Hello everyone
I wanted to change my phone language to German from English but I'm unable to do that. There's no german language installed. There's no option to download extra language packs too. Is there any way?
The phone is bought in Asia
My phone not rooted.

You can change the language, as it got multiple language. Bring the drop down notification menu and hit the settings icon on top right corner. Then go to "Language & Input" (look for a white key icon with "A" in it). The first option within that is the language selection.
If even after changing to English, you see Chinese apps, then its the Chinese firmware that is on your mobile. You should then update to the International version firmware. That firmware is downloadable from here: http://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=17022

When you download the file i linked, there is a pdf file that explains how to update it. It is simple to do, so no worries.
Idk about rooting. But no need for any rooting to use the above file.

why do u want english?
If you want to root..you need a pc and use eroot..

How do I go about changing S Voice to UK English, The only list I see is English USA Deutsch etc,, Is it possible to download to a non rooted device? My device is a N900T USA spec t mobile. thanks.

Open Svoice, and click the menu button on the bottom of the phone. First option is Voice

In S voice I pressed the menu then settings, first choice is language and I cannot see UK English listed.

What rom are you using. GO to language and settings and install UK voice. then go back to S Voice and select it.

Stock rom. I already downloaded TTS UK English to no avail. Perhaps I need to download something else ?

Im in Hong Kong in 4.1.2 version Android, I using English as my default language, when I restart my phone, it change back to Chinese, how do I fix this not change my language every time when I restart my phone ?:crying:

Well most advised method is a factory reset...but note it will delete your data...use caution

For some reason I have the same problem from today. I have set my language to English, but when I restart it changes to German - which was the country I purchased my Note 2

I have experienced this too starting last night... But mine changes from English to French.
I'm searching for the reason and solution now, and I find that we all encounter this today! (or yesterday considering timezone)
Started to happen from yesterday to mee too, languages changes to Italian after restart. I downloaded from Google Play app called "Language enabler" and disabled all languages but English, but after restart language changed to Italian again....
Same here on a Galaxy Tab 3 7"
Reboot sets my to Greek (I think)
Same for me, started yesterday, it' s very annoying and I dont want to Factory Reset, but I found something in the logcat which seems to be the source of the problem (maybe)

Mine happened as well. It changed to Russian from the default English.
Super SU Bug
The language change on reboot is a bug introduced by the most recent update of SuperSU (1.69, I think). Chainfire says (on Google+) that he's figured it out and it will be fixed in his next update, so patience all! (I'm experiencing the problem too!)

I almost thought its coz my s3 is a korean version that it changes its language by itself when i restart it... thanks.. do you happen to know when will the next update come??... or if i uninstall the recent update on supersu, will it get rid of the bug too??

Solved!!!! Here is what I did:
Go to Settings --> Application Manager --> All --> SuperSu
Choose "Uninstall update".
Reboot phone.
Open Google Play(market), and update SuperSu to latest version.
After this I rebooted phone and language English again!

Ya same problem for me. Glad I found this thread, i was one minute away from a fact reset.
Same problem here. I fixed it uninstalling SuperSU and installing SuperUser.
Perform downgrade to 1.65 or wait for update.
this is what I did
Open supersu then goto settings then language and change it from default language to your language of choice. I rebooted my phone and it stayed on my selected language which is English UK
bug supersu v1.69
nothing works for me ...when this issue will be fixed Mr chainfire ???

Chainfire is working on a beta version. Tried it and it fixed the language issue.

Just want to ask if you happen to log-in in your Huawei ID to enable download on the Music Player with V6.1.12. I can't seem to log-in hence, can't download online music.
You can update Huawei's new Music Player via Huawei App Center.

Thanks but I think that, it did not solve my concern. The update is good but the problem is that you can not log-in in your Huawei ID and returns an "invalid username/password". Please try it to know what I am talking about.
Note: without rooting your P6.

Sorry I forgot a part of my reply. But for downloading you will maybe be forced to follow this thread. And maybe this thread resolve the connection problem too i haven't test it i'm not on official Rom.
And if the build.prop block this functionality there's no other ways .. you need to modify it

This is very simple to fix you need Root
Download Region Changer from Google play store and change your region to English(US) and than log in to your account after that simple change the language back to Spanish
