I have just tried to build wiki-lineageos-org/devices/a5y17lte/build and I get a 404 error, which I suppose is not good. Error message here:

So is it possible to download a compiled version of LineageOS 14.1 for Samsung Galaxy A5?

I don't have this device myself but, I had located the last Official LineageOS 14.1 build (specific to that device) someone had uploaded on AFH (though that individual had placed it under the wrong device there).

It says it is for Galaxy A7, where I have an Galaxy A5. Can I safely use that one?

As i can tell, the Lineage Team hasn't released any Official LineageOS for the GS6 as of yet.
Regarding any Oreo releases, the following link is the very recent Official Lineage Changelog #15. Please take note of the "Oreo Update" entry.

Isn't there any lineage os 15.1 rom for samsung galaxy j700h? I found out that the lineage rom of other model of samsung galaxy j7 series shows the error for not installing on the device. So can u guys help it out??

I don't have this device but, your errors are typical to trying to flash Firmware for a different J7 variant. Also, there's no Official release of the LineageOS Firmware for the J700H (aka J7 2015).

Hi,
I recently installed LineageOS 15 on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 for the first time. Actually, I'm pretty happy with it and try to find my way around.
However, there is a serious problem: I cannot play videos within apps (e. g. within Chrome or the YouTube app), no matter what site I've opened. Either the screen stays black or the message "The Format is not Supported" appears. Playing videos with the MX Player Pro, however, works without any problems. I suspect it has something to do with HTML5 or Flash.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix the problem?

I don't have this device but, since there's no Official LineageOS 15.1 released, it looks like you had used the Unofficial version.
Your best bet is to post this question for support within the following Unofficial LineageOS 15.1 thread that's specific to your device.

Thanks a lot. That helped much. It really seems to be an issue of the unofficial LineageOS 15.1 version. I wasn't aware of that. Other users have the same issue with the videos.
I will probably install the LineageOS 14 version which is supposed to work more stable.

I can't seem to find any mention of a LineageOS build for the Nexus 7 2012 (grouper). I know there has to be, because I'm running 14.1 on mine right now. Does anyone know where I can find an updated build, or something similarly lightweight?
*Edit* Nevermind! I just saw that I have an unofficial build. So I guess now my question is: any 15.x build for grouper?

There's never been any Official LineageOS builds for this specific device. All that's available to you is the following Unofficial LineageOS 14.1 for your device. There's no LineageOS 15.1 released yet but, that's not to state that there will never be one either.

After trying LineageOS 15.1 on my Samsung Galaxy S5 (G900I, kltedv) I found my battery was draining very quickly, only getting 2hrs from full charge. I know that LineageOS 14.1 is easier on the battery life so I would like to install this ROM, however, if I go to lineageoslog.com/14.1/kltedv and try to download the latest available ROM, "lineage-14.1-20180706-nightly-kltedv-signed.zip", all I get is 404's.
I've tried to use Google to find other mirrors, but they all 404.
Does anyone know how I can obtain the latest available version of Lineage OS 14.1 for my kltedv?

I don't have this variant myself but, if you looked at the following Official LineageOS downloads area for the kltedv...

... You'll see that it's not there because, (as with all Official LineageOS builds) when the Lineage Team Maintainer for the kltedv (Haggertk) had began releasing the Official LineageOS 15.1 builds, this marked the end of the Official LineageOS 14.1 releases from that point.
But, you will be able to locate Unofficial LineageOS 14.1 builds for the kltedv on the following link by Haggertk.

Thankyou, I have installed 14.1 and used it for a few days. Performance is great, however I still only get about 2hrs battery life from a full charge.
