Hi,
I've got some bluetooth devices with playback controls (play/pause, FF, REW). I listen to podcasts in an app called Podkicker Pro. It's nice in that FF, REW will skip ahead or back within the same podcast rather than skipping tracks like a regular audio player, and remember my position.
The problem is the Apollo music player is the one to always receive commands from the bluetooth device. Even if Apollo isn't loaded/playing anything any use of the bluetooth controls will cause it to load and steal focus. The only way I can reliably get the controls to work in Podkicker Pro is to disable Apollo from the apps settings. Of course if I want to play music I then need to re-enable it.
Is there any way (settings, apps, patches, takser rules) to specify which app will receive the bluetooth playback commands?
Thanks!
I've been using n7100 for almost 7 month now it's a really nice phone with cool functions but i have a problem !! :
sometimes the music player stops responding after i lock the phone! the volume controls don't respond and i cant unlock the screen until i disconnect the earphones or wait ... for the music player to function again any one have the same problem or know how to fix it ??
by the way i'm using the stock 4.1.2!! i tried to use Play music instead but i have the same problem :crying:
Did you try another Music player like Poweramp? Do you have the same problem when you are listening to streaming music for example?
A cleaning of your cache may helps too.
When I turn on bluetooth in my car to stream music my media volume is disabled. The audio does not stream through the head unit. The music just plays through the phone at really low volume. The volume rocker only adjust the call volume. I have tried going to factory stock and it worked for a while but then had the issue pop up. (I thought it might have been some apps that updated, so I uninstalled all the recent apps, but no luck) So I switched to Jedi Master ROM and it has not worked either.
I do notice when I reboot the phone volume rocker works for controlling media volume if I am playing music while not connected to bluetooth, but as soon as I turn on bluetooth it will revert to call volume instead.
I have tried A2DP, and some bluetooth repair fix apps, but no luck there.
I'm normally the problem solver type and will Google the crap out of anything before asking for help. This is one of those times where I haven't found a solution.
I have a unrooted Note 2 with stock 4.3. Before the upgrade from 4.1.2, I didn't experience these issues. They're minor issues but enough of an annoyance that I'd like some help.
Issue 1. (this issue began after 4.3) When connecting a headset for music, if I attempt to use the headset buttons to control playback, they ONLY work on the stock Samsung music player. If I try to use them on any other player, they will simply start the music player. I've attempted to disable the stock player and that option is greyed out. OCCASIONALLY the headset controls will work with music player I'm using (Rocket Player) so I'm figuring there HAS to be a way to make it consistent. What am I missing?
Issue 2. When I connect to a Bluetooth speaker, the bluetooth controls only occasionally work in controlling playback. Sometimes when I connect the controls work beautifully, other times, not at all. (this is with the stock music player as the controls only work on that when they do work) This issue only started after a factory reset post upgrading to 4.3
Any ideas?
Hey guys
Just got my OnePlus 3 today. Connected it to my powerbeats wireless headphones and it's chop city. Every button I press cuts off the sound. Tried rebooting the phone. Toggling Bluetooth but nothing works. Anyone else having this issue?
I think the problem is with the Music player app. I face similar problems when I use the native music player.
I switched to Power AMP and now I don't face any problems while using the JBL Xtreme bluetooth speakers with with One + 3
PowerAmp I have the problem where BT skip stops playback. I switched to Player Pro and enabled their launcher which has a BT auto play and button function and all is working fine. I'm sure other players can do as well. I don't use PowerAmp all the time since it's EQ fights with Viper4Android.
