi 6 Questions & Answers

any fix for this? I was on 10.3 xiaomi.eu global stable and bootloop after updating to 10.4 xiaomi.eu, any hints will be appreciated

Are you able to enter recovery?

Same problem here...it stucked when I used a dark theme...bootloop with 3 choices 1)reboot, 2) wipe datra and 3) connect with mi assistant. First choice always goes to the 3 options, second choice never selected because of the consequences andd third choice I connect the phone but mi pc suite doesn't connect with it, only the Pc connects. Any help out there?

I had the same problem and i fixed this way:
1) extract the ROM fastboot you had before, downloaded from en.miui;
2) connect your device to PC in fastboot mode;
3) go to the extracted ROM and select only batch files;
4) double click on flash_all.bat, if you want to wipe all your device leaving bootloader unlocked, or flash_all_except_data.bat if you want wipe all exept data with boot loader unlocked, or flash_all_lock.bat if you want to wipe all with bootloader locked.

I tried everything...I wiped all data...but the problem that was putting my hpone always in recovery mode 3.0 was that the volume up button is always pressed....so power and volume up, always recovery mode 3.0
So after installing with mi assistant 3.0 chinese version(most of the times I didn't know what I pressed) I installed global stable 10.4.2.0 and after making the phone the rebooting I was pressing volume down so it flashed the rom and opoened the phone.
Now when I try to charge it I have to press the down volume cause otherwise it enters recovery mode 3.0 (because I suppose connecting the cable with mi 6 acts like power button)
I will try to open the phone and see if it is broken volume up or software problem.

in my case phone back to twrp after stay bootloop for like 15 minutes, stuck in V10.3.1.0 even today

[Q] ''Bricked'' Moto Defy - help needed!

Hi, i messed up my phone in a really stupid way
So, until a few days ago i had a froyo installed on my phone ( + 3.4.2_155-002_DEBLUR_SIGN ROM) but then i decided to give a try to CyaongenMod Beta 5.1.
I followed this very well detailed installation guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1054447 and got my CM7 working, but after a day i became unhappy with the CM7, the camera didnt work properly and there were many other issues.
What I did next, I turned my phone off, went into stock android recovery and did a full factory reset and cache wipe. I rebooted the phone and hoped that i would be able to load a normal android system, but the only thing that is happening is a motorola logo being displayed.
I tried connecting my phone via USB to flash an old ROM (3.4.2_155) but the phone is not appearing in the RSD Lite - i think it has to be completely turned on in order to appear there, isnt is true?
What shall i do to be able to turn my phone on properly, and is it possible to flash another working rom via RSD lite without having my phone turned on?
i tried to factory reset + wipe with stock and custom recovery, still no luck, phone freezes at motorola logo during start up.
i dunno why it still doesnt show up in RSD lite, any tips on how and when should i try connecting it via USB cable?
EDIT I forgot that for a phone to appear in RSD Lite without being switched on it has to be in a bootloader mode!! (which is entered by holding a volume up button during strart up, just like volume down button for recovery! i know, im stupid, i don't know how i could forget about this)
So, i entered the bootloader menu and managed to have my phone seen by RSD Lite, next I flashed a new SBF and I was getting a bootloop, and fixed it by a data wipe in stock recovery!)
Try to take out battery after few minutes put it back. Pull in usb cable. Then try to push the right buttons.
SOLUTION
First get your phone in bootloader mode by pressing VOLUME UP first and then POWER button till you get that logo.......Then flash it with rsd lite..,,,

stuck on EDL mode after trying to rollback from pie (beta) to oreo

Hello dear community,
I did try to flash rollback my A2 lite, from pie (beta) to stock 9.6.4.0 rom (Android one). After flashing my telephone wouldn't boot normally, next step I put the telephone on EDL mode and tried again flashing with mi flash utility, the process run successful but when it finished flashing, the phone did not reboot, with black screen. I've been trying different roms(stock official) with no success,I can't get the phone to exit EDL mode, BTW I can't reboot in fastboot mode neither boot to rom normally to run adb commands.
P.S. I did the vpn Indonesia to get ota pie beta
Any suggestions would be appreciated..
Thanks in advanced
Hmmm... But you know, that after flashing successfully in edl, the phone doesn´t reboot automatically. So did you try to hold pwr for more than 10 sec?
And do you hear some vibration sound or any other response?

Connect your phone to your pc and look int your device manager. Perhaps its still shown as com device. If so, disconnect it and hold pwr for a long long time...

First of all dude, since your bootloader is not unlocked how you can access it's fastboot mode!? I don't get it. Also, you simply cannot root your device without unlocking your bootloader since it requires fastboot mode to work.
Well, if you can access your stock recovery mode by vol+Power button I recommend you to format data and install latest package from Realme software download website! Or service centre is the final option!
If your phone is stuck on the Realme logo and never boots and only restarts and shows logo again in a continuous circle then press and hold volume+ and power button until the phone shuts down. Then press volume- and power button and hold until you get into fastboot mode.
From fastboot then use the1) volume button to select Recovery 2) then press the power button to go to recovery 3) then select how you want to flash the stock rom (either download ROM from internet, flash from ROM saved on you phones storage)

Mi Mix 2 - MIUI 12 - Mi-Recovery 3.0 - TWRP - BootLoop

Hello,
Sorry for my bad English, I'm french
My mi mix was on Lineage OS 17 and everything was good, BUT, I broke my screen. I change it, BUT, the phone gone in bootloop.
I find a solution put offical ROM and the screen was working good
BUT was stupid, I use miflash and put the last miui12 with mi-recovery 3.0
Now I can boot or install twrp. After the flash and reboot (power + up without usb), While I keep down the upper button and power or only the upper button the phone bootloop. If I release the button phone reboot tu miui and the recovery is mi-recovery 3.0....
It's possible for me to Have TWRP or not ?
Thank you !!!
No body have this problem ?

Question Stuck in Fastboot Mode

HI all,
I had a MIUI 12.5.5 Stable and decided to install custom ROM.
I have unlocked the bootloader, waited 7 days. Then installed TWRP, flashed Crdroid 12 ROM and it had a lot of errors on the installation log- but I can see it tried to install to drive A. I have now found out there are 2 partitions on this device (A and B). In TWRP I tried to reboot to another partition but am now stuck at the fastboot mode. Holding Power, Power + Down, Power + up + down keys just trigger the device to go back into fastboot mode. Can anyone provide some advice about my next options.

1/flash the rom which corresponds to the firmware for the Crdroid rom
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/flash-tool-guide-use-xiaomi-flash-tool.4262425/
select CLEAN ALL
2/flash TRWP
3/Format data(write yes)
4/reboot Twrp
5/flash Cdroid rom according to the instructions of the OP.
My advice would be to go back to MIUI using MiFlash. Don't lock the bootloader, use the clean all options only. Once you and your device were all set because errors like these would get you into a panic mode. In that situation, you'll do several mistakes which might lead you to do some mistakes while flashing. Therefore, go back to MIUi, take some days and then try flashing stable custom ROMs first. My advice would be to go with the Pixel experience.
Cheers and don't stop trying new things just because they don't work out.
