About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Not working on my indian dual sim variant i.e xt1572..none of the sims getting dectected...kindly mention it in the op so that other people know before flashing

Hmmm after first boot i was getting an error saying i was low on internal space(i have 11GB free) after a reboot that went away, but i dont have service. It shows that im connected to sprint with LTE, but whenever i call my phone it goes straight to voicemail. When I boot my phone up it says activating phone but just sits there. After i press skip it seems data is working but when i try to make a call it switches to roaming and wont let me complete a call and data goes off. This was on Clean flash with Banks Gapps
Edit: this may just be sprint BC after I went back to my primary ROM(truepurex )the same thing is happening(straight to voicemail and roaming when try to make a call) although I wasn't having this problem anywhere until flashing this ROM...anyone know how I can fix this? Already tried flashing the MM Modem...

Consider restoring EFS if you have a TWRP backup of it. That has resolved similar sounding problems for me in the past.
It was on a different device. I flashed an experimental rild and lost connectivity until I restored EFS.

Should sync fine. I let it sit for awhile and it synced properly.
Theme Manager is FCing. And it is telling me my SD card is corrupt and needs to be formatted, just trying to use it as portable storage.. Restored backup and my SD card is fine.

I'm using a 32gb Samsung SD without issue. Try putting it in another device running a custom os to verify. I had a old 4gb SD before that was corrupt and couldn't be fixed. Might just be time to get a new one.

The SD card works fine in Windows/Linux and other ROMS including Bliss, AICP, and RR. it is a 128 GB sandisk only 2 months old.

Don't use open gapps, I had issues with those. Try rebooting after everything is setup and let it sit a little while.

Strange. My previous one was a sandisk as well. I'll double check and make sure no patches are missing in our base.

Consider restoring EFS if you have a TWRP backup of it. That has resolved similar sounding problems for me in the past.
It was on a different device. I flashed an experimental rild and lost connectivity until I restored EFS.

Thanks. tried just restoring just EFS but still wouldnt work... Finally after a complete wipe and restoring a backup i'm back up and running

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days -- it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and gained contributors in the process. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew further with experience and learned a lot more along the way.
It has been an awesome learning experience and it's still not over! We are still learning, striving to grow each day, and continuing to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We do not believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going comes out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All that we do ask is that you have patience, search for answers prior to posting, read, and try to enjoy the process with us!!

I'm getting a FC from the theme chooser, what gives?
This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currently an issue that we are aware of and are addressing. For now, after you've changed the density -- reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

Is the Rom pre-rooted ? Does it work with chainfires 2.74 Beta, same as Termasek's Build ?
EDIT: It is pre-rooted and SuperSU v.2.74 works fine.
I have some RIL problems and also some with the SD-Card (in Recovery it still works fine), but in the Rom there is the message, that the SDcard is broken and i should format. I will format it, after i backuped the data.
Rom is very stable, lot´s of nice features!

Edit 2: I think the Rom doesn´t support ext4, but I'm not sure. After formatting via Rom it works fine.
RIL wasn't a Real Problem, so only the APN didn´t match automatically (sry)

@beroid What are the advantages of this ROM than Temasek's ROM? I already like Temasek more than any ROM out there and don't want to end up reinstalling all my heavy apps again.
Wow! I really like this. I have Viper4android dolby atmos Sony beats working great on it. This is a great rom with a great kernel and a great developer. I am using this as my daily driver now. Thanks for your brilliant work @beroid.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days -- it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and gained contributors in the process. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew further with experience and learned a lot more along the way.
It has been an awesome learning experience and it's still not over! We are still learning, striving to grow each day, and continuing to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We do not believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going comes out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All that we do ask is that you have patience, search for answers prior to posting, read, and try to enjoy the process with us!!

This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currently an issue that we are aware of and are addressing. For now, after you've changed the density -- reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

Try to use hw folder from cm amd check ... Just try it... I used to change this folder for my ported rom for proximity issues..

Unable to set ringtone apart from built in tunes . anybody else can confirm ,?

