Hello, thanks to my carelessness, I think I broke my dual sim functionality.
What I was doing was messing around in the network settings in Engineer mode that can be accessed using *#36446337#. And all of a sudden, both sims stopped working. After a lot of messing around with the RAT settings, I could get one of the sims working. After selection sim1 or sim2 in the options and changing the RAT settings for that sim, I can get said sim to work, but it breaks the other. No matter what I do, I can't get both working again. This was on Open Beta 9.
What I've tried doing since then:
1- Factory reset
2- Flashing another ROM (Lineage)
3- Flashing latest 4.0.4 firmware
nothing seems to get both sims to work. Always just 1 sim working. Does anyone have any thoughts what I could try?

Just do a full wipe with the unbrick tool and everything will be back to normal.
I have the same problem after I mess with the engineer mode.
Tried everything and still unsolved.
Try installing the modem or firmware of previous oxygen OS builds then updating the oxygen os

Yes, I tried the unbrick tool but it's still the same. It seems to me that the GSM/WCDMA band of the phone is broken. When put two LTE card into the phone, both can work under LTE band.

Installed the OOS3.0 and then updated to OOS4.0. Dual sim function won't work on both OS.
Flashing modem usually can solve signal lost on Samsung, but it seems that it won't work on Oneplus.

Well you just said you are a noob.. No problem but really dialing a number isn't going to break anything in your phone.. Wipe all partitions then Flash OOS 4.0.2 and o guarantee it will work, this is pure something in software level.
I have successfully fix the problem according to a post at Oneplus Community in China. Just Flash Official H2OS 2.5 (Android 6.0.1 ). Go to engineer mode. Choose Network Set -- Band mode --Hardware Default (Foreign) to fix the problem.
P.S. If you are in mainland China. Pls choose Hardware Default(China). Else choose (Foreign)

Hello
I will try to be simpler as i can
I have a MI MAX Prime (4GB/128)
Everything was ok and working right until MIUI 8.2.3.0 OTA arrived.
After update my phone started to experience Network disconnects and reconnects, "NO SIM Card, NO NETWORK, VIRGIN 4G", This happens at random periods but more often when i wake up phone from idle.
Nobody on Xiaomi Forums helped me, not even developers, Phone carrier told me to change sim card but problem persisted.
3 sympthoms.
1. After upgrading to 8.2.3.0 i can't search for networks manually. (http://attach.en.miui.com/forum/201705/09/033557amdkj2j33bkmyybm.jpg)
2. I use a MVNO which says i must use Roaming even locally, but this NEVER worked even if activated (http://attach.en.miui.com/forum/201705/09/233925hg9b3p55hm3pcpk9.png.thumb.jpg)
3. I noticed this weird pattern while charging (http://i.imgur.com/SPtvuqY.png)
I have done a factory reset and a rom flash via EDL, but problem remains.
I really don't know what to do now
Thanks in advance for your assistance
Well I am on the 8.2.5 Mi Max (not prime) & you can choose network manually by:
Settings - Sim card and mobile networks - tap on the preferred sim card - mobile networks & switch off the chose automatically and select preferred one.
You have to describe beter what is happening with your network connection. Does it gets blocked or disconnects completely (aka ril restarts) also does switch on/of air-plane mode resolves it?

Yeah, thing is i can't choose a network manually everytime it gives this

In half a second Network disconnects and reconnects,
first "NO SIM Card"
Then "NO NETWORK"
Then "VIRGIN 4G",
It disconnects and reconnects every time.
Specially when unlocking the phone
Notice there is not airplane mode activated

It works hire.
Try rolling back to older versions, 8.1.9.0 is enlisted on official page.

Obviously somehow RIL is getting stuck & re-initializing (restarting). Can you direct me to a MiUI forum url where you failed complain/bug report.

Definitely a software one, simply something didn't fit in (either a RIL or related cellular radio libs) good when you updated so you need to revert to previous one with other RIL and libs. Then you can try again with 8.2.3.0...
Flashed to 8.2.1.0 with miflash via EDL mode.
Problem remains... Seriously WtH?

Assuming that your bootloader is unlocked I suggest you flash exactly the version with which the phone came, I flash ever with any issue via adb-fastboot placing decompress rom files in the same folder in c: with option "flash all".

Please wipe all data in Recovery mode if you want to update to a discontinuous ROM version, or downgrade to an older ROM version using MIUI full ROM pack.
I don't have access to recovery mode since i don't have TWRP and my phone is bootloader locked
After downgrading to 8.2.1.0 and rebooting twice the problem has been fixed, it's been 48 hours and there is no more issue
it's really sad that NOBODY at Xiaomi forums/Help desk/ customer support gave a single S#it about it.
If you are going to purchase a Xiaomi phone, think it twice, there is 0 support. Besides XDA.

