Hey everybody,
Got a brand new XZ2c. Latest Updates installed.
While taking the first test video recordings, I've noticed that the first 5 seconds are always mute. Then audio starts.
Tried to play around with some settings reading resolution, HDR or storage local or on SD card.
All the same. Any ideas? Did I miss something?
Thx in advice
Edit: phone factory reset didn't help.

I've recently been noticing when I actually went ahead and utilized the video recording functions of my KS20, that it stutters horribly during recording - as in, it literally freeze-frames every few seconds of video, which makes any recordings really horrible to watch. I know on my old phone, which had the same sort of 2MP camera, I never experienced such issues.
Is there a driver patch or update I can be directed to in order to rectify my problem?
Cheers for any assistance.

try to record on internal storage
I have it set to internal, and there's plenty of space for it to use to store the video. It just keep stuttering - with plenty of ram free as well. I'm quite lost as to what's the problem exactly.
Sorry to resurrect my old post, but I'm still having the problem despite fiddling around with it insistently, to no avail.
Basically, I'm storing on the internal memory, with plenty of RAM free (original ROM as well). I record video and every 2-3secs it freeze-frames or stutters for a moment, and does not stop (recorded 5mins and it kept doing it). I really need to understand whether it is a software issue, or an issue with the firmware, or if it's hardware and i need to get it repaired. The camera takes perfectly fine photographs and i have no other problems.
Any ideas/fixes that I could be informed of would be great.
Hi all,
After upgrading my HTC Desire to 2.2 Froyo I was very excited about HD video recording. Done few shots outdoor, indoor then when I played it back on my pc the video was ok but I had like cut-off on the sound. Checked on different computers with different soft and same thing on all of them. Someone said my sd card is not fast enough (samsung 4GB Class2). Gone to shop and bought 8GB Transcend Class 6. Now it's hard to say because I still have same problem Now I have less 14 quid in my pocked and still cannot use my phone to occasionally record video. I don't expect brilliant quality from it, all I need is to record and maybe upload in youtube. It is very frustrating - dialog sounds like: "Hi ...ow you ..ing? Woul.. you go for a ..."
Does anyone have similar problem?
Can somebody help me?
Hey guys,
I need to fix a broken video footage on my phone. The record is absolutely crucial for me, so any help is appreciated.
What happend was, basically, I was recording in HD, and after about 20 mins my whone decided to suddenly rebot and get stuck in bootloop. So I'm guessing that the video format wasn't properly "closed down" (I'm a noob in these things).
I already tried to play it with VLC, but it crashed upon trial. Media player classic and SMPlayer fails to play them as well. Is there a software to fix this file?
Well my primary 5yr old phone decided to fail. I picked a Nokia 6.1 ta-1045 as an open box for half the price. No wall charger or cable and a small scratch on the back. When I boot it up all looked normal and first thing it wanted to do was update and upgrade to Android 9. From the start I can't place or receive calls. When I place a call the screen sits on a black screen for little bit then the phone reboots on it own. Cell Data and wifi work fine. If I use the native YouTube app videos will not play. When I press play on a video it just freezes on first frame of video. If I use a browser to get to YouTube and play video it will play but there is no sound. I can turn up volume and I not muted. I tried putting headphones in no audio there. Speaker has no audio. Is there any solution to these issues? Would going to an official devel. Rom solve this or will the problem carry over?
Have you tried a factory reset?
My TA-1045 updated from O to P just fine with no factory reset, but if you haven't modified anything, it's all I can think of to try.
I did the wipe data/factory reset option. that is the only option I tried from that menu. there still no audio.
Recording video from camera fails too. wont capture video or audio.

Edit: I saw a solution of turning off Hey Google in another thread and that worked for the freezing issue
HOwever, I still can't playback recorded videos
and I discovered that after I try to playback a video, i can no longer record
Hey fam!
I just got this phone from eBay
It came with an unlocked bootloader running what appears to be a global rom, because it says it's an edge 30 and has play store and all that jazz
I'm having an issue where the sound/video will cut out or pause in apps though. It usually lasts about a second or so. Everything still works in the background, so it's not like the phone itself is freezing. For example, the slightly animated background in Apple Music keeps moving even when the sound cuts out.
Youtube videos have the sound and video hang constantly
Any tips on how to fix this, or should I just flash a chinese rom back to it?
Edit:
I just did a test with recorded content
I was able to record a video with no issues at all. Camera feed stayed stable the entire time. Trying to play it back, after about a second or two it hangs and errors out saying can't play video
Just in case anyone else is having issues

fixed this for me. Phones works great now
Now I just need to figure out how to get/install updates since my bootloader is unlocked
