Note :
Download the file in the attachment, extract it & move it to ViPER4Android/Kernel folder in internal storage and select TubeAmplifier file in Convolver. This will significantly boost the output of both the speakers without causing any distortions. [Original thread]
To disable the mod, simply uninstall it from the magisk manager.

Tested with k20p Xiaomi Eu rom,
Not work.
Try to disable audio compatibility module, still cannot hear any sound from earphone.
china dev 9.7.11, doesn't work. loudspeaker no sound. earpeice has sound, but very hot.
This mod is based on mixer files from 10.3.3, if you are on another version please provide your mixer files!

1. Extract and replace "mixer_paths_tasha.xml" in root/system/etc
2. Change the permissions to rw-r--r--
3. Restart your mobile
It Will:
1. Increase the sound from the main speakers (system-wide)
2. Enable sound from both speakers in speaker mode during a voice call

Hello Everyone! Looking for Pseudo Stereo/Dual Speaker MOD for your amazing device? If yes, then you are at the right place, I tested it on my redmi 5 plus (Original MIUI Global Stable/Developer roms, MIUI Custom roms as well), lets go through the guide
Requirements:
Unlocked Bootloader
TWRP or MAGISK your choice
Nougat 7.1
Oreo 8.1 MIUI10
Magisk SELinux Manager (Download Magisk SELinux Manger and install using volume buttons, select permissive by using volume low button then reboot)
How to install?
There are 3 easy ways to install this MOD:
1. Manually copy the files from archive "Manual" into the path of mixers and change permissions to 644 (rw- r-- r--) using root explorer.
2. Fash TWRP, Flash Nougat_TWRP_Xiaomi_Redmi_5_DualSpeaker.zip, TWRP will create a backup for your current Mixers saved in the same mixers location...
3. Or just install Magisk, install module Nougat_MAGISK_Xiaomi_Redmi_5_DualSpeaker.zip For Oreo install MAGISK_MIUI10_OREO_Redmi 5 Plus Dualspeaker.zip and reboot.
How to revert?
There are also 3 ways to revert back to Original:

Oh what a rare info u hv just gave to me, btw this mod produces stereo/dual speakers effect by using earpiece speaker, flashing this mod will take only 2 minutes so you should give a try, after trying don't forget to give feedback

Nice bro, installs fine on my G8141 (megaxp's v1.3 M-ROM zip) as in everything appears in settings where it should be. Cant test loudness right now as the kiddies and Mrs are asleep, but Im sure its up to your usual standards bro. Thank you.

Dual speaker mod needs more work & testing, to test it just flash it using magisk.

There is probably problem with name of file. Zip flash vendor/etc mixer_path_qrd but there is no file named like that on stock. Try to rename it to mixer_path.xlm

Alpha - earpiece speaker works, but it could be a little louder, cuz stereo is almost unnoticeable.

Both zips replace same file so there is no reason to flash both. Flash only dual speaker mod to see any changes.
