wizard/mda vario case???

okay, i've scoured the internet and found one silicone case by pdaden
(http://pdaden.com/shop/cart.php?target=product&action=view&product_id=18120&substring=wizard),
but don't feel like it's going to truly provide enough protection-based on the few reviews I read. Not to mention I couldnt order one if I wanted as the site appears to be down. I've also put in several requests to boxwave. So my question is....why are there no good silicone cases for the Wizard? I don't need to provide keyboard access, just want something light that will provide a moderate level of protection when carying my ppc in my pocket. I've seen some pretty cool rubber type cases that just wrap around the outside of the ppc and don't provide much screen protection..this would be fine as well, as I use a screen protector. Of course, i can't find one for my device. I'm really open to any suggestions aside from leather or aluminum cases...any ideas???????????

Case with a face cover?

I work in a shop as a mechanic so I would like to get a case just for work. Was wondering if anybody has seen a case with a flap type cover made for the captivate.
Also, do buttons, mike, speaker, ect, line up with the euro galaxy? My sis lives in France and might be able to pick me up a case like that over there. Those type of cases are popular over there.

[Q] High quality leather flip case?

Despite my searching, I can't find a really high quality leather flip case. I'm looking for one which adds minimal bulk and the "hinge" of the screen cover is at the bottom of the phone.
I'm not looking for something off eBay because I've had too many bad experiences with products which look great in the pictures but are horrible in practice.
I'd easily get one from VajaCases if they made one for the Atrix but they do not.

I found a few here and there that retailed around $30. I'd give you the link but I have no idea where I found it, but most (if not all) of the cases I found had the hinge on the top.

I don't understand the fascination of flip cases with the hinge at the top, it blocks the camera and isn't held open by gravity. Is it because you can use it as a make shift stand or something?

I agree, I much prefer flip from the bottom rather than flip from the top.

One X Slim Kickstand add on without case

Hi, i was searching on-line because i wanted to add a kickstand to my one x without adding too much bulk. Unfortunately all of the cases that incorporate kickstands are quite thick. However i found this:

Its an interesting add on that uses 3M double sided tape to attach to the phone and provides both portrait and landscape functionality. but here`s the catch, the kickstand attaches to the bottom of the back of the phone. unfortunately this is where the speaker is located on the one x. I was wondering were it could be mounted since I already purchased one. if anyone else is interested there is a link above. Thanks

Has anyone used GelaSkins on their One?

I've finally gotten around to looking at cases for my One, which is a daunting task and I've been looking at transparent cases. I'm leaning towards the SGP Ultra Thin Air and I was thinking of getting a skin or something along with it to make good on that transparency.
So, has anyone used any of GelaSkins products on their One? Or another device? I'd just like to know if it is easy attaching/removing, reusing, quality of the skin, etc. Any info at all really related to your experience with it.

I have used it on my DHD, attaching is easy, removing isn't hard either.. however when you have left it on for a long time it stretches a little while removing it. it's not enough to deform though! Also back then only the back was covered. the one has frontal parts too, might consider it again myself

I wonder how the front skin (the part that covers the capacitive buttons, not the speaker grills) works? It looks like it has cut outs for the icons, is that enough to register a touch?

i have had gelaskin on my asus transformer before and it isn't really designed to be applied to a rounded surface like back of HTC One or typical non flat surface.
For a non case person like myself,,, i still enjoy these type of skin for looks and some what scratch protection.
