Hey guys, I wanted to ask some of you guys that know more than me about this topic what's a good course of action here. I had a 6T for a while and appreciated having the adapter in the box, then traded that for a 7 Pro! Much to my surprise, no adapter in the box (as you all know at this point having bought the same device). So I go to the OP website and realize this is ROBBERY! For a small headphone adapter???
Point of this post, what is a good alternative that is cheaper, and has better or at least comparable sound output for our 7 Pro? OnePlus is high to be selling the adapter that high and not giving us one after blowing nearly $800 on the device itself! (I did, I bought the 12GB model!)
Goto Amazon and type in "usb-c to 3.5 mm headphone jack adapter".
Only thing special about Oneplus is that it's red.

I've seen people talking a out DACs and such on here, like, saying that some adapters are cleaner quality than others? I know nothing about this myself. Did some forum reading here but still unsure what any of this is.
I've also seen posts that say an adapter without a DAC won't even work with the 7 Pro?
The 1st & 3rd links that came up for me specifically mentioned Oneplus.
(I'd screenshot but it's not letting me)

Alright I checked Amazon and eBay since my last reply, and they DO mention OnePlus. That makes things easier. I wonder how the sound quality is though. eBay has some SUPER cheap adapters, but I wonder about quality [emoji848] Thanks for the info man, appreciate that.

There's not really anything state-of-the-art going on here. I have no reason not to believe that those cables are as good, if not better, than the Oneplus one. Wouldn't even be surprised if they came out of the same factory.
Plus Amazon return policy is great.
Not happy, return it.

The one for the Google Pixel 2 right? I see it on eBay for about $9, which is a far more attractive price than the $20 OnePlus is asking, after shipping costs and all!

Avoid adapters for the Pixel phones as those include DACs that are not only unnecessary and more expensive but also result in subpar volume according to other users' experiences.
Check the other adapter thread in this section of the forum for more information.

Yes that is the one that works for me, although I purchased it on amazon, so I had the choice of returns. I don't have volume issues. Try it out and return it, if you don't like it. I also tried the essential adpater and that one didn't function as well.
Using this one. Works fine with the phone.

I believe the micro usb storage/flash drives are just starting to come out. You can skip the OTG all together. Think I saw one posted here not too long ago. Maybe dig a little deeper.
And another option http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/0...not-discriminate-between-pcs-and-smartphones/

Yeah I did do some digging and initially looked at the micro flash drives. The option you mentioned is $30 for 32gb whereas my option for 64gb only $10 more and would be about the same size dimensionally. Thanks for the insight though.
I found these on eBay earlier today:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MicroSD-Card-Reader-with-Mini-USB-Sync-Cable-/220584799910
I haven't ordered yet but I like them better than the other micro USB microSD card readers I've found because they are really small and have a lanyard. You can attach it to your keys or add it to a dust plug like a cell phone charm. The listing has other HTC models, so I assume it works with the One.

Nice find. But 64gb setup would be $60, I want cheapest/functional (I'm at $40).

You can buy a 64 GB microSD card for about $15 - $20. Add $10 for the adapter and you'd still come out ahead. Plus it apparently works as a sync/charging cable (though a very, very short one).
The listing says 8GB max, but that might have been the largest size available when they were made. I went ahead and made an offer to the seller, so if anyone is interested I'll report back whether it works with higher-capacity cards.
Doh, I just realized the reader has a MINI USB connector. Won't work for the One. However, I did find something similar with the correct port (and cheaper) for anyone else who may be interested in pursuing this route.

Thy have sent pictures to the backers that would indicate they are very concerned about quality. They have delayed the project a few months, but it's getting close to completion.
Finally came in today. Looks and works well.

Where's the best place to buy the stock earbuds that came with the HTC One M7? I lost mine and I absolutely have to get my hands on another pair, I loved them. I've seen some on amazon and eBay but I've read that they are fake and not nearly as good as the stock ones.
Help would be appreciated!
I wish I knew too :/
I got the Ebay ones they sound fine to me. But do yourself a favor and get the Xiaomi Piston 2s off Amazon for 25 they rock. Look up their review on Headfi if you doubt.
They're on Amazon, I've bought them twice already. Love those earphones. Got them for like $8 or less too.

I used to buy HTC One headphones of eBay (okay, I think they were counterfeit, but I can't prove it).
Now I'm much happier with cordless Bluetooth earbuds. They last about 6 hours on a charge.

If they have those plastic circles that you can take out with your finger then it's fake and also the sound quality is bad.

I am wondering what your experiences have been with sub-$100 earbuds.
Trying to find a decent pair but don't want to pay more, especially for something I'll use 5-10x a year.

There is the below thread about one. Post #9 says "These are the same headphones that come with the LeEco S3, Pro, etc. I have them and they are very impressive. "
So that may be a starting point. Basically looking for headphones compatible with those LeEco phones, which seem to need the DAC in the headset and not the phone. I'm going to wait until there are more heaphone options out there myself. Should be just a few months for the Chinese companies to realize there's demand in the US now.
Note that the price used to be $10 a few weeks ago, and is now $30.

There are other suppliers that still have them for $10. I ordered a pair so we will see how they stack up when they get here (12-20 days). https://m.aliexpress.com/search.htm?keywords=CDLA#/
I just ordered the Xiaomi ANC USB-C earphones: https://www.gearbest.com/earbud-headphones/pp_636900.html ($45, I think retail for $60 or $65)
Haven't received them yet, but I love my Xiaomi Piston 3's and Xiaomi Hybrids.

Hi Folks
I'm looking for a wireless power bank that supports fast charging.
I looked around, eBay, Amazon but couldn't find anything,
usually, only the wired part of the bank supports fast charging, but not the wireless...
Is something like this even available...?
ANGELIOX but it looks like its unavailable. Found on Amazon but again they are not available. I know they have plenty of wireless charge banks but not wireless fast charging. Hopefully someone will make another this year
