So I noticed that my sleep notification is gone... Now to see my records I have to go manually.
I searched in all menus and I didn't find the option to enable it...
Someone can help me?
I agree with you on this one; it's missing after OneUI update.

Hi,
I've noticed that when I get new mail, I get the little mail icon at the top of the screen. I tap and get the notification manager. When I tap on the new mail item, nothing happens. It's just an annoyance because normally I wouldn't bother and just go straight to the inbox, but jas anyone else come across and know of a solution please?
Cheers,
Pete
Hi there,
Just wanting to check in to see if anyone is having this problem.
To recap, when I tap on the notification area and get the list of notifications, if I tap on ANY notification (whether mail, SMS or reminder) nothing happens. All I can do is exit from the notification manager or dismiss all.
Anyone else seeing this please?
Thanks,
Pete

Notification problem - alarms as well
I have a similar issue - if I have an Alarm reminder and go to the Notification Screen, I can't select it - all I can do is dismiss it (actually dismiss all) and I can't see what the reminder was....any ideas out there?
same problem
I have the same problem and will be very gratefull if someone has a solution.
Also had that problem. I just figured it was caused by one of the programs I had installed. After removing several programs and resetting the device to default status, I still had the problem. So I decided it was time for a hard reset. That solved my problem. Drastic solution I admit, but it fixed the problem
I have the same problem with new messages and missed calls.
They wont be shown when I tap on it on the notification manager...
Just pinging this thread again to see if anyone might have ideas how to resolve this without a hard reset...
Asking the question here rather than in the Dev section and hoping someone will see and answer...
When I receive an SMS via GoSMS the phone's screen turns on. I have turned off this function in the notification settings as well as turning off the LED Blink function... This is kind of annoying and am sure it's draining the battery due to face unlock being enabled on my phone...
Is there anywhere else I should look for a "screen on when sms received" setting?
TIA

This is posted in the correct section, Development isn't Q&A. Now hopefully someone will come along with a helpful answer, not junk and bumps.

Yes, In go sms. Go to Settings/ Advanced tab/ notification settings. There is a box there, uncheck it

I had this issue, and I swear I spent half an hour going through every advanced setting tab thrice, and then like magic, after you say it, I see it. I think I need more sleep. Also, why would this be set on by default? I don't think anybody wants their phone performing this way.
Hi everyone,
I'm having a rather weird problem, hope you can help me out.
Every time I don't answer a call (have a missed call) right after the call ends, the phone starts playing a notification (annoying one for that manner).
I assume that it"s alerting me about a missed call. supposably this should be a no brainier, and the option to disable it is supposed to be somewhere in the settings. But I can't find that setting. and the notification is driving me crazy.
Does anybody have any idea how to turn it off?????
Of course thank you for your time and effort...

well if your phone is rooted and have xposed framework install you can install the g3tweaksbox... from this thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2792242
the only way to disable those sound notifications without root etc is to put phone on vibrate or silent... the g3tweaksbox gets updated and soon will have more features (you can download the beta if you want)
I am rooted and have g3 tweak box... On its beta 1.1. But didn't see any option there to disable the iterating notification...

I guess wait till the next g3tweakbox update... it should be implemented soon...
I hope so... It's crazy LG didn't give us an option to disable it...
Please can anyone resolve this, it's driving me crazy!
I have a nest camera that sends me notifications...
When recieving a notification I used to be able to tap the little indicator on the right hand side of the notification and it would show me the clip without having to go right into the app to view it.
This work when locked or unlocked... Now it won't work on either
Indicator is missing.
Any ideas please?
After hours of trying to sort this I managed to fix it seconds after posting on here
I'm using Nova and I had disabled oneui by accident and the notification permissions had been wiped out in one ui
No, it's doing it again
Hello
I've been having Notifications pop up relentlessly (full greyed out page) regardless if I have any notifications! Like every 1-2 Min. I've scrutinized settings to solve it.
Any corrective direction would be appreciated.
Same here with a few specific notifications. I'm hoping it's a bug they will fix in a future update.
I guess you can't disable System notifications. Seems to be the source.
Only notification I was getting that was annoying was the T-mobile Diagnostics one, found a way to uncheck that in the T-mobile app.
Mine seems to be related to google home and it finding speakers on the network.
OK
Found a setting in gestures I believe that whenever I swiped up on the side button, it triggered Notifications.
Find it! Uncheck it!
