USB jig for Galaxy A50? - Samsung Galaxy A50 Questions & Answers

I installed an unofficial version of TWRP for Galaxy A50 and ended up soft bricking my phone.
All it does is boot up to the samsung logo, then stays there indefinitely.
I can force the phone to restart by pressing volume down + power but I can't make it do anything else.
Download mode is not possible to get into with my buttons right now.
Thinking of getting a USB jig - are these still used?
I'm only able to find USB jigs with a micro USB head - my phone has a different connector than that.
Any suggestions?

Conncet the USB cable to the phone and then press Volume Down + Power Button until it vibrates and restarts, after that remove the finger from Power Button while keep pressing Volume Down and immediately press Volume Up. It should bring you to Download Mode.

Can't go to download mode

I'm trying to follow the root how-to over Dev. When I hold down both Vol Up and Vol Down and press Power to turn on, it goes to a blue screen with bunch of Warning lines: a custom....then won't go into download mode. I've tried several times, same result.
Has anyone seen this?
never mind. Wasn't supposed to press power button lol Power Up & Down together then plug in the USB cable. I had the USB cable already plugged in. This is where the issue is lol

Download Mode - How to get into

Trying to reset my AT&T OGP following the directions posted here but I can't seem to get my phone to go into download mode. The instructions say to power off, the hold volume down while plugging the micro-usb cable into my pc. Did that, all I get is the battery charging icon on the screen after the LG logo.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
UPDATE: I got it. I had to hold volume UP & DOWN while plugging in usb.
Hello
Press vol + and vol - together
Then plug the cable

dl mode

I know that u can enter download mode without a battery....isn't it holding down volume down and power button and plugging in a PC?
Hi!
Download mode can be entered by pressing HOME+VOL DOWN+POWER.
Not sure, though, if you would be allowed to go into Download mode without the battery. If it works, you would need to press the buttons (and keep them pressed) before you plug the USB cable. Buttons have to be pressed before power comes in.

What is the secret gesture to enter into Download/Recovery mode?

Hello,
Can someone give me the EXACT procedure to enter into Download and Recovery mode please?
If my tab (SM-T830) is switched off, and I switch it on by pressing Vol down + Power and I keep pressing both buttons, it will boot until the first splash screen (Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Powered by Android) then after this screen, it will reboot..
If I release buttons during this splash screen, it boots up normally
I already succeeded to enter to download or recovery modes before but I have no idea how. I guess I must release 1 or 2 button at the point but when ?
Thanks
Hello,
Hopefully this will be helpful, the following procedure worked for me:
make sure the tab is off
plug the USB cable in your tab (but not in your computer)
hold down both volume buttons together
plug the USB cable in your computer
then the tab start (you may release the buttons) with a menu allowing you to choose (Vol +/-) between download mode and reboot.

It works perfectly, thank! That's a weird way to go to DL mode but it works!
And once I'm already in DL (and flashed a tar with Odin), do you know how I can restart directly to Recovery mode without rebooting to system?

This is really late, but go to recovery and select download mode.
Power off
Hold down all three buttons (power, vol down, vol up)
Once it vibrates let go of power and vol down, continue to hold vol up. Never fails.

Did this several times exactly the same way it's described and it fails every single time. Other way worked perfectly and easily on my first try.

Question Why wont my S22 go into Download mode or recovery mode?

So I have spent hours now looking around for an answer the phone is find my phone locked and I can't remember my pin code. I have done all the tricks with the combination keys.
The usual way to get into Recovery mode is Hold V+ and power until the phone vibrates and you should be in recovery mode release the keys. (Doesn't work)
Iv read that you should have the USB cable connected from pc/laptop while you do the same holding V+ and power button... (doesn't work ether)
and download mode should be very easy just hold V+ and V- plug USB cable from pc/laptop and you should get into download mode by pressing V+. Will only show charging Icon and that's its.
So is it possible to turn off this modes from the manufactor? Or is this a completely new security future? How can you use odin? How can you wipe the cache? If you end up having some issues.
Im going nuts....
No way to get into fastboot ether. So if anyone know why this is happening to me or got any solution I would appreciate it.
Plug in your cable with the phone turned on. Hit Power Off and wait for the phone to fully turn off. The charging logo will show up so let the animation do its thing. After maybe 20 seconds, press Volume up + Power and keep them pressed until you boot to recovery. If the command wasn't recorded in the first place and the phone is still off after more than 15 seconds, let go of the buttons and press them again and keep them pressed until it boots in Recovery

This is so strange even paying for a frp reset but not even he does know what wrong??? Can they turn off fastboot, recovery mode and Download mode on this new phones? Is it because its locked with find my phone? 1 week researching now. It will only vibrate. And my PC cant find my phone anymore worked fine 30min ago nothing has changed... So annoying never seen this happened before every combination with buttons to get in any mode doesn't work only vibrates and go to pin lock screen...
Take it to a Samsung Experience center at best buy. Or send it into Samsung for repair.

thats a solid advice assuming his bootloader/recovery/download mode is fully functional then this advice works, in his case and in mine too it does not work and trying to get to the root of the problem is the key. In my case recovery mode gives error on screen so it may have to do with the way firmware is installed as these modes are not accessible.
have you sorted it out? Its nearly a year onwards =)

This, at index 2:48 minutes.
It needs to be connected to the PC. Another screwy quirk Samsung added recently. Your button timing/sequence matters as well.
On my N10+'s you can go into recovery directly with a restart if you do it right. Otherwise they will puke on you.
