Stuck on bootloop, please help! :( - Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Questions & Answers

Hello everyone!
Wanted to try out a custom rom and I was following this guide ( https:// github.com/tkchn/daisyinstall/blob/master/README.md )and after
- Double click on flash_all.bat
- Wait for the process to be finished
my phone keeps turning on and off only to show the androidone logo.
Everything that I used is from this site's links.
Now even if I could go back to use stock I would be happy^^ ...
Tried to look around for some solutions but so far nothing seems to work.

Did you capture the output?
Can you get to fastboot? Try to flash again and capture the output.

Hello!
Thanks for your reply. Since yesterday I have reinstalled adb and platform tools. Turned out something was wrong with it. After that everything worked. Used the same img files as before and the phone booted up nicely. Now I'm back on stock rom and thinking about trying again to install a custom rom.

[Q] Soft bricked D855

Hi
Really appreciate any ideas on how to fix my LG G3.
Purchased phone on eBay - not sure where it's from but have asked buyer (if anyone knows how, I suspect this is part of my problem). Decided to flash new ROM but, when I installed AndroidNowHD1.4, I started to see lots of com.phone.android that made the phone essentially unusable. I then tried another ROM - SphinxG3NeoV2 - to see if that made a difference. Now when the phone boots, it goes to a Fastboot prompt.
I can get into Recovery OK, and Download mode. When I try the LGFlashTool to install TOT/DLL firmware, it's failing and seems to have an issue getting the IMEI and PID from the phone. Ive also tried installing a KDZ file using a FlashTool and that also is failing.
Many thanks in advance for suggestions!
Cheers,
Gavin

What is it that makes you say it has issues with the IMEI when flashing out of interest?
What the error with flash tool?
We can help you unless you get specific with the error messages dude.

Hi there,
I had the softbrick when I tried flashing the TWRP recovery image and screwed up. The phone didn't start up anymore and didn't go into recovery either. Just a black screen saying [680]fastboot. (on a D855).
Solution:
* Go to youtube,
* Type Unbrick LG G3,
* Open the video from ZEDOMAX,
* Follow the tutorial, all the links are in the description below.
With me, the first time I tried flashing the stock ROM it stoppedd at 15%, the seccond time at 94%, the third time it went all the way. Make sure wait long enough before you disconnect the USB cable. (The screen must be on 3!)
This should solve you problem.
Appologies for the weirdd description to get to the video. I'm new here so I can't popst direct links yet

Hi
Many thanks for responding.
WJ - I was following a similar video but when I watched your suggestion, he made a bit of a deal about digging out an old windows laptop. I was using windows in VMWARE on my mac. I tried it using Boot Camp and it seems to have worked.

Is my phone gone forever ?

Hey guys, i was trying to install a custom ROM in my cell phone Lineage OS. At first all i got was "Secure Boot error" when i tried to enter Recovery mode ( after i flashed TWRP, ofc. ) Well then i followed this tutorial :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/help-secure-boot-error-trying-to-boot-t3054977
Then when i flashed with this Bump'd TWRP : http://downloads.codefi.re/thecubed/lg_g3/bump/
(LG D855P) my phone just turned off and won't turn on again, when i take off the battery, it shows a battery icon with "?". Is it hardbricked ? i got no warranty left, what should i do ?
It sounds like your phone might be on the brink. I don't think its past saving yet though. Have you tried the process for flashing it back to stock? A link to the process is below:

I can't even enter on Download mode.
Edit: Tried to flash anyway, wont work
Try this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/guide-fix-hard-brick-recovery-guide-t3132359 This should get you to the point where you'll be able to use the method I previously linked.
Any updates?

