Any demand appa like channel 5 , channel 4

These are versions built for tv that are exclusive to amazon, the latest updates for these support newer builds of android but are exclusive to FTV3 (2017)

I've Pulled these off my new 4k fire TV stick today, will upload shortly... Unfortunately itv and 4od don't work on non Amazon devices, like my philips android TV.
my5 works provided the Amazon app store I is installed and logged in
, 4od and itv hub install but don't load icons to lean back launcher and won't run

Here are the APk's i extracted from my 4k fire tv stick last night.
the only one working on a non amazon device is my5.
all4 and itv hub appear to be wrappers not proper apps - still if someone could get them working for non amazon devices there are loads of people requesting them in various threads( shield, sony tv, philips tv etc .,pretty much all android tv devices would benefit)
OK so I tested out my5 on my shield with amazon appstore installed and logged in, I also then tried to use lucky patcher to remove amazon appstore dependencies and am still greeted with the same screen either way.

Is there a way we could maybe spoof the shield so its seen as an amazon fire TV device in the amazon appstore - then it may actually let us download directly without having to sideload.

I installed the my5 app on my philips android tv, it complained about no amazon app store when i first opened it, so installed amazon underground, then it worked no problem

I have tried this aswel but same thing for me - tells me I don't own it.
When I check amazon underground it says I need to update to the new amazon app store which I previously had installed. I wish there was a way past this - you can see it loading up all in the background and can tell it will work when you can get that message of the screen but just have no idea how
OK so I finally found a way to get this to work, install amazon appstore on any other android device that's not android TV. Install the apps from there - then when you use the apk on shield it will now say you own it and not bother you anymore. Installed my5 and is working perfectly, way better than the side loaded app I was using for all these years (would have been fine if they didn't update so now it doesn't work on android TV anymore). So thank you amazon, last mission is to get all4 from either fire TV or Sony TV somehow and then all apps will be remote friendly. The all4 amazon apps I've found seem to be wrappers and not actual apps...
I've given up trying to get all4 and ITV hub working, now using the ITV hub pluggin via plex which works a treat and removes the ads, so even the mrs likes it better than the itv hub app.

I recently bought a Fire TV Stick on a trip to another country and when I set up the device I realized that it can't access Prime Video content natively.
So I spoke with the Amazon support and they said that to access the content I needed to have bought the Fire TV Stick on the official Amazon store in my country.
Then I figured out that I could sideload the Prime Video Android app and so I did, but it's not the same thing as having the content at the start screen.
Is there any workaround to this? The only difference I could see from the device I got to the one from the official Amazon store in my country is that there is no "Alexa button" on the remote of the official one.
They call it Fire TV Stick BASIC
Everything else seems to be the same.

You could root it and then flash a US ROM.

Sideload android Amazon Prime Video Into amazon fire tv box
I have a US device Amazon Fire Tv 2015 gen2
but i live in mexico and i have my amazon account in mexico
The box is setting up with my mexican account but i can't watch mexican content. I get a player error when i press play
One idea is sideload the android app into the AFTV
but i get:

and the internal player app is com.amazon.firebat
The reason I ask is because I bought the wrong fire TV, I bought the US version when I should have bought the international version from my country. Mind you some apps work (Netflix, YouTube) in my country but not Prime Video App, is geo restricted.
I've been using the web version of prime video as a walk around but I would very much like to try the apk.
I've downloaded the Prime Video APK for nvidia shield and xiaomi tv but they seem to work a bit sluggish on my fire stick, and it often freezes.
I hope I'm not alone in this situation and someone found some sort of solution.
I have the same issue. I installed the androidTV version which seems to be working fine but the video quality is terrible. Not sure if it is the app or something else. Could not sideload the prime video apk from google app store because it is conflicting with the existing installation.

Where did you download this? I have a Xiaomi Mi Box S and have been looking for a version of Prime Video that works. It's not in my Google Play Store. Perhaps the Nvidia Shield version would work. Thanks

I bought an Fire TV Stick (1st gen) from UK, now I can't watch anything from Prime Video because I'm in Brazil.
I've downloaded the Prime Video apk from apkpure, but its installation fails, maybe because the stick it's Prime Video version already installed.

I tried AirScreen and it doesnt' be able to load
I tried to install the APK on Fire TV and start but closes inmediately
Any other ways to revieve a shared video ? Anyway to MOD the APK to works on Fire TV directly?