You should check your IMEI *#06#
If IMEI is missing:
Open the file imei.qcn using hex editor and looking for value:
Code:
08 8A 96 72 01 42 99 81 05 - Sim 1
08 8A 96 72 01 42 99 81 86 - Sim 2

Hi everyone,
I am using a Oneplus 3 A3000 China variance. It was shipped with Hydrogen OS.
So i have unlock it and managed to flash it to Oxygen OS, as i need to use google services.
Everything was working perfectly fine until a couple of months later. I saw that Oreo is out and thus decided to upgrade it.
Using official method with stock recovery, i have managed to upgrade to the latest OxygenOS 5.0 using the below link
Oneplus 3 OOS5.0
I have followed the guide closely. Then after it reboot, my phone is no longer having service.
It will show my network SINGTEL (No service)
I have read close to 50 forums before i decided to post and seek help.
My phone info
OnePlus 3 A3000
Oxygen OS 5.0
Android 8.0 Oreo
Kernel version 3.18.66
Build number A3000_16_171116
Baseband MPSS.TH.2.0.c.1.9-00102-M8996FAAAANAZM-1.99649.1.118107.1
Stock recovery
Non root
Fingerprint, camera wifi all works
Both imei are still shown
Here is what i have already tried which all fails on me
1) Verified that Sim is not faulty. Have tested with 3 different working sim cards and it all shows no service on both Sim 1 and Sim, but works on my other phone
2) Tried using only one sim card at a time for sim1 and repeat with sim 2, same result as above
3) Remove sim card, power on phone and boot fully, power off phone and insert sim card and power it on again
4) Reset to default access point. Copied all settings from another phone using same telco access point setting and ensure its the default sim for data and services
5) Using *#*#46463*3* and set preferred network type
6) On the same menu, disable mobile radio power and reboot
7) Perform factory reset from phone phone system setting
8) Redownload OOS5.0 and reflash rom using stock recovery
9) Relock bootloader
Any help is greatly welcome. Phone no longer have warranty so i can't head back to the service centre.
Thanks for reading

Just updated to 5.0.1 through OTA. Unfortunately, it still did not solve the issue
Take SIM out. Reboot phone. Once powered-up, put SIM back in. This worked for me, even though it's a pain.

Have performed that too on my point 3
Tried something new today. Flashed back to Hydrogen OS hoping that it can detect my sim network
But sadly, it still does not detect.
I have a Mi Max 3 global version (M1804E4A) which has simply stopped working on 4G/LTE network. I have been using the same carrier and I have also checked by moving the sim-card to another device where LTE works just fine. I have moved the SIM-card from one slot to the other, tried manually selecting network but only 3G or 2G networks appears on the list. Also did the airplane mode and various types of resetting.
Is my best bet a hardware defect or has Xiaomi bricked the phone with an update?
MIUI version 10.3.3
Kernel 4.4.153-perf+
Reinstall the firmware

Okay thank you! Will try it in a few days time once I am able to give it the time needed.
It is happening to me too, I'm on stock 13.0.4 SKHMIXM, bootloader locked, it happened in 13.0.3 too. Sometimes, I see I have no services, no data, no GPS. But WiFi works great, so if I'm in house I don't always see it, but it means I cannot receive call!!!
I tried to enable/disable sim/data/location/airplane/etc nothing works.
Only way to re-make it works is to reboot the phone, and after 2 or 3 weeks it will happen again, this is the price to pay to have cheap chinese phone...
Try booting into Android with Safe Mode. (and disable Airplane Mode if enabled)
Power + Volume Up > Safe Mode
Or try this:
Settings > Updater > Tap on the "13" several times, this will enable additional Updater-features. Download the latest package and install it.
My guess is that your update may have been corrupt.
Other than that.. Factory Reset or connecting phone to PC and flashing ROM using Fastboot & Mi Flash or Terminal.
I've 13.0.7 and everything's flawless.
So the Xiaomi service center told me that it is possibly a motherboard issue. How can a software update suddenly awaken a hardware issue?
So I had not unlocked my bootloader via my Mi account and it needs mobile data for the same and hence I am unable to flash it since my network is still unavailable even after a factory reset. Any other way I can flash my phone with an older version of MIUI or I will have to submit my phone to the service center?

Could you elaborate the whole process? I do not know how to do this. Thanks
Same issue i am facing after MIUI updation for 13.0.3.0 SJCINXM ... suddenly all networks are vanished ... if i do manual search for networks then i get a message 'Couldn't search for mobile networks' . Voice call is only possible if wifi is enabled.. This is really a horrible experience and i am unable to find out a way to get rid of this situation.. I am using Redmi 9 Prime handset .. Before this update everything was surperb and flawless.
It is still happening with the latest Android 13 and MIUI14, it's frustrating... sometimes when the phone switch wifi/lte/wifi/lte/etc when you go outside, the modem crashes, it internally bootloop and the phone becomes warm and can lose 25% battery in like 15 minutes. Only way is to reboot the phone.
I had a similar problem. Were you able to solve it?