Bootloader unlock bootloop on 2.0

Hey guys,
So I was able to return my HW to a normal state on AW 2.0. It turns out as soon as I unlock the bootloader, it goes into a bootanimation bootloop (a few times, it displayed an error then finally booted AW). And I can't get into the stock recovery. It seems like this one is screwed up somehow. Flashing TWRP works though.
I really don't understand this. I thought this was supposed to be like a Nexus/Pixel device. Has anyone else experienced this behavior? I would really like to unlock it and flash Negalite ROM.
Thanks!
Edit: OK so the watch only works if I flash the custom ROM from AW 1.5 using TWRP. It goes all the way and doesn't bootloop. SO WEIRD.
---------------
Original post:
Hi everyone,
I got my HW today and it's already messed up! I've been flashing ROMs and such for a long time now but I'm stomped. Initially, I wanted to install Negalite ROM.
Here's what happened:
- I used my watch for a bit on 1.5, connected it to my phone, did the initial setup and OTA updated to 2.0.
- I decided to unlock the bootloader. Worked but watch got stuck on a recovery bootloop (with the open bugdroid). Managed to get rid of it by factory resetting through TWRP (which I fastbooted).
- Watch was restarting (on 2.0) but got stuck on another bootloop (on Nougat bootanimation). Sat there for about 20 min.
- I decided to downgrade to 1.5. Used fastboot to flash boot.img, recovery.img and system.img. The system.img gave me an error at first while flashing but proceeded all the way (9 steps out of 9) with success (?)
- Now the watch is still stuck on bootanimation (I think it's the MM one, with the flying around dots) and won't go any farther.
Note: I can get into fastboot and TWRP 3.0.3 is installed. But multiple factory resets from TWRP don't change anything. I can't adb push anything to the watch from TWRP either (I tried the ADB sideload option). ADB drivers should be OK on my Windows 7 x64 machine (I used Google drivers from the SDK).
Any HELP please? I really don't know what to do now since I can't push any file to the watch... and I've read many threads on here to no avail.
Thanks in advance.
edit: IT BOOTED! I used a different system.img (the one from sturgeon-m6e69f-factory-e659286a.tgz) and flashed it with fastboot and IT WORKED! Thanks to whoever posted this version! Now I will try again to install Negalite.

Moto M XT1662 Hard Bricked! Blank Screen, Not charging. NEED HELP.

Long story short, my phone came from China and did not have Google Apps installed. I tried to root it with some youtube method and the boot.img file got changed, not knowing what to do next I gave it to repair shop.
They somehow managed to restore the stock rom and gave me the stock rom.zip file as well but the IMEI was removed, so after trying a few methods I realized my phone doesn't get detected in META Mode but somehow gets detected if it's turned off and connected directly. I thought should install the stock firmware again by myself.
I first tried it with Download mode only, it loaded a few files but gave some error like IMGHDR_TYPE_MISMATCHED. After that it got stuck on boot screen.
So instead of the download option in SP tool I chose Format All + Download.
The thing is my phone does not get detected in META Mode so I thought it wouldn't change anything but now the phone doesn't turn on. The screen is blank, nothing happens with phone is connected to charger.
If I connect the phone to PC, it detects a Preloader Port Android (COM 7) on device manager for a few seconds then goes off, then keeps going on and off like it's trying to boot but doesn't boot.
Please help. This phone can't be sent back to china because the warranty is possibly void as this phone has been used about 6 months and also been tried for rooting.
It still gets connected via SP Tool but gives the same error after loading a few files. Image Attached.

Any help in this regard would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
I had the same initial issue, so I did the "Format All + Download" on the SP Tool with a ROM I downloaded and it flashed successfully and everything works fine now, it even auto updated to the Android 7.0 and the latest security patches (05/08/18).
I cannot remember from where I got the ROM I used but I can upload it for you, if you want/need it.
The only issue is that I lost my IMEI. When I find a way to fix it I will let you know.

I followed that and I successfully restored my lost IMEI, everything works fine now.
Hope it helps.

NERVOUS about flashing Lineage 18 :-(

HI,
I am not new to flashing phones and tablets, but I am a bit confused about the new partition format.
I have a nokia 6.1.
I want to flash the official lineage 18 ROM on it.
I downloaded the latest version , and also the latest lineage recovery.
I followed the install instructions on the website . I believe, exactly.
But after I have executed this command '' fastboot flash boot xxxxx.img"" to temporarily boot recovery, the phone stays in download mode and does nothing.
I then thought maybe I need to reboot?, and power down, because the next thing on the lineage install instructions is to start the phone having powered down.
Anyways, when it boots up, it hangs and stays on the android one screen.
Power/Volume up does nothing.
Whats worse is, it is no longer recognised in ADB.
I was really worried. I let the battery die overnight, and then tried to get some response, but no - still stuck.
Finally, after more fiddling, I got it into download mode, and was able to flash stock using OST.
I tried again - same thing, and once again luckily managed after an hour or so to get it into download mode.
So I have reflashed stock, and wondering if somebody a lot brighter than me can give some advice??
Currently on stock android 10, but would much prefer lineage 18 , as I have no need for google services.
Can only think something is going wrong with whichever partition I am temporarily booting to recovery?
Many Thanks ( with a relieved sigh for escaping a brick )

Something similar happened to me, it turns out that from android 10 stock you have to first:
fastboot flash recovery xxxx.img
you will get an error in the cmd, that's good, now
fasboot boot xxxx.img
.
this was mentioned a long time ago but was never mentioned more in other threads
if you get stuck you can use ost la. also remember the slot A B when you flash the rom
