Hello all, I have just placed an order for a China version 4/64 mi max 3 with global rom (I am in Canada)
As there seem to be different versions of this phone - what are the most recent recommendations for rooting and for getting up to do date Xiaomi global roms for the China version?

I have a global a2 lite. The model is M1805D1SG.
Purchased 2 Global version from Gearbest, both are model M1805D1SG
I've got the Global version (4/32) and can confirm the same model number M8105D1SG with a Baseband version 953_GEN_PACK-1.152683.0.158868.2 if that helps.
I could be wrong, but all Mi A2 Lite phones are Global version. The non-global version is the Redmi 6 Pro (that comes with MIUI).

Hello, I wanted to download a stock firmware for my Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. It shipped with rom: V10.2.2.0 PFBEUXM.
The only download links I could find are for V10.2.3.0 PFBEUXM and V10.2.2.0 PFBMIXM.
I'd like to know what's the difference between those two and whether I can use V10.2.2.0 PFBMIXM on a PFBEUXM phone.
From what I've seen those characters reference region the phone is meant for, but I've met "MI" code only with V10.2.2.0 and I wonder whether it is some kind of "universal" rom.

"EU" is for EEA (European Economic Area) specific & "MI" is for Global for general. the difference is usually from SIM support

I have an question. I recently bought Mi 9 SE Global version from a local store. I received an update (Stable) which is 485 MB sized.
My ROM version is: 10.2.2.0 (PFBMIXM)
why is it different than global ROM version which found in this forum: PFBEUXM ? I heard that PFBEUXM is EU/Spanish variant.
So How can I ensure my phone has real global version ROM? what type of global ROM is it?

hi , 10.2.2.0 PFBMIXM is global internationnal rom , PFBEUXM is for europe , same rom but some differents for privacy tracking, no chinese apps, and some others things, now stable version is v10.2.9.0, the 10.3.3.1 have issue , brick phone after ota update and update is suspended

The 10.2.9.0 update is for EU version, your model is stuck at 10.2.2.0 until Xiaomi rolls out the 10.3.1.0 again, which has caused a lot of problems.
Can I change ROM PFBMIXM to PFBEUXM without lose configuration?
