Syberia Project (aka Syberia OS) is a custom ROM for OnePlus One (bacon) that implements various features. This project was designed by our "Syberia Team" from scratch based on AOSP source code. Also for HALs we use CodeAurora sources (i.e. CAF). Our team: @blinoff82, @DennySPB, @alexxxdev. Also many thanks to our designer @rlshukhov for logos, wallpapers and bootanimation.

It's great that the bacon was included in SyberiaOS.
I hope for a long time.
Basic screenshots:
Very nice ROM with lots of features. Siberia theme is stunning. ROMs aren't much different from each other in term of features these days so its great to see some go out of their way to distinguish their brand with unique design and look. Thx for bringing official support here
love this rom so much i tested it yesterday and it's an awesome ROM thank you so much for bringing it to our one plus one Also when you make a phone call with this rom there is a call recording option available so that you can record your phone calls which is really cool and it does work I have not seen any other roms with this feature and i flash a ton of roms
Very customizable ROM, but I've found some deal-breakers (for me at least):
SafetyNet fails both ctsProfile and basicIntegrity tests (Magisk 19.3). Related to permissive SELinux maybe?
Massive screen tearing issues, visible especially when scrolling. It looks like some rectangular parts of the screen are redrawn a bit later. It's a very unpleasant visual glitch.
Sometimes the phone doesn't wake up. System button backlight lights up, screen backlight turns on but the screen stays black, no reaction to touch. Holding down power button opens power menu, but it's messed up: taking up entire screen width, with volume controls visible, buttons aren't probably aligned and overall look reminds me of Android 4.x
Bonus: default screen off animation doesn't seem to work. The screen just goes black in an instant.
Can you fix those? I can help with testing or provide some logs if needed.

I can confirm the screen tearing issue too hopefully we can get it fixed

1. SafetyNet with Magisk 19.0
2. Impossible to fix due to OpenGL rendering. This phone is hopelessly outdated.
3. I did not experience this at OP1, but I saw it a couple of times at my OP6. The problem is known, we are thinking about a solution.
4. How should the default animation work? Show me the video.
Hey, thanks for a quick response!
1. Magisk versions 19.0, 19.1, 19.2 confirmed to pass SafetyNet. 19.3 fails. Downgrading is an acceptable workaround.
4. Sorry, I don't have a video at hand. I expected the Oreo-style animation, where colors fade to greyscale and simultaneously entire screen fades to black over 500ms or so. It was introduced in Lollipop I believe? Certainly Nougat and Oreo used this animation. Right now I press the power button and instantly get a black screen, without any animation whatsoever.
Guys, i need TWO testers: you should know what matlog or syslog is, you should be able to grab logcat through adb. You must install a testing ROM version and check what I ask. If you are ready, PM me in Telegram. @blinoff82.

is that a bad thing? If i press power i know the screen will turn black, thats why we press the power button, in my opinion its fine as it is, too much "fancy" animations also ruin a rom, just my 2 cents.
Congrats on the rom.

Thx but that's not what I meant. I mean the off-screen gestures like drawing circle to open cam, drawing left/right arrow to skip music tracks....etc

I get your point, but there's an option in the settings to choose screen off animation and there are three choices: Default, CRT and Scale. AFAIK Android default didn't change since Lollipop but when I select it, I don't get the default animation, it just turns off. CRT and Scale work fine. I'm totally cool with adding a "Disabled" choice, but right now it doesn't work as described.
Also, Google Pay doesn't work for me, can somebody else confirm? I've configured it as usual, Magisk Hide is enabled for Pay and banking app, but when I tap a terminal to pay nothing happens. NFC is enabled and works for other purposes.

Screen mirror to smart tv (wireless display) doesn't work. All pie Roms for this device have this bug, except for bootlegger. When I try to cast, the screen goes black for several seconds and comes back automatically after what seems like a soft-reboot. Here's the log @blinoff82. Thx

Miracast (WFD) It is impossible to fix as we do not have new blobs for our device. I have no idea how this is implemented in bootleggers.

If it works on Bootleggers ROM, it's probably due to Vladimir Oltean's work.

Bugs:
Please do not report bugs if it is already listen in the list of known issues
Sometimes audio disappears and when this happens you'll experience lags everywhere (especially on video playback) and audio_mix wakelocks that will cause huge battery drain. (Check FAQ for workaround)
Manual network operator search (xmm6360 baseband seems to handle it differently than xmm626x)
Unstable calls audio quality using A2DP Bluetooth Protocol (first call has perfect audio, next ones no)
Sometimes video rendering using software codecs produces videos with inverted colors
Incompatibilities with any Chinese modem/baseband (if you use them you'll have horrible call quality)

