Problem with KVM - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Questions & Answers

Has anyone tried to turn on KVM on our phone ?
I compiled the kernel with KVM but the phone hangs on the logo. If you compile a kernel without KVM, then the kernel works.
To enable the KVM I added to the whyred-perf_defconfig:
CONFIG_VIRTUALIZATION=y
CONFIG_KVM=y
CONFIG_KVM_MMIO=y
CONFIG_KVM_ARM_HOST=y
The kernel was compiled without errors, the KVM folder with files appeared in the folder with the compiled kernel.
Maybe the kernel is not working because of MIUI ?
One person just compiled the kernels for their phones and everything works for him. Processor in one of these phones snapdraon 450. KVM workin on Honor 7c pro, honor p20 pro and samsung galaxy s8

i have redmi note 4 and wants to enable kvm virtualization ,you have done on your redmi note 5 pro but failed i wanna try..and if any buddy has way to enable kvm plz tell us

[Q] Dual Boot Android + Windows 8.x ? Is it possible

Hello,
I was thinking is there any way to install windows 8 on galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition. I know that we do not have an intel processor but maybe there is a way to bypas that and make some dual boot system? Thanks for any info.
Best Regards
Windows 8 RT is closed source so it needs too much work to boot, extremely hard to make it stable beacuse lack of drivers.

Developers have a look at the post above and help develop new rom with same which has no any non working stuff...
Don't expect CM or any other Custom ROM with FP until Leeco decides to release its kernel sources. FP patches are for device specific and cannot be ported, I tried taking a look at Roms made for Redmi note 3 (MTK Variant) and even though it had the same chipset, couldn't get FP working (I ported CM).
Let's just hope Leeco will soon change its mind and give us the code, or just drop your hopes on greeting custom roms with FP.
Cheers.

Any nethunter rom or kernel (wifi adapter supported)

Is there any kaliNethunter rom or kernel port available there for our device whyred
Using magisk we can install universal full kali net hunter on miui or any android rom
Which works almost perfectly
to do advanced stuff like wifi hacking we need a external adapter i already has a fully hacking supported wifi adapter
But the problem is to use a external adapter through otg we need a kernel which support wireless adapter, adapter driver built in
(Like most of the official device oneplus nexus lg samsung has "Any kernel" its a kernel available for nexus devices fully supports nethunter has wifi adapter built in)
Even the net hunter detects the adapter (cheked using "lsusb" command, it shows apater name chipset) but we cant do anything on off nothing because of that kernel compablity
So is there any kernel has this type of functionility available for note 5 pro whyred
If answer is no
Then im requesting Devs to make or port one
Since there is both stock and nethunter kernel source available in internet
So it will be not that difficult to port
(even previous year note 4 note 3 has a ported kernel which fully functional with net hunter)
So why not for our star
So plz its an request
We don't want a full rom either
We Just want a kernel which support wireless adapter and other functionality
Thanks in advance
+1

Possible Multirom/DualBootPatcher?

Hi! Is possible to port any of these methods on our RN8/8T?
same question with me?
If thats works - will be GREAT!...
But as Android 9 is not possible - DualBoot Patcher is not supported for work on Android 9....
(Project CLOSED & Not More Updated by Author....)
... Sad....
MultiRom
Dual Boot Patcher was best. I have used it in my older device. But Sadly it is no longer maintained as the assumption Dual Boot Patcher used was changed after pie(android 9) based rom.
MultiRom is alternative to Dual Boot Patcher which has already been ported to POCO F1. It would be nice if someone port for Redmi Note 8.

Question Is it possible to enable pKVM support for the Poco F3 manually using root, or does it require custom kernels to be made by ROM developers?

The title pretty much, the pixel 6 and 7 support pKVM, which allows us to boot Windows 11 ARM or ARM64 Linux images in a virtual machine.
I saw somewhere that it either requires root to enable, or it must be enabled when the kernel is compiled, is it possible for this to work on the F3?
Interesting question.
I think we won't get pKVM-support, unless someone gets GKIs (Generic Kernel Images) working on Alioth (or perhaps more accurately, on the Snapdragon 870 sm8250).
Our device's 4.19 Kernel is too old, and doesn't have Rust-support, which I think is needed to run the crosvm VM Manager. It's part of Android 13's Virtualisation-Module, under the package-name "com.android.virt"
The Pixel 6 and 7 are running a much newer kernel, and it's GKI.
I don't know about pKVM-Support of other GKI devices. There could be more requirements for pKVM-support (besides arm64, GKI-based Kernel and Android 13).
Here are some articles I checked out:
