So, after the pie update I noticed the lg music icon changed to the play music one. So now have two icons of that one.
I was on nova launcher, but tried stock and ms launchers and same issue. Tried to change the icon, but lg music icon is not in the stock image gallery.
Anyone had this happen?

I'm having some issues getting stock widgets to look right on my Go Launcher home screen.
The problem is that when I change the icon grid to 5x4 in Go Launcher, most of the default android widgets look funny. For instance, the stock media player widget cuts off at the bottom. Instead of having the media controls plus one or two songs from the playlist, it only displays one song and cuts off half of the second.
How can I solve this? I think I need to edit the widget size by unpacking the apk, but I'm not exactly sure how. Any ideas?
I like the stock media player, and would really rather not switch.

Try a different launcher you could go apex or holo launcher i have holo no problems yet.... those launchers let you freely move the widget sizes.
Yesterday i made the update from 4.1.2 to 4.2(both versions were installed OTA) and seems like i have the old Play Music, no music widget for lockscreen, only Calendar, Digital clock, Gmail and Messaging...My version is v4.4.811, so the old one.
I tried to update G.Play Music from market but there shows i have the latest version, this version.
Tried to download latest update as .apk but i can't install via File Manager ''App not installed''
When i made the update i had Apex Launcher installed, tried to uninstall the Launcher, same version.

There is no music widget for the lock screen. Unless you're playing music, then it appears.

I don't have that music widget and also i don;t have the widget on home screen.
Someone with this case, how does the music work through the circle? Is it only the stock music app? I use player pro, and was wondering if it will work through circle
I use poweramp and I do not get music controls through the circle
Install the Quick Circle Apps app from the play store, that allows you to use different music programs, plus various other items...great app
is there any way that i can change the icons on the stock launcher to an icon pack downloaded from the play store?
and i dont mean the manual way like changing one icon per time. im searching for something automatic and without unicon since xposed isnt working.
*AND YES I HAVE ROOT*
I'm also looking forward for that.... I like the stock launcher for it's features, and the design is not bad at all, but those square icons makes me switching back and for between it and Nova...
Hi all!
I'm using paid Nova Launcher, and since a couple of mounths, I'm facing a strange behavior with my custom icons.
I'm changing all the icons in the drawer and the desktop with icons I've made. I change them manually, one by one, as I don't know how to build an iconset.
The point is, everytime an app is updated, its icon is resetted to stock one. This I can understand, even if its a pain...
But the Nova settings icon, the google setting one, and the stock messaging one are resetted randomly, and I can't understand why.
So is it a normal behavior in Nova, and is there a way to avoid icons to be resetted?
Thanks for your help.