FAQs :
Where are "Performance" and "Developer Options" categories?
To activate 'Performance' and 'Developer Options' categories in Settings you need to tap 7 times on 'Build number' located into Settings -> About Phone.
How can i apply themes?
Download the apk files for theme, install them and than apply through theme manager (link to themes ).
How can i solve problems with Hebrew language?
Go to "Developer Options" in Settings and check "Force RTL layout direction".
What can i do to reduce the "echo effect" while in-call?
Try to reduce in-call earpiece volume (if possible).
I'm having problems with battery life, what can i do?
1) Use "Greenify" to hibernate all apps with a "little cloud + 'Gcm' word inside" on the right of each app name.
2) Disable "Location" or set it to mode "Battery Saving" (Settings -> Location)
3) Make sure that your 2G/3G provider signal level isn't always low
4) Deny "Wake Up" and "Keep Awake" permissions to Google and third-party apps. (Settings -> Privacy Guard -> Press menu button and check "Show built-in apps" -> Press menu button again and go to Advanced -> Horizontal Scroll to Device)
5) Disable "Sync" or sync only useful stuff like Contacts
6) Disable "Auto-rotate screen" (Settings -> Display & lights -> Rotation)
7) Try another Modem/Baseband (excluding chinese ones).
If this isn't enough then replace your battery and/or reduce your phone usage. :silly:
Why is my phone over-heating while playing heavy-games or running heavy-apps?
Use a bit your brain to explain why. High CPU and GPU usage = high heat production. Your phone will automatically throttle CPU when needed so don't worry, it is safe and normal.
Can I use another kernel instead of the one included in the zip?
No. Only use the included kernel for 100% compatibility, bug reports with non-standard kernel will be ignored.
Is this ROM OTA supported
Not yet, but we will get it when the feature is available for liquidsmooth.
Video Playback started to lag and there's no sound, what can i do?
1) Make a call (also to an not existent number, you just need to hear something from the earpiece)
2) Reboot your phone
*** IR Remote app isn't working anymore/was working on previous builds/causes my phone to crash, what can i do?

Very smooth indeed. For the dock icons title, on the home screen press menu button and then press settings. It'll take you to launcher settings instead of the main settings.

Is there a transparent status bar?
Howdy,
Thanks for your work. I have a few questions, if you care to answer. If they seem like newbie questions, that's because I am a newbie.
When you describe your ROM as 'lightweight', what exactly do you mean? What has been taken out of Google's code that makes this better than aosp in terms of battery, performance, stability?
Second, Google's official list of Nexus images doesn't have LMY47I for manta yet, only LMY47D. Are they delaying release because it isn't finalised and bug-free yet? In that case would it have been better to base you ROM on the released version?
Third, afaik franciscofranco hasn't released his lollipop manta kernel yet, so which kernel are you using?
Lastly, I'm on the stock LMY47D, rooted. Your promise of battery, stability, performance seems attractive. Games, movies & web are 99% of what I do on my N10. Do you think I should switch? I'll need to decide for myself, I know. Just asking your personal opinion.
Cheers, and thanks once more.
Thanks guys for bringing Chroma to our Manta. Already installed, it's a smooth sailing. Paired with Khaons kernel is flying. I can't find any bugs so far... Oh...now it's hard to choose what layers to install

Sorry it took long to answer, been out and about with no service.
Chroma is based on aosp with some bloat removed (mostly outdated aosp apps) and lightweight code for features (no big bloated code )
Google releases don't matter because we have the source code for lm47I (which was mostly sim code changes so those don't apply to tablets)
This doesn't have Franco kernel (other devices with chroma have it if a current supported kernel is available), this uses the prebuilt stock aosp kernel for now.
As far as battery, stability, etc. Fixing bugs in aosp's code improves these. Performance is achieved by bug fixes and a art conpiler trick (the optimizing apps at first boot) that force more into the ahead of time cache files
Can anyone confirm audio working? Not getting any sound through the soaker speaker or headphones... I'm at work, try to do a log cat later
Thanks for your work !
I've planned to install it tomorrow to replace my old SlimKat 4.4.4...

Same here, no sound through speakers. And I can't pair with my Plantronics headset

Maybe it's just me, but after going through the set up and about to restore my apps, I just keep getting "unfortunately Google Play Store has steopped". This only happens after I flash GApps, until then the ROM is stable(ish)

It's a problem with the GApps. Apparently a number of GApps are having this problem when using the new gapps.
To workaround the problem, go to Settings > Apps > Play Store and clear app and clear cache.
Or use older gapps, I mirrored the old GApps https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934551489

