How To Flash :
Put the Rom Zip File, Boot File & Gapps 6.0 Pico into the SD Card.
Go To TWRP 3.0.0.3 (most commonly used) Via quickroot app
Wipe System,Data,Cache,Dalvick
Flash The ROM zip From Recovery
Now click on install image them select the boot img and then flash it.
Flash GAPPS depending on your usage.
Reboot booting takes 2-3 minutes so have patience.

Does the notification LED actually work? Because in the website it says that it works only for a7k+

Can you please elaborate on the led fix and how to use the fix? Didn't quite understand.
Is the boot image provided for the led fix?
Mine's not working except while charging.

OK, so my led wasn't working.
I went to the cm13 XDA thread where HDHR had provided the led fix (and his name is mentioned here too) and downloaded the fix zip, went to twrp and flashed it...
Now there is this major problem : no sim detected

Charging is slightly better than the previous version of daredevil kernel.
Battery backup is not awesome... 4 hours idle and battery changed from 100 to 92.

Here's a screenshot for better understanding... Battery info recorded on alucard governor.

OK... Is there ANY other kernel which is compatible with this rom?
This rom would be the ultimate rom if it had a better battery backup and faster charging.
I tried to use tron v2, phone got stuck at the boot screen.
If only tron v2 was available for aicp (requesting for it)...
Can anyone build tron v2 for aicp? Is someone already on it? Or is there any info on some other kernel currently in development?

Dunno.Try alpha build it seems latest.I am it using on stock rom for awhile now.Working fawlessly

Which gapps to flash Android version 8.0 or 8.1
Because in crdroid website it's written 8.1 version but in download file 8.0 is written

See 8.1 is written

Also provide latest twrp I have version 3.1.1

First time installing crDroid to your Athene, or coming from another ROM:

1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Tried the ROM but after a few minutes I can see icons burned in. In 7.1.2 LOS i can adjust RGB colours to avoid that. Any ideas?

This is how fast charge works which is normal.

With stock rom fast charging 100% procent , 0-100% fast charging all time

Because bugs that are mentioned are minor and sgsi even its working fine is a big works also don't want use it or want a fully stable Rom. why wasting time on sgsi you have other ROM go try them

Ide drain is not there .. use 2018-12-16 build without changing kernel
in latest build we havnt test the IDE drain .
2018-12-16 ( based on PE official vendor)
2018-12-20 ( based ons superior Os offical vendor/ FP is fast there)

2) And any plans to update it regularly... Or even once in a while?
Cause before this we also asked for a Miui 9/10 Port....we got it..but terrible when it came to updates...yeah surely Dev's been busy with Pie and is doing awesome there....but maintaining it a thing....

You need a PC with ADB & Fastboot available
Download recovery
Reboot to fastboot
Run: fastboot flash recovery recovery_twistloop.img
Press volume & power up until you see TWRP logo
Enter your password (if it prompts)
Go to Wipe
Click on Format Data -> Yes
Go back and select Advanced Wipe
Select system & cache and press wipe
Go back (press back twice)
Select “Advanced”, “ADB Sideload”, then swipe to begin sideload.
On the host machine, sideload the package using: adb sideload filename.zip (Replace filename with actual filename)
You may flash OpenGapps and or Magisk
Reboot

Heating issue and too much battery consumption..
Core 8 offline..

Good work out there but the thom is Laggy, battery drain faster and over heating..

It was a joke, sorry.
It seems the 8 processor cores are working at full speed even when the phone is idle. The obvious solution is go back to miui and wait the problem is solved. The overheating is not good for the electronic's health. If you keep it heating your phone will not live for long time.

Actually I tried it with oreo before you replied.
The recovery you have attached does not boot up. Furthermore it shows disc image is corrupted when I try to open it in Windows.

can u suggest one. I have Redmi Y2(Indian Version) with stock MIUI 10 installed over oreo 8.1(32 bit).

Bro. After flashing it my phone started overheating.
Battery was draining rapidly comparing MIUI, And instead of charging the battery was draining while I was using it on charging. ?
Now I'm back to miui Europe version. Sad
