Hey guys this is MicroKernel, this is the complementary kernel to the highly acclaimed MicroKat ROM!
I will work on backporting alot of features from the popular Lollipop kernels present here while maintaining good performance and battery life.

Yeah unbricked it recently, lol, took it for repair and i didnt have to give them an excuse since it was a hardware issue, glad i paid the extra 30$ for that hardware warranty lol it was an issue with the pmic (power management integrated controller), it broke charging past 3%, they fixed it and now my device charges faster and dosnt have weird behavior anymore

Thanks i will do, tomorrow morning xD i wont add MSM-hotplugging , i find it evil and mean, lol, ill use intelliplug which is much softer on battery life... welcome

just download the kernel and place it into your sd card and boot into recovery by turning off your device and holding power button and volume down button for 5 seconds and release them and you will go to fastboot and then hit the volume down and then volume up button you will go to recovery and hit install and navigate to the zip you downloaded and flash it .........:good:

note to all: b4 has i/o optimizations and new build flags, all in all, should be better performance and etc... im slowly adding features so i can isolate errors and etc...

Further information would be helpful, device (68,69 or 63,64), rom (microkat, stock kitkat, exactly what rom ), did you wipe dalvik cache and cache when flashing and what version did you flash

Because u install it whit s6 motion rom
U need to install it in motion rom of s5 not in the copy of the original motion rom

Explain me why you unpack and repack kernel without permissions. If I release a kernel without seandroid enforcing there is a good reason to do it.

It's the abbreviation for ADVANCED KERNEL TWEAKS
basically various tweaks/modifications to the kernel code to achieve desired results. Mostly used for prolonging battery life or performance improvements over your existing setup

I use AKT Magisk module on Nougat ROM. It works on Oreo as well, but I don't know for some reason it doesn't apply settings automatically after reboot. Using AKT app(check attachment) fixes this issue.

We have a newer version of these tweaks - helix engine. It incorporates dynamic profile change without you have to do anything.

Search helix engine on xda itself. It comes under one plus forums. Works for all sd 820 and sd 835 chi pests. Its an apk only

If I remember correctly Darkness was only for LOS, it could be a good idea to add this info in the title and OP. Are you planning to make it also MIUI compatible?

Thank you for the hint, I've added this on OP And about MIUI, I've never used this rom so I can't test my own kernel and I don't like this idea, but it can be a possibility on future.

It is said that the kernel is designed to work on aosp / los ROMs (without naming restrictions), so I strongly assume that it is an HMP kernel.
(Don't know if it was there before you wrote but) OP clearly says the kernel works on Oreo and Pie, so yes, - works on android 9.0.

Hm, would at least be quite misleading what the OP suggests then... I mean eas wouldn't work on all the non-eas aosp and los roms... Would be an info worth hearing... Maybe the original poster has to enlighten us.