Ok.. this ROM has served me more than great,
I get extra high performance and 5-6 hours SOT with at least 1-2 hours of 3D gaming.
I was thrilled when i saw your thread
Thanks for picking it up!
Microphone in speakerphone mode
Can someone confirm that the microphone works in speakerphone mode in Skype and Viber? It was not working in the last version of CosmicOS from Zukfans.eu
I installed the ROM and it's great.
As i'm one of the first noobs that installed the ROM, here's my first impressions (coming from the previous build and having tried many ROMs both MM and nougat)
I dirty flashed as i was coming from the previous build.
Pixel launcer is quite beautiful and running smoothly.
Everything works great! There are no crashes and no delays.
There's no chromo preinstalled which wasn't working for me
(The app went on a fc loop, i don't really care why as i wouldn't use it anyway )
With everything up and running (viber, what's up, es file explorer, and games on the background) i got 130k on antutu.
Battery life is great as it was on the previous build. No drainage neither while using nor on sleep. (There were sometimes that doze wasn't working properly in the previous build and it was fixed by rebooting, i haven't seen it yet on this build
Viber on speaker, still microphone doesn't work.
I have a yellow tint on my colours, bug that wasn't present on the previous version.(night feature disabled) I had this bug on mokee 6, it was fixed by a kernel zip.
Any quick fix?
No long touch > previous cosmic supports that.
Chromium can not be used.
Security-patch from last month.
hi all.
just want to confirm.
i heard that if using non zui rom, we can flash directly but from 2.3 to 2.5 , we need to flash also the baseband and other things?
Using 2.3 rom now, need to make sure i won't brick my phone.
@MR.HACKER5476 could you add a changelog in the OP for the new releases? Thanks
I love this ROM, everything is super smooth, but the fingerprint scanner is very buggy with it. It seems like its not even on, when I put my finger on it I don't even get a vibration.

I didn't get any fingerprint buggs. In fact for me this rom has one of the best fingerprint recognitions i have encountered.

That's bizarre, because I tried going back to stock and then flashing cosmic again and it still didn't work properly. Back on citrus and everything is fine.
What baseband are you on?

I never bothered with my baseband as i never had any problems with the ROMs i used. I looked at it before answering and it's this one:
".2.0.c1.9-00026-M8996FAAAANAZM-1"
I am now running the 20/3 version of cosmic until the yellow tint is confirmed fixed. In the version i'm running, my fingerprint doesn't get recognized aprox once every 20 times and it needs 0,5sec to work.
In the 06/5 version (which I tested) the fingerprint was working faster and better than that.

It is non treble. So flash it as you do any non treble roms.
Bugs noticed:
1. Stock equaliser app fc
2. In Stock camera the front camera resoultion is maximum only upto 720p but our device supports 1080p
Also this limitation is present in gcam any version will limit the front cam resolution to 720p.
3. Stock camera video recording is dark also in properly lit environment exposure seems to be less.
Rom is smooth and stable af great work dev
Pls add some more fonts in font manager like samsung fonts and usb tethering qs tile as it is convenient to enable from notification panel
After 3 days, rom is stable and bugless for my use. I just find the animations to be choppy (f. ie when you open settings) and battery draining a bit too fast while browsing. Great work, and good to see 3.18 pie rom up to date

Then you should apply for official maintenance.
It turns out that you are the developer of du13. Du13 is very good, but unfortunately stopped maintenance. Ask, will this rom update the 4.4.X kernel?

Thanks
I downloaded and installed this rom today. Was testing around and I notice tw possibleo bugs. 1. Is that my FOD doesn't work and the second thing is that when I decrease the screen brightness to minimum, my phone screen becomes black like the screen is off but it isnt, also cant use adaptive brightness for that reason. I attached a video to show a demonstration of the issue. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-6-yufcDcivPQOyPkAm3ogkEOQvzcZo9/view?usp=drivesdk

On my edge, yesterday (Sunday) morning: Havoc was a snap to install, root, config...everything was fine except for the phone service part. I had no phone service. Phone service, from verizon, that I usually get, was a no-go. Not only did I check to see if it was plugged in, I also turned if off and then back on again. (NO? Lol...)
Initially, I could 'do a thing' and phone service was restored. However, this was short-lived as 'the thing' was an unreliable kludge and stupid and WTF - Also, android 11 convolutes and/or wrecks things about android 10 that I like. I went back to Lineage. Then, I had a pleasant phone call with a buddy because I had phone service, which, was pretty cool, because, I was using a phone.

US carriers, always a hassle.
Anyhow, a log is always helpful
Hello everyone! I just have a small question regarding this ROM. And I think some Edge users would also like to know the answer. As some of you know, the latest official update to Android 11 broke the waterfall screen on our Motorolas. The screen is not fully populated by the applications, instead, the waterfall edges persist black. This is a bit of faux pas from Lenovo's / Motorola side as the main point of this phone are these enormously curved screen edges. They keep telling me that this is not their fault but Android 11 Waterfall API and app developers. Does the same issue occur in this ROM?

Sho 'nuff.
I would care at all about a log, troubleshooting, and fixing if this were my only ROM choice, but, it's not. Also, I don't have time for that. I'll try Havoc again after 4.6.
Hi there! I got an issue when installing TWRP recovery. After the installation and rebooting to recovery I cannot use the touch screen and thus cannot continue further actions.

How did you install twrp?
I would advise against using the twrp installer zip as this happens.. You should just manually fastboot flash recovery_<a/b> twrp.img