My -bad- analysis
-It seems battery life is sick. But i have tested it just a few hours. Anyways it looks (imo) amazing
-performance wise i havent seen any lag or whatever. Feels really smooth. Just out of curiosity i ran antutu and got 60k with very bad signal not even LTE and 40 degree so glad this snapdragon didnt explode haha. Got 80k with laggy roms here so as i said, curiosity. Fast as **** for my usage (i dont run 6 games at once, etc) heavy usage tho
-features of this rom make you to dont need xposed in any way (maybe youtube adaway, but nothing else, maybe something niche if you wish...)
-why CMTE over layers though? Just curious
Overall looks so promising i feeling im using my beloved nexus 5 (software wise). Hope this keeps going on!
Tested Boeffla kernel didn't boot with beta 5 and Ben's kernel breaks WiFi..
Cannot disable hardware buttons. Flashed zip too but lights remain on..
ROM is pretty snappy and fast didn't test battery life

Smart pixels is not included with this build. Also any thoughts on how to fix the OK GOOGLE detection issue? It works on my phone (h930) but only when I say twice hey Google! Not a major issue at all.. Testing it for a day now. Performance is great and also battery life. Digital well being doesn't work as it should but this is really a non issue. Fm radio works but the sound only works through the headphones.. when I press the speaker icon it still plays through the headphones.

New update is coming today or tomorrow with some fixes, it took my hole day to work smart pixels. But now here it is.
for OK Google it should not be any issue, install open gapps, it works fine for me.

A lot of bugs on H932 here. I can't pull down the statusbar to qs and home and recents in navigation bar don't work. I can touch these buttons and see the animation without effect. Still thanks to the dev since there are very few devs making 932 ROMs.

There is new update, try that,
I don't have H932, but ROM should work there as well, if you were using any other ROM before then you should have clean install.
Thanks for the update. Fonts and SmartPixels now do work flawlessly. Maybe I am wrong, but wasn't there a Quick Settings switch for Smart Pixels? Because I have none. Not that this is a real big Problem

Can't use LG camera, as it's not stock based ROM.
I can confirm (H932) Dac, AOD/Ambient Display, bluetooth, customization, Lawnchair (UI) actions, all work. I haven't found a broken feature during my short time but i will continue to try different things. Battery life/standby seems very good so far. Sitting at 72% at 2h 57min of SoT, enabling me to push a second day of battery tomorrow . Very happy, i will be following this post closely, thank you for your work ^.^

My mistake. I found the problem was caused by the Google patch. Everything works fine now. Good job!
Been struggling to get Custom Roms to install on my LG v30 H932. Used Runnings method to get twrp and root on the phone while back. I have installed a few different roms LR, Lineage, Pixel Experience, Potato, RR. Have had them installed and running with no issues. But as of recently I can't get any of the newer versions to install. Nothing has changed on the phone and it's still running twrp 3.2.3-7. All I've been able to get working is a Jan version of Potato and RR, none of the Feb/ Mar versions of Roms will install. Everything gets stuck at the boot animation. Any suggestions would help. I'd like to try out Havoc-OS but it gives the same issue as other roms being stuck at boot animation.

AudioFX not working stuck at loading.
Dialer recorder can't find the setting idk if it's working.
GA 2.0 seems working because it's a bit different.
Also audio casting is working for me in my google home. I might try it on my TV if it has any issue.

if u say the info in the lockscreen, that info is bugged (for curtana devices) use any app like ampere and u will see the correct info for me fast charge works fine (joyeuse Miui 11.0.3 fw)

I did a dirty flash today and I don't know if it's okay that I install it in this order:
*Flash ROM
*Flash Magisk
*Wipe cache
*Reboot to system
Also any advice on what ROM should I Install? I mostly do gaming in this device.
I'm Comparing this ROM to Xperience Project because I like ROM where you are involved it's pretty stable, any thought? Thanks in advance.
Is the Yuki kernel in this ROM the same with Yuki Kernel you post? Or is it better to install the seperate one?

*Fast Charging is working perfectly to me my device is joyeuse

Overall very stable Rom, fast and very responsive especially in gaming performance, battery consumption is normal since im playing with high graphics unlike other roms that consume a lot of battery. im using this in my daily driver.

I'm just checking because I remember klozz said on Xperience Project thread that the kernel that comes in XPerience ROM is a lite version of Yuki Kernel.
The screen recording audio is in mono how do I make it stereo?

Overall very stable Rom, fast and very responsive especially in gaming performance, battery consumption is normal since im playing with high graphics unlike other roms that consume a lot of battery. im using this in my daily driver.

I'll check the issue thnks for the log saturday or sunday new update will be available (Unfortunately I won't be able to test it so let me know if the WFD keeps crashing)

Is still lite version But use the version that you like the most, whether it is the one that comes precompiled or the one that I release aside.
