Yes
Just bear in mind that if you install the global beta, you can't go back to the global stable , otherwise you'll end up bricking your device. I'd recommand you stay with the stable versions until this whole anti-rollback dust settles in.

you are in 9.5.19.0 thats ARB4
dont flash miui10 8.7.5
or globa stablel 9.5.17.0
this are ARB3 and any older version
you cant go back to this or older versions.
but you can flash new upcoming versions. after 9.5.19.0 new versions you can also miui 10 after 8.7.6
So i can go from MIUI 10 beta to MIUI 10 stable when it's officially released but i can't downgrade to any older versions Right?

difference between Cina and global firmware (not rom)

Hi all. Does anyone could explain me the difference between the two firmware.
On xiaomifirmwareupdater.com there are both of them, but I haven't found what is the difference?
May I install a China fw on a global device or I will brick it?.
Tnx
It's safe to flash it. Xiaomi EU uses the China Beta ROMs and Globalized them to include other languages that would be in a Normal Global beta rom from Xiaomi...so with that being said I feel it's safe because if Xiaomi EU and Miroom uses the China Beta as their base then I assume that you flashing just the firmware will not brick your device.

Have you any idea where to find the differences?
Unfortunately not at the moment but I will look into it and get back to you if I find something.

Can I flash MIUI 12 rom on my Indian Note 8 pro model?

Hello members,
Can somebody conform me that its possible or safe to flash the official MIUI 12 rom available in XDA on the Indian variant Note 8 pro? Because the rom has mentioned as begonia which is a global variant firmware. I need to clarify so that things don't turn bad.

yes , as long as it's not beta and it's stable official and has fastboot rom. don't try to flash beta on mtk devices xiaomi already warned rn 8 pro users about it , even if it's stable beta , it's better to wait also xiaomi warned about messing with rn8 pro firmware.

You can but you won't gain anything - those roms are very similar, only difference is that eea is more gdpr compliant...

Question Need help with NFC

Hello, all. My device is Poco F3 Indonesia and have reflash to mi11x version because I prefer MI version over Poco However, there is a problem with the absence of NFC even though my device already supports.
Is there a way to re-enable NFC?

Stock ROM for Mi 11X (Indian version) hasn't software support for NFC because Mi 11X phone hasn't hardware for NFC. If u want Mi launcher u can use china stock ROM or xiaomi.eu ROM (stable or weekly).

i like xiaomi.eu rom but it doesn't support indonesian language, because poco stock rom can't install mi launcher. The Chinese stock rom, the name is redmi k40, also is the miui redmi version, there is indeed a mi launcher, but it doesn't support the Indonesian language

You can ask Xiaomi.eu to include it. Their decision to include or not though.
You can even contribute to translate and port it.
They need people understand at least English and the target language to port it in their Rom. If you find no Indonesian, be the first one.
Also heard some myth: some device can get Mi-launcher after factory reset. Not sure if it's true or not.

You register a new account there, it is not official MIUI website, so Mi-account won't work.

Or find this guy:

He's one of them making Xiaomi.eu MIUI
Seems devs of xiaomi.eu are not so eager to add Indonesian language to their ROM.

Yep. I'm a lucky one. My native language is avail in this ROM
Can I upgrade from global to EU without format? Is encryption same?
On global rom there is also no support for NFC..
If u mean EU=xiaomi.eu, then NO...u have to Format data after u flashed the ROM.
Is any other way for enabling NFC on global firmware? Phone is rooted..
Stock ROM for Mi 11X (Indian version) hasn't software support for NFC because Mi 11X phone hasn't hardware for NFC. If u have Poco F3 (international version) and other ROM than indian version, there is a problem if NFC does not work.
My phone is global. Hw info shows that I have nfc (picture attached).
But there is no option anywhere in settings.
